Ordered on the 2nd May and just arrived ( 14th May ) which is pretty good considering it came all the way from Hong Kong and the price at under £60 incl. postage is more that 40% cheaper than any model shop or other Amazon sellers. It arrived in perfect condition and is exactly the same as you can get in model shops in the UK selling it for £100 or thereabouts. Now comes the enjoyable task of assembling it - should take a few months as I want to make a good job and end up with something to be proud of.

Although this kit must be about 20 years old the details of the model are fantastic.EspeciallyThe kit does build into a large model so space is required to display it. It even comes with pre-painted canopy parts and the instructions are very easy to follow.A perfect Christmas present for myself.

Its certainly not a new kit, but its Tamiya so its pretty damn good for its age. A Lancaster in 1/48 scale is a big kit. I really can't imagine how big the new 1/32 scale one is. I will stick to this excellent kit. Its about a 6th of the price of the HKM kit.

as useful with Tamiya the quality is excellent he cost is a little expensive but Tamiya could have offset this by offering the paint to go with it. a little more thought into extras such as set belts, flaps et would have gone a long way

Brought this as a surprise gift for my husband as I knew it was exactly what he wanted. Delivery was so quick it nearly ruined the surprise. Please remember you will have to buy glue and paints. Definitely use this supplier again.

Great detail on this model. I've never done spray painting before but I would highly recommend it for the large size of this model. The price is excellent and delivery was just 7 days. Brilliant service. Definately 5 stars.

Have been looking to build a Grand Slam model for a while, and this one did not disappoint, especially when coupled with an Eduard detailing kit! The attention to detail is excellent, even down to "weighted" wheels!

Good Delivery from Hong Kong, less than a week. Its not a copy or a second if any one was a little worried.. same item as in the shops over her for loads more. Supplier was excellent too.

A real project for the long winter nights. Fabulous detail and the usual Tamiya sprue definition and quality. Get the Eduard photo-etch cockpit kit to make it perfect!

Parts so small really need good magnifier and watchmaking tools. Not fir feint hearted. Yet to complete product. But enjoy frustration of making

a large model of an historic aircraft, very detailed an accurate. W ill make a great model to display. A must item for any model aircraft maker

Looks like a really good kit and it looks very big. Well worth the money it will go well with my battle of Britain's kits
