I bought this after a long research on the internet for the folllowing reasons:1) The most powerfully portable speakers out there.2) Bluetooth Streaming3) Good battery life4) Excellent reviews over the net by experts and general publicNow after owning one for a week, what do I think?The answer is: Wooow and Wooooow again. I never thought that sound reproduction can be this great from a speaker. And trust me, currently I have invested in a state of the Technics surrond sound Dolby hifi. My car has the top spec BMW car audio system (admittedly 10 years old system but nevertheless :-( and my laptop boasts build in Harman/Kardon speakers. But I have never enjoyed music quite like this before from the Supertooth Disco.I must admit the name Disco sounded a bit cheesy and cheap (by the way its also called Blueant M1, the name given by the Austrilian suppliers), anyway after playing music from it, I realised why its called Disco as it really makes you believe that you are in an amazing place, as the sound has that feel of disco, cinema and big concert feel to it. I only wished that I could buy two more and simulteanly connect all three together with bluetooth but unfortunalley current bluetooth technlogy doesn't allowed that. Anyway if you want a portable speaker for the reasons I have listed above then, there is nothing better then this that also tick all the boxes.

a while ago I bought the Supertooth 'Disco' for my other half to use with her i-pad ...as a bluetooth unit and as a speaker it gives good connection and a great sound ... good tone and volume ... and importantly a good solid quality unit!!we have not had a problem with it since I bought it ... a number of friends who have seen it have been impressed enough to go an buy it themselves ... you may be able to tell its a very happy customer who is writing this!! ...what makes me write the review is not just the unit itself ... its the after sales service we have just received from the Supertooth company itself ...a while ago someone kindly stole a bag of ours which had the units charging adapter in it ...so we have been unable to charge and use the Disco ...after trying to get an adapter myself and not being successful I contacted [...] themselves ... I was only asking for details so I could buy a new adapter but instead they took my details and sent me a new adapter directly from France ... free of charge!!its not often that I am prompted to write anything ... (this is my first ever review!!) ... but when you are given such a good service from a company you bought an item from a couple of years previous ... I think that the company deserves a mention!!so thank you Georges for your assistance and thank you [...] ...from a very happy and impressed customer

I bought the Supertooth speaker with a little aprehension after reading some of the negative comments but slightly restricted by my budget I decided to give it a try.I can honestly say this is a terrific product that does exactly what it says and the overall quality is excellent.The speaker itself looks great and has a very reassuring weight about it. Not too heavy, but not too light. The finish and quality of the unit is also very good, certainly better than I expected and I would say that the pictures on here don't really do it justice, it looks much nicer when you see it for yourself.Pairing up the speaker via Bluetooth to my iPhone 4 and my wife's iPad mini was a breeze and neither of ushas experienced any of the hissing or buzzing that other reviewers have mentioned.Sound quality is superb for a portable unit. I've only previously connected my iPhone to a Bose bluetooth sound dock in a well known electrical store and it's safe to say the Supertooth does an admirable job of reproducing crisp, clear sound with enough Bass to satisfy most tastes. It's not as good as the Bose but then the Bose does cost £200+ and the difference is negligeable to be honest.If your looking for a well priced speaker that has the performance to match most top end products at a fraction of the cost, then I would recommend this 100%

Recently up graded to the new 5th gen iPod touch and needed a new speaker setup, looked around at various makes etc and came across the new version of the Supertooth Disco by mistake, did some more research and found this item, and from the various reviews on the web had feed back and with the price offered by Amazon thought hey lets give this ago. Well all I can say is AWESOME bit of kit, sounds nice feels nice (not cheap plastic). I am able to have it setup next to a plug socket so it's plugged into most of the time, What I do like is that when you pause or switch off your player the unit goes into sleep mode IE powers down but leaves the Bluetooth ticking over in the background so when you power up your player again the unit springs into life,so need to switch of the unit every time only at end of the day. In all I am very happy with this unit. Thank you Amazon for a first class service.

