Having been partial to a drop of malt whisky for many years, I was pleasantly surprised to 'discover' the Tomatin distillery in the summer of 2019. I had never heard of Tomatin before as their products do not tend to occur in the major supermarkets. Sampling the wonderful Tomatin Legacy was something of an epiphany for me. It is now the benchmark by which I judge all whiskies in the £30 and under bracket. A true work of art, and an absolute delight.I am not a person who takes whisky too seriously, and by no means am I an expert; just someone who appreciates a fine tipple. Written reviews of drinks can be quite subjective, but for what its worth, my own perception of the flavour and aroma are:-Nose: coriander leaves, watermelon and vanilla. Palate: honey, apples, pepper and fruit cake.

I had heard many a good thing about this on Whisky geek forums. I generally don't replace sweeter whiskies. Thats not to say some of the ones i have tried in the past are bad whiskies , it's just my personal taste for more spicy (think Campletown) or full bodied whiskies (think Classic Speysides) when not enjoying big peat or Bourbon.i have purchased Glenmorangie 12, Writers Tears, Green Spot, and AnCnoc 12 in tbe past. none are poor whiskies and i enjoyed them but didnt love them and would not buy again. Tomatin Legacy i would buy again.A wonderful dram , not overly sweet but just the perfect balance of sweetness and lighter whiskies. throughly enjoyed.forget this has NAS its a cracking whisky well worth £30 or under.

I visited the distillery on a tour with a group of friends and tried their entire range, having never heard of them before I was really surprised that the cheapest was my favourite and I would enjoyed both the taste and the nose right down to the last drop.Do yourself a favour and try it - I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Tomatin Legacy boasts aromas of vanilla, marshmallow, pineapple and lemon. On the palate gentle flavours of candy, pine, lemon sherbet, apples and sponge cake emerge ahead of a light, clean finish. This is a very pleasant whiskey and deserves a try and easy to enjoy I will be buying again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this Tomatin Legacy! I personally found it to be quite delicious & bursting with flavour. To me it tastes like a far more expensive whisky, not that all expensive whiskies are the best, far from!! I will certainly be adding this to my collection!

I was not dissapointed with Highland Lagacy from the Tomatin distillary. This single (no-age statement) malt has a distinct character which I have found to be deeply satisfying. I would highly recommend this product.

A surprisingly good and complex whisky for the price point. A drop of water helps things along nicely. I didn't warm to it initially but after the bottle had been opened a week or two it opened up wonderfully.

Was impressed with this, wasn't expecting too much from a reasonably priced no age statement whisky but has a nice sweetness and at 43% a little more strength, will give their more mature malts a go some time

A good mellow scotch. If your expecting unique flavour like Laphoaig or Aberlour you will be disappointed, but at this price it presents great value for money.

Bought this for my dad for Christmas as he got a whisky advent Callander for his birthday and this was his favourite bottle, he had no complaints.

Very good value, courier very polite, asked for age ID such as driving licence photo for age verification. Very good attention to detail

This is a really nice whisky it is also presented really well and looks a lot more expensive than it is. A really nice gift for someone

A clean and smooth whisky, pleasant on the nose, a bit too young but the spiciness starts building up and boom, Grand finale!

A whisky at 43% and under £30 is great value. Hints of peat, with citrus fruits, and a touch of caramel make this go to dram.

Yum, unfortunately didn't last very long , need to get another one, nice toffee overtones and smooth lingering flavour
