Bought this for my partner as he had been going on about it for months and I'm glad I did. It's not to heavy and the design and features are great. He's had other drills in the past which was a lot more money but this one is the best by far. He loves it that much he gets it out of the box every day, even if their is nothing to do he will find something to the point where he will take something apart just to put it back together, keeps him happy and quiet which is a bonus for me, money well spent

This drill is cordless and thus no cables are in the way! It is rather a small /medium size drill and it is very handy for all DIY tasks around the house. What I like about it is many settings to adjust it based on purpose. There are 10 levels by a handy dial setting. Forward/Backward spin options are there for using it as a screwdriver. The battery looks good as I charged it last week and still I could use it this week with no re-charge. Good option if you want a small/medium cordless drill.

The carry case is compact but not all of the accessories have an obvious home. The battery has to be removed to fit in and takes up to 4 hours to charge, it seems to last well though, but with only 1 it's not for a large project. It feels light yet robust and packs enough power to drive a 3" x10 screw into wood, the hammer action is relatively light so may struggle in really solid walls, it did struggle with a 64mm hole saw through wood. Good for general DIY duties like putting up shelves etc.

I was not to sure how this drill would look and feel as I haven't purchased a black and decker tool in years, but I'd noticed that black and decker have had a refurb with there brand so I was keen to try this out. Once unpacked I quickly loved the whole look and design of the drill and how solid and it looked. It only took a few hours to charge fully and it was raring to go. Comes complete with wood drill bits driver bits and others. I would highly recommend this drill very good for the price.

I purchased this Black + Decker 18v Cordless Hammer Drill to help errect the wooden frame of a garden shed. The drill, and in the hammer mode can also drill masonary. I had no problem driving 400 x 5mm x 80mm and 100 x 5 x 100mm wood screws. If your planning to do lots of work I'd suggest purchasing an additional battery. A great DIY tool, not as powerful as another drill / drive I was also using however at less that half the price it's value for money and a prety useful tool around the home.

Good drill, power levels etc. Some of the controls are fiddly. Argos says it comes with a selection of drill bits so you can get straight on with your diy task. However none of the bits supplied are for drilling into masonry. The case is filled with many plastic moulded ridges, it is hard to put items back in. There is no illustration / guide on the case. If bits fall out when you first open it as they did with us, it becomes a crystal maze challenge to figure out how to put things back in.

This drill is light in the hand and plenty powerful enough for the average diy person. I’ve drilled through some quite difficult metal bar to make some supports. The black and decker battery lasts very well. Quick to charge up. I have several b and d tools and use the same battery throughout. Ideal as a second drill to avoid changing drills with driver bits. Really happy with the product and the Argos service in Sainsbury’s Weymouth. Quick safe and efficient in these difficult times.

A very light weight and compact drill which is handy for general use around the house. The battery is powerful and long lasting which means you can use the drill for all sorts of drilling and driving jobs. Its easy to change the drill/driver bits as well as the battery. Comes with a handy set of bits and a case for safe storage. I used it to put up LED outdoor wall lights and it performed really well and with ease. Deffinately recommend it due to its power and lightweight. Can’t go wrong.

My previous electric screwdriver packed up so had to renew. While browsing, I noticed that cordless dril/drivers were not a lot more than ordinary electric screwdrivers. After much looking l settled on the Black and Decker item. Not too expensive and 18v more powerful than a 12v. This has added benefits of a hammer action, 2 speeds, 9 torque settings and reverse speed. Several screwdriver bits and drills included which is a nice touch. Battery charging seems to be pretty quick too.

My expectations weren’t particularly high for a relatively low powered drill but I must give credit where it’s due. This drill is perfectly sized for those little DIY jobs around the home and can more than adequately cope with masonry jobs and wood jobs alike. It’s compact size is excellent for tightening screws and the adjustable torque means you won’t over tighten screws. From first charge the battery has lasted me a good few hours and I expect it’ll be good for a few other small jobs.

Good enough for setting up furniture and the like but not really powerful enough to drill into walls. Bit annoying that the drill comes in a decent case but the drill bits are just in a small plastic bag so will rattle around inside case. Would not have taken much to properly secure them. Has 1-10 speed settings but honestly they all seem exactly the same. Battery doesn’t last very long. OK value for money, but I should have spent more and got something with more torque.

My son had borrowed my combi drill and was hanging on to it despite a few reminders, so I bought him this Black and Decker 18V drill. He's not massively in to DIY and therefore I didn't want to over spend on something that might get little use, but equally wouldn't break after a couple of uses. This drill was competitively priced, with enough features to cover most DIY tasks. Whilst it only has one battery, it's rating is superior to most of the competitors at this price point.

Black ; Decker BCD700S1KA Hammer Drill with Battery - 18VWhen I brought that item I did not realise that there was accessories in it like drill bits which was a big shock Good One.This is the Best Drill I ever had for the Price very good charged it up once I'm still last for over a week I use put up CCTV & Alarm Equipment and the drills got a hammer unit so it goes through the wall quite nice and got the screw function make it quick up equipment up.Love for price

Having previously used corded drills before this is a delight to use in my rented property with limited plug sockets. The battery charges in 2 hours and fits in easily.The case is durable but fiddly to get components back it correctly hence the 4stars for this.The drill is comfortable to use, being left handed this can be a problem sometimes. Features include screwdriver attachments, forward and reverse plus adjustable torque. Never had his before. A great product

Good looking design, comes with a carry-case with room for an extra lithium battery and any other attachments. The extra drill bits and screws also included but not much of a selection. The drill itself is easy to use, change torque settings for whatever task required with a quick twist. Only thing I would've liked to have seen is some type of screw/drill bit extension included, for those hard to reach places and better versatility. Overall a solid purchase!