Brilliant and compact wireless speakers......Setting up the Bluetooth with my Nokia N95 and my PC was simple...you need to press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker for about 3 seconds ..until the light glows continually blue...and is then in search modeand finds your target easily.The sound is great for such a small speaker and certainly enough for most uses...apart from "Bringin down da House"...lolIt will operate up to 8 metres away from the source and lasts about 3 hours on the battery. Am taking it on Holiday...so that we have music by the pool, via my Nokia...without any annoying wires or mains power supply. That is all I want. Sounds fine with Movies as well.The real deal

I bought the Supertooth Disco speakers after reading the Amazon reviews. For just under £80 you get an absolute bargain. OK it's not hi-fi sound but the speaker provides clear punchy sound and with the volume cranked up it's plenty loud enough to entertain in a small / medium size garden. It recognised my ipad3 in seconds. The unit is very solid and the case is fantastic. There is no need to take it off. I didn't expect this quality for the price and would have gladly paid much more. Compared to some speakers I've heard at a similar / higher price this is a no-brainer. Just buy it.

WOW, this speaker is LOUD..! 30odd watts, 12 for the bass bin alone..! Once you put a equaliser app on your android this speaker is good. Nice range, plenty of punch on the bass, very little distortion at full volume, even when I'm playing Drum & Bass through it. I connected my SII and Archos and my missuses iPhone and iPad, no problems, switch between all of them nice and easy. The speaker is quite heavy, feeling solid and well made. Good easy controls and the neoprene case that comes with has hole in the back for bass speaker and for connections... Good bit of kit.

I have owned this item for 13 months and use it almost every day. I use it to listen to Radio 2 in the morning, via iPhone or iPod touch using Tunein radio. The range is great , the idevice can be left upstairs while I listen to the Supertooth downstairs. I also use it for Spotify and iTunes music on the ipod/iphone. My iTunes music is in Apple lossless and it sounds great via Bluetooth on this device, as does Spotify. It also works great when watching movies on the iPad. I cannot recommend this highly enough, an absolute bargain at the price.

Bought this because the sound from my recently bought laptop is tinny and harsh. I can't listen to music or streamed radio with that kind of sound for long.I wanted a bluetooth device that has good sound and which is reliable. For £80 you are not going to get a better piece of kit than this. From opening the box to getting it to work took maybe 3 minutes. The sound is great - full and true. The battery really does last the 10 hours claimed, and charges quickly.I really couldn't ask for more - this is a great product.

Without doubt this is a real gem of a speaker and delivery was very quick indeed,the quality of this speaker is much higher than expected for the price and has given my music collection a whole new experience,by that I mean I am noticing detail in my music that definately was not there with my current system and I thought that was very good until I heard these speakers,I could not be more impressed,if you are conpemplating buying these speakers I can only say you will not be dissapointed!!!

Have it for probably a year now, it's a great portable speaker, the battery will last between 5/10hrs depending on the volume. It's quite loud (enough for me anyway).The downside will be the sound,the Bluetooth sound isn't as good as when wired. But I survived that part.If you're really fussy for the sound quality, get yourself a Bose or a Denon Hi+fi system (4/5 times the cost of the ST Disco).If, like me, you can compromise, then I do recommend this product to you.

Bloke very generously bought me iPad for Xmas but speaker quality on same disappointing. So did a bit of research, and came across this little treasure. It really does the business, superb sound quality, bluetooth connectivity easy peasy, can take it out in garden and listen to radio/music or whatever.Carrying case brilliant, battery life excellent.Don't bother to look any further, buy this one.But have to admit bloke picked up the tab for this as well!

Excellent sound quality. Bluetooth connection works great. I use this on holiday when watching movies etc through my tablet just Bluetooth the sound and turn it up. Also plugged my small headphone amp for electric guitar into it with the 3.5mm line in and it made that sound good too. If you want an excellent, versatile speaker and sounds good and holds it's charge I recommend this one.

Arrived on time good sounding piece of kit very loud good base unlike some battery does not last as long as stated maybe 3hours if you give it some wellie use mains adapter when at home but great for in car you can even plug into cig lighter socket I have a Kia picanto sound system is rubbish it has saved me having to put new system in car yes I would recommend speaker 8out of 10

Hello!these portable speakers work fantastically well with my ipad and iphone.As they are portable, I can take them anywhere, listening in the bath or they fit in my rucksack for holidays.The bluetooth connection is easy to set up and the sounds although not audiophile is very good.at the price I think these are great value.DancingBhoy
