I have a collection of Ryobi one-plus tools covering most of the range. I am both a professional tool user and multi skilled. This is my first experience of brushless battery tools and this was bought as a replacement for a very early (blue) one-plus drill which had eventually failed. The brushless tool is lighter and better balanced than either model of the old blue tools I have or the later green one which this is similar in function to. The torque control is by cutting the power which must save battery and, more importantly, avoids the horrible noise of the slipping clutch of the mechanical limiter. The only negative point is the high pitched whistle from the electronics which is noticeable but not obtrusive.

i have this drill,its my third ryobi drill i have had over the years, as i use them every day in the trade they get punished,i thought the old drill 1802 was good but this one is the best i have ever used or owned and i have used all makes,this one is up there holding its own against much dearer brands.Brilliant powerful bit of kit.

Much better build quality than all my other Ryobi OnePlus tools. I really like the "intelligent" torque feature which applies a consistent amount of torque and cuts the power at that point. This caught me by surprise at first but now I've got used to it, it's a gives you better control over the drill.

I got this drill as a set and was immediately impressed with the high quality and performance of the drill. A couple of my old termer drills died so bought a different one and it’s not as good as this model. So I bought another of this type!

I purchased this to replace my dewalt combi (a year or 2 old) and have found it better quality and performance. Nice grip and the metal chuck if a nice feature, nice high impact per min for drilling tough walls.

Excellent drill, great VFM. Far more power than a standard cordless drill. The brushless technology really does make a huge difference, more than capable of most jobs.

Great item. used on many jobs and still going strong. A good battery and 'proper' drill bits/drivers and this is a very good cordless tool

Had the Impact screwdriver for years been absolutely brilliant battery still good so decided to treat myself to the drill as well
