This cordless drill kit, takes the hard work out of hunting them drill bits you need for any job, or even the different screw driver bits needed to for all types of screws, because they are all there neatly in their own place in the lid of the drill case. Comes complete with 2 batteries and a fast charger. It is well balanced when holding in your hand. The only thing I would have placed differently is the forward and reverse switch, with being left-handed. I put it in reverse when holding it.

Since buying this drill, I've been using it nearly every day.The obvious bonus being the two batteries.One on charge while using the other.This lasts nearly a day on the work I use it for.(One battery a day)Around 100 long screws or a few hours of hard drilling (with or without the hammer action).The various bits and pieces that come with it are a good variety of the basics and make for a good set.Sturdy case to store it all in as well.For the price? Yes, definitely worth it.

Really good entry level Makita Drill package. Will make a really good christmas present for anyone who has just bought a home, leaving for uni, or is starting out on their DIY journey. Makita is used as an industry standard by many trades throughout the world, with a reputation for reliability and ease of use.The extras included in this set cover a multitude of fixit occasions, just right for a startup package covering wood, metal and brick. I am very happy with this housewarming gift.

Very nice looking drill which comes with a spare battery and enough drill bits and accessories to satisfy most DIY enthusiasts, and all in one case. Only used 3 times so I can't provide a long term review. Suffice to say that so far it has performed well without any problems. Drilling, screwdriving and hammer action, plus reverse. Makita is a well known name and though it seems expensive, you get a lot with it. I would have liked to have had an led light built in but this is a minor issue.

Great little that does what a normal drill will do, screw driver, drill, and hammer action, haven’t found a wall it won’t drill in to.On a down side the attachments that come with are good but the ABS plastic that they are held in place with is rock hard, and makes getting a drill or driver piece out difficult.I think Makita missed a trick by not fitting a tiny LED light to it, it’s always useful when using the tool in a dark cupboard.

This variable trigger speed hammer/screwdriver drill is from one of the top makers of power tools.Weighty and well made drill with a really good selection of drill bits and screwdriver/sockets that the average do-it yourselfer will need.With a good selection of tourque settings for most jobs,this drill is versatile.Another plus is the addition of 2 batteries that charge in about an hour.An excellent drill in a very strong toolbox.

I've been considering a new drill for a few months now, and I've taken the plunge and bought myself this makita drill with accessories and I can honestly so I don't regret it it's light powerful and a bit for every job, I put the kids bunk beds together in minutes last night and got a few other jobs done too, I would strongly recommend this drill to anyone looking for a drill to do that DIY around the house ?????

I’m not a D.I.Y. expert but needed a drill strong enough to drill through concrete blocks. Decided to buy the more expensive and well known brand. I’m so glad I did, I managed to get all holes drilled with both batteries, such a bonus to have a spare one, and the drill bit looks like it still has plenty of life left in it. Only had to wait an hour to charge a battery for screwing purposes. Highly recommended

What can I say it's a Makita, Rolls Royce of drills. Superb design does what it says on the tin.Bit pricey but when you add the accessories pack and think how much extra they would cost it's not bad . Had other makes of drill in the past but the batteries don't last . With Makita new batteries are easily available . It's a really powerful drill well up to the task .looking forward to many years of use .

This drill is more powerful than I could have hoped for, the batteries have a good life and don't take that long to charge. I have red brick walls in my house which as you may know are hard to drill into, not with this drill, yes a sharp drill bit helps but so does a drill powerful enough to do the job with, and this drill fits the bill, absolutely superb, I would definitely recommend this item.

This is a replacement, and as it is a newer version I was very impressed with the features. Twin batteries that are streamline look a lot better and make the drill lighter in use and produce ample power. Drill itself is very versatile for all amateur uses including drilling and as screwdriver. The bonus is it comes with a great set of tools. Looking forward to putting it to good use.

I was hinting at a drill for a present from family members for years but it never came so decided if I was going to buy one I’d spend a bit of money to get a decent one. And I wasn’t disappointed with this. As a single mum it’s made my life 100x easier and I’ve made a fence with gate and compost box and set up new climbing frame all very easily as well as other miscellaneous.

Brilliant set!Easy to use and keep thanks to the case which seems sturdy and durable.Perfect for DIY at home and for all the little jobs one would want to do himself.Wouldn't know yet about battery usage and the it's a bit tricky to put the drill heads back in place in the case compartment but altogether extremely pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend it.

Bought this drill to replace a similar Bosch drill which proved to have a very unreliablep keyless chuck. From the outset the Bosch allowed drill bits to slip when in use.I have only used the Makita a couple of times so far but it was drilling through a trick alloy and did the job fine. makita has a good reputation but time will tell if the chuck is reliable.

This package has all an average DIYer needs. The provision of two batteries is useful so that there's always one charged if you manage it right. I needed a more powerful machine to drill into the engineering bricks used for our Edwardian house walls - my old less powerful machine just couldn't do it. This one does the job nicely. It's a decent piece of kit.
