Excellent addition to the superb Bosch 10.8/12V system. Lightweight powerful and cleverly designed. I have lots of their kit (for years) including most of their drills/driver models. Particularly like the hammer feature on this but epecially how they have introduced a separate switch for hammer, drill and driver. Means you can leave the torque setting as is and switch to drill and back again without changing anything else. (quick to drive, then undrive then drive again as needed)Have already used it on masonry work and saves me a lot of time dragging out the mains drill for hammer. Surprising how effective this small unit is.So even if like me you already have a few cordless drills,

This is a great tool, it was purchased to replace one which had been very much abused over the years. They have been powerfull, light and have done everything asked of them. And also compact enough to fit in a small tool pack.The battery life is good. I had spare batteries and a Bosch multi tool so did not need the charger etc. I also have an 18V version which is also great but a little to powerful for screwdriver work unless you are carefull.Great light, good settings for drilling, screwdriving and hammer. The surprise of the 10.8v is that it is also very good at hammer drilling so I can carry a light good all rounder in my tool pack.

Great little drill. Surprisingly powerful.Easily drills 30mm wide holes with my forstner or spade bits.Quieter than my 18v Bosch which is nice.I made a pocket/belt clip for it from 2mm spring steel wire. (1.5mm would be easier to work with though) since it seems only the more expensive brushless model has a Bosch-made clip. You can get a holster for this but I'm not a fan of those.I also bought a Wera 052502 Rapidaptor bit holder for it. Adds a little length but makes it super fast to swap out bits with one hand, but still have the bits locked in place so they don't come out after you've screwed something in.

Excellent grip and lightweight. I found it very convenient because of its small size but at the same time powerful enough for most of the tasks. The hammer drill action isn't mighty but can be useful with some minor jobs (screwing into very though materials or drilling small holes into wall if not very tough). The GSB combi drill chuck/gear is also a little bit longer than in twin GSR model which may have its meaning in very tight places. Both models have battery level indicator which I found very practical.

I first used one of these ( a loaned one ) when working on site and was very impressed with it.It has a great feel to it ,well balanced and can be used in fairly small spaces .Power is very good in both screwdriving and drilling mode which seems to be a bit faster than some other makes I have used. I used to take a drill driver plus a drill with me on jobs but now I just use this as it has plenty of torque settings available.I would recommend this drill to anyone - excellent kit !

I’m a self employed electrician, I work on price most of the time.We have a lot of screws to wind in and out and this tool is ideal, with its torque settings, dual speed and perfect fit in the hand.There isn’t much second fix work it isn’t ideal for!My first one is still going strong after 10 years,which isn’t bad as some days it barely gets put down.It’s a tool you really can just take for granted

The drill very well built, no chuck wobble whatsoever. Feels very well balanced and just the right weight. Powerful impact feature that drill thru with ease on my walls even though my concrete drill bit is quite old. Just got the drill so can't test the battery endurance just yet. All i can say is Bosch never let me down once!!! Everything works and looks great

This a surprisingly powerful tool despite its 10.8v power train & its size, I now can leave my much bigger 18v drill/driver & impact driver whenever I'm doing more medium sized work. Trust me, it handles large drilling (be it concrete or wood) jobs but to ensure long life especially on the batts, its best to use it for medium work, money well spent here.

Excellent product. I bought it mainly to use as a power driver. First used it to assemble a set of Ikea office furniture and it did the job perfectly and the battery was still showing full when I'd finished. Slightly bulkier than I would have liked just for a power driver but I couldn't find anything better at a reasonable price and of decent quality.

Ideal drill driver for DIY. For confined space working use, it is very good. Lighter than any full sized equivalent unit, it can tackle most drill driver jobs around the home and workshop. Battery life is exceptional with a quick recharge time. Build quality is excellent. Overall a great addition to my power tool kit.

superb product. Better than expected at both drilling into brick and general screwing work including furniture. The small size suggest something sluggish, but don't be fooled. This is not designed to replace your SDS for concrete, but for general jobs around the house, excellent !Very highly recommended.

This small drill meets almost every specification it got. Only the drilling performance in masonry seems to be weaker than stated. Therefore I give it 4 and not 5 stars.The tool is pleasant to use and due to its small design and light weight, you can also use it over a longer period with your weak hand.

Very good service, it arrived on the 18th January 2016. I'm very pleased with the cordless drill and it's accessory's. I have since added the Bosch GDR impact driver to fit in the nice case supplied with the GSB cordless drill. I'm very pleased with the case full of equipment. Thank you very much.

WowJust fab. Lovely chuck. Great weight. Great control provided. Good size. Great box. I have only used it once and I may be entirely wrong due to the time I charged it but my impression at least was that the battery would not last a very long time. Maybe 20 mins of continual drilling

A brilliant drill/driver, robustly manufactured, with good battery life and power even though it runs on 10.8v batteries. I bought this to replace an old DeWalt drill and wanted something compact for lighter drilling tasks and use as a driver, and this is more than up to the task.
