Ryobi continue to provide good alternatives to corded tool and this is another great example. These tools do just the same job as other versions but without the need for extension reels, trip hazzard power leads on the floor and in some cases, the danger of cutting through them. A little larger than some corded models, this power file is perfect for the job and surpasses my original mains file. Motor projection can be a slight problem at times but the plus points far outweigh any small niggles. Belt change is easy and dust extraction simple. If you find yorself using these One+ tools you may need to invest in a second or third battery, if you have more than one tool on the go.

It is what is is, a convenient time saver using the batteries you've already bought. I've kept the Zerconia ubergritt belts on a powerful AC machine with easy change brushes for the apex power file jobs and this 18v cordless file for the worn in fine gritt polishing belts to save changing gritt requiring a mini cleaning of the file and also it is obviously better than a hand file for mobile jobs in the hands of a hobbyist not packing a mobile compressor and some air tools or a generator and a good life insurance policy.

I had a black and decker mains one of this tool and I am surprised how much quieter this one is and still does the job. I slapped on my 5ah fuel tank for it and the tool performed perfectly. The belts you can get almost anywhere. Variable speed is handy and I found lock on good as I could rest my trigger finger on the tool for extra support when detail was needed.

I’ve been heavily invested in Ryobi products as it makes sense to stick to one brand When you’ve gone cordless. This is a great little sander for specific uses when you’ve got a narrow or hard to reach place. Maybe not for everyone but I do find with woodwork having specific tools for different jobs does tend to be beneficial

Had a black and decker original one for years good device but corded and a pain always losing the rollers and when I saw Ryobi had a one I had to buy one I like the Ryobi one concept and all are excellent devices more trade quality than diy used this all morning and very good.

This is more fun than I expected. I used it for grinding down axe faces, and it chews through steel, as long as you have spare sanding belts. More versatile than a grinding wheel. Definitely buy very fine belts; then you have a nice polisher.

Very impressed with this Ryobi tool. Added to the collection and they all do exactly what they say they will. This has been used a lot since purchase so hopefully it will prove to be great value for the price I paid.

This is an extremely handy tool for finish/detail sanding. No air hose, no power cord! Ryobi should release this in the USA, so everyone else doesn't have to pay as much as I did to get it.

Belt has come off a couple of times during use but I was standing a large section of wood. Otherwise very effective in working on tricky pieces and speeds up the sanding process

This tool isn't available In the US. Amazon to the rescue. Roll works great. I use it to sharpen my mower blades without removing them. Along with normal sanding techniques.

This power file (mini belt sander) is great. I can get into areas to smooth and remove rust that I can't easily reach with any of my other tools.

This thing is great, I use it all the time for sharpening garden tools and firewood axes, as well as using it for car and household diy uses.

works fine but slow, maybe slow is best at the black and decker one I have is fast and wastes the sanding belts, no cables is a boost

As always Ryobi atr good quality. Also light to use and variable speed really useful for delicate to reach parts

Not as fast as black and decker corded powerfile but being cordless it is more convenient and easy to use
