The first thing about this is the light cheap feel it has - the packaging seems stronger. Given it holds possibly valuable personal data, you'd think they'd used better quality plastic. Sandisk stuff is usually very reliable. It has a nice pulsing red light. Really. Whatever, it has a thumb slide to push the USB connector out from its recess. You then plug it in to a USB 2.0 slot. This triggers the stick to run a program resident on the stick. The program is the backup utility - U3 Launchpad. It reveals your hard drives and gives you the choice of what to backup etc.In my case using Windows 7 the utility would not run. But looking on Sandisk's site, I found a later version of the utility for Windows 7.

Thought I'd write a quick review to express how pleased I am with this product.The main feature is the backup facility. This worked easily. I found it quick to set-up and thereafter when synchronising the USB stick with my folders it would take just a minute or so to backup all the files.The U3 software is very good and you can easily set-up password protection and a whole host of other things.The main reason I wanted to write though is that I managed to put my USB stick through a 30C rinse in the washing machine and it survived no problems. So it's durable too.

I thought i would give this memory stick a go as it looked nice and a good price for a 16gb with the backup feature. I have nothing bad to say about it other than its a bit long. But the great build quality, good backup feature, nice look and good price make this product worth the 5 stars and for a decent price.I also did a speed check on the usb. Which came up as 19mb/s read speed and 11mb/s write speed, which is quite fast.

So far very happy with this device. I have one of the Titanium San Disk, which I must admit is my favoured device purely down to the durability. But the plastic version seems well built and durable. I've not used the auto backup button yet, to be honest I never bought the device for this particular feature.

A nicely designed retractable memory stick, easy to use, unable to comment on the push button backup feature as it is not compatible with Apple, but huge saving on price as compared to retail shops, I bought 3 for less than the price of 1.

Arrived quickly, good design and Sandisk quality. A little bulky but that's okay. I only needed a 16GB one but you can get a Cloud Store on it where it allows you to send and back-up data etc. from the cloud to this device.

Arrived promptly with no damage. It works a treat and is easy to use, a great Little Kit. I plugged it in, followed the instructions and away it went. I use it for saving videos and photos, it hasn't failed yet.

SanDisk kit is first class and this usb backup device is no exception. I thought perhaps delivery was a tad slow, but waiting for a good piece of kit shouldn't really be moaned at. Good kit.

This backup flashdrive has been absolutely great the only mistake I made was not buying the 32gb model for the extra memory capacity. Has done every thing I expected of it.

In my opinion this is one of the best USB flash drives ever, it's fast, light to bring along and with a really nice design.I absolutely advice to buy it!!!

Very good product does everything it says it should ,Impressed.Also cheap but not tacky as you might expect from aflash drive of this price.
