The beater brush on our DC25 had stopped working so I was very pleased to find that it is possible to replace the cleaner head assembly. The unit arrived very quickly and is a genuine Dyson component. Given that it contains a motor unit, you might have thought it would be tricky to fit it, but it was simplicity itself - just release the existing cleaner head unit by pressing the light grey tab and slot the new one in. Our DC25 is now as good as new. Dyson are to be congratulated on making it so easy to replace the parts on their machines (although its not clear to me why this component is not available on the Dyson website).

Sadly the existing head on the 18 month old vacuum failed, with a large flash of blue light.On the positive side, the replacement was easy to fit and is now working as new. I can't help but wonder if that perhaps the ease of removal / replacement was by design knowing that this part of the vacuum was very light on quality both in the design and materials used. Dyson built there name on the first machines which were of a higher quality and made much stronger, this it would appear is no longer the case so buyer be ware.

a few known issues with the dyson DC25 is the shut off switch and the motor burning out. After replacing the switch and with no joy i decided to buy this and what a brilliant replacement and so easy to do. just lie the dyson down and move the grey switch up at the back and then pull the hoover head up and it will come away easily, then just do the reverse with the replacement. Job done. Much cheaper then replacing with a new Dyson hoover.

An excellent product which gave new life to our Dyson cleaner following a very expensive service by a company claiming to specialise in Dyson servicing and after which the Dyson ceased working!! Dyson provided us with very good advice and we consequently purchased a new cleaning head. It was delivered very promptly and was extremely easy to fit. The cleaner is now like new again and working very efficiently.,

I am delighted to say I once again have a working Hoover , we were not sure what had gone wrong with the brush bar and took apart the relevant parts of the Hoover then read somewhere that the motor in the cleaner head can go so looked up Amazon and found a replacement cleaner head for a really good price and glad we did I know have a fully working Hoover once more so happy customer .

item arrived early than exspected ; which was good.m-head was in excellent running order - clean- tidy.it was returned because ; fault in my machine was elsewear and not in head.i asked for refund naturally.//.exspecting aggro; story of my life//. not a bit like it ; monies refunded no fuss; on aggro; and prompt.brilliant service form b-elegace.happydays.fw.

Unbelievably easy to fit! I was going to buy a new motor and brushes but for a few quid more went for the complete unit and I'm glad I did. I didn't realise just how worn the old (8 years?) unit was. This runs so smoothly. Recommended. Will keep the new motor compartment free from dust in future as it had built up, causing it to overheat and burn out.

I was right to buy from cherrypickelectronics, through Amazon. I received the right product, delivered on time, and at about half the price that Dyson Spares wanted to charge. (Free from postage charges as well).Fitting was simple and it worked first time. Mrs.A is a happy bunny again, and I must keep out of the way (so I'm happy too)..

Very pleased at finding this seller. The roller on my dyson hoover had stopped turning and I hoped the new cleaner head would resolve the issue. As it was only a guesstimate I was pleased there was a no quibble return if the diagnosis was incorrect.The item arrived very quickly and at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Thank you!

I only bought this because they were out of stock at Dyson. However the head assembly arrived on time, looks exactly the same as the one to be replaced, and cost little more than half the Dyson price. So far I have no complaints at all and am very satisfied. The part simply clips onto the vacuum body and is very easy to install.

My Dyson stopped working and we decided it needed this part, shopped around and the price paid was considerably less than other sites. The part arrived well packaged and a day earlier than quoted. It easily clipped into place and my hoover is as good as new! Delighted.

Brought my old dyson back to brand new! If yours is not picking up as it should you need to get this item. It's not lack of suction it's because the brush motor need replacing which is included in this part. You will not delive the difference when you replace it.

Had few probs with dismantling to clean and fitting it, its not as smooth as the original dyson head, and since fitting it I have had probs with the dyson ball mechanism sticking not sure what it is as when I put the old head back in the ball works fine!

Brilliant, wasn't available on the dyson site! The price was almost half that on the dyson site as well. This has saved me a small fortune, because I was about to purchase a new cleaner - thank goodness I decided to search on the internet!!

I have my Dyson back ! Brilliant I did miss not having it!! My husband decided he would try out different things just in case other things were wrong..... 3 weeks later, at last I have what I wanted to do in the first place!!
