Just as Good as the Old Surform - I bought this one just in case the Old Surform ever went missing - Have used the Old Surform since the early 1970's - the Blade has only just broken - fortunately the blades can still be bought through AMAZON so I now have Two Excellent products.- Can't tell yet if the new blades will last 40 years - Maybe I will have ask my Granddaughter or Grandson to let you know.

Another great product by a trusted brand... making short work of tackling uneven plaster surface... got a spare blade too but at this rate won't need it... so pleased with my purchase... very sturdy - looks even better in real life than in the picture... definitely recommend.

Great for shaving cupboard doors down to size during kitchen renovation. My dad has had one for decades and I'm not sure if he has ever had to change the blade!

I bought this in preference to a conventional wood plane and I find it much easier to use. I can actually keep things straight using this..................

Used this alot, feels very sturdy, easy to change the handle around and put it back no problems. It's sharp and does a good. No faults

ideal for all those jobs that need a different tool rather than a plane....gets into smaller area...will buy a smaller one later

It does the job. The 2 position handle is really useful. Good for rounding of corners or removing bobbly surfaces

I discovered Surform 50 years ago. It is still one of the best tools to have in your woodworking toolbox.

+It does what it says on the tin- Blade broke on the first stroke, good job I had a spare blade

Bought to replace the old one. For me a well used handy tool for buffing wood or plastic.
