Quite simply, a pendrive for the new USB-C socket, and from Sandisk which is as ever a bench mark of quality and speed.USB was a great idea - fantastic transfer speeds - spoiled by the big clunky connectors and leads needed for it and it also managed to interfere with wifi signals to boot. I guess thats why USB 2 has stuck around as the standard connection for so long. This does away with all that, it is a tiny connector, able to fit onto the smallest devices comfortably and we will surely we these appearing all over in the next few years, especially as the need to transfer ever large quantities of data grows.whilst not essential,

The ScanDisk Ultra Type C 32 GB USB drive is a powerful, yet tiny pen drive for the new USB C Standard, perfect for our new MacBook, and I think that the new Macbook Pro will have multiple C sockets.Measuring in at 4cm long by less than 2 wide it might be easy to misplace. You can fit it onto a keyring, but to be honest, the casing looks a little weak, and knowing how I treat my keys, I wouldn't ... easy enough to put a tab on it and tuck it into a pocket in your laptop bag.if you need to transfer files to older computers or other devices, you will need an adapter which are very cheap to buy on Amazon. Works as expected, and the great thing about USB C is that there is no wrong way to install ...

Would just fine with my PC and LG G6, very compact and no problems with clearance even with USB ports right next to it in my IO. Only one side is covered with the case which is fine, just stops you from accidentally bending the fragile type c connector.Reads are fast with writes being nothing special.Only fault would be the heat. This is my first USB C drive so ive no other comparison with similar drives, only to high capacity USB A 3.0 and the such but after minutes of writing or reading it would be uncomfortable to hold.Be mindful that heat will reduce the life of the flash memory so dont use this as your backup drive.

SanDisk are in my opinion the best for memory storage. They balance performance, cost and reliability. This is no excedition to that.It's priced well and equally well made. The Ultra version are normally the top end of their mid range a day as such performance is good. It utilises the new type c connection starting to be found on phones and laptops etc.The good thing is it can be used with any device that connects with type c making it very versatile. If using it with a phone there's a handy app for managing your media so it's a great way to back your stuff up or keep certain things handy for use without clogging your phone up.Great little flash drive

I thought it would only work on some products but worked on all Ctype devices. Just be careful not to lose it so small and compact. Now you can take as many photos and back up when you need.

Well made and does the job, but like other reviewers have suggested it does get hot to the touch very quickly with normal usage

A really smart supplement for your 12" Mac, with this you no longer need adapters for USB-C.
