I bought this on daily deals and it arrived this morning, luckily prior to me putting my make-up on. I love the metallic green colour of the casing of this chunky mascara. The shape of the case makes it easy to hold and to apply.I was a bit surprised at the chunkiness (biggest I’ve seen!) of the hour-glass shaped brush inside when I opened it, but as I prefer thicker brushes for a good application, rather than thin twig-like brushes it pleased me.The mascara is easy to apply and does not clump at all! I curled my lashes as I always do prior to application and I had no trouble applying two coats of this lovely mascara.

After hearing my friends positive comments I thought this would be a great product to buy however I'm one of those people who prefers not to spend over £5 on a piece of makeup. After looking at Boots and Superdrugs prices I wanted to buy this mascara from Amazon due to the price being the lowest. The product came 6 days later in perfect condition. The mascara brush and handle are quite big however I myself prefer a chunky product as it is easier to use. The catch phrase is "wake me up" and it really does wake me up, helping my eyes to feel bright eyed through out the day (especially if I have to get up early in the morning). My other question that I think about with mascara is how long does it last when putting it on.

A bit big and clunky in size, especially as age is thinning my eyelashes, like all the rest of my body hair, and positioning it so I can see what I'm doing with now such sparse lashes isn't helpful . My eyes are far more sensitive these days, what with loosening muscles in the eye zone that now bulge where no bulge should be, and grit gets snagged in the wrinkles, the drying that comes with age and causes irritation and so rubbing which only makes things worse, things which nobody ever cares to mention and one discovers through experience.The wand is a useful shape and it is not clumping yet, but I always find that happens most with old mascaras, not new ones.

Already use a Rimmel waterproof mascara, have tried other makes and expensive ones but back to Rimmel for quality and price.Do suffer with sensitive eyes and skin and did wonder if the cucumber might be a little too much but actually quiet pleasant and no itchy eyes.No clumps just nice defined lashes. The shaped brush took a couple of goes to get used to, usually just have the normal wand shape. Bit like a big one with the middle squeezed in. The handle of it quite chunky so easy to grip if you have any problems with hands like OA in thumbs etc like myself. So for me a big easy to open mascara that is easy to hold onto too.Only a couple of coats needed for a nice full lash effect and no smudging later in the day,

This is a very reasonably priced mascara which covers the eyelashes well. It dries quickly and lasts about 8 hrs without looking clumped or clogged.First off the brush - it is shaped, as described as an hour glass and I found that this did help with getting at the tiny lashes in the corner - but it is a big brush with a long stem and this handle and I found that holding it in a comfortable position took some practice.Secondly, The mascara itself is enriched with vitamins which gives it a fresh smell, I found it wet at first but this was more to do with not being use to such a thick brush and not being precise enough when applying. Once on, it stays put,

As always Rimmel offers good value for money and this is no exception. The mascara goes on easily and I did not find it clumped at all. Application is a little unusual with the hour-glass shaped wand which presumably is supposed to allow you to apply the mascara to all lashes simultaneously allowing for the curve of your eyelid. Unnecessary perhaps. I gave two coats to each eye and the result was clean and natural, but this does not have a curl effect (tongs still needed!). Nevertheless it does look good and lasts.I like the vibrant lime-green colour too which makes it easy to spot your mascara in a jumble of make-up (thinking of my own cosmetics purse!). There is indeed a surprisingly natural cucumber scent to it,

Rimmel has always been a decent and affordable brand and this mascara does not let it down. I found it easy to apply and it did not leave my lashes clumpy or crispy feeling. After a full day of wearing it, it was not flaking like some other mascaras do. The wand is great, the shape makes it easy to apply mascara without creating big clumps and I found it to be one of the better mascara wansa I have used. I will continue to use this wand - with other good mascaras, the wand has let them down and I have ended up washing a great wand and using that instead! A really good budget buy.

I have very dark eyelashes so do not really need to wear mascara, but I like the definition you get when wearing it. I can not stand clumping or false eyelash effect mascara - I just want to look natural, so this mascara is a hit for me.The hourglass shaped applicator enabled definition without clumps and my eyes did not feel tired or tingly when wearing it. It looks good, feels good and is a good. product - the downside for me is the huge and garish bottle - massive in fact and does not fit in my makeup bag.

My girlfriend usually uses the Benefit Mascara which costs £19.99 but has recenty gone up to £22.99. She therefore was looking for a replacement product and gave this Rimmel product a test which is around a quarter of the price, her opinion was... 'It's great, the brush is very good, the mascara is smooth and easy to put on, leaves a very strong result and definitely spread my lashes with no gunk at all'. Therefore good value, does the job and a good brand so no reasons not to strongly recommend.

Bought as lightning deal. Goes on well, I use 2 coats and don't have any problems with clumping. The cucumber scent is actually rather pleasant and disappears as soon as the mascara dries. The lack of a 5 star is because the brush is such a stupid shape - the first couple of times I used it, I managed to poke my eye. Now I tend to use one end rather than the whole brush. Can't see why they have made such a weird design, it doesn't make it better! Probably won't buy again because of the brush.

I really like this mascara. It goes on easily with no clumping and stays on all day. I can't say I have noticed any feeling of more nourished lashes if I'm honest, but then am not sure what that would feel like! I can also say that I haven't noticed and lengthening effects either, but that could be just me.It also comes off easily at night, which is a great bonus, as some makes really don't!As a mascara - I love it. As something new and different - I haven't noticed that.

Rimmel have come so far with their mascaras these days, I'm totally blown away with this mascara in particular.This mascara wand is what really creates the definition of full lashes. It's brilliant! It's not clumpy and there is plenty of mascara in the tube.It's also conditioning and not a dry mascara like some other brands. It is an absolute steal at this price too! (£5.99)I will without doubt recommend this to all my friends!

Great mascara, really good price and smells amazing. bought thanks to the other great reviews, doesn't make my eyes sting after application like some other i've had. smells so lovely like cucumber, very fresh and nice in the morning.A little too wet when applying but i find this problem when all mascaras are new, always better after a few weeks use.The brush is great, nice coverage and no clumps. would buy again

Great mascara was skeptical about it as can be fussy on mascaras with the finishing look but this is far is good. Hasn't clumped or left panda eyes and goes on really well. Can't say I noticed too much of a smell but maybe that's just me and it hasn't made me feel more awake either haha. Wand is a nice size and gets all the lashes doesn't put to much product on as some do. No complaints and brilliant price.
