I absolutely love this range of lipstick and buy it over and over. It's a real surprise because I don't associate Rimmel brand with best product. I would normally put Rimmel in the lower end of the high street brands but it just goes to show that price isn't everything. This is better than some of the best expensive luxury brands. It really works! I've been wearing the red called 'Kiss me you fool' for several years and it's my favourite. I took a bit of a gamble on the Berry Seductive which is red but not as much as it looks on the tube. It's slightly more subtle. These lipsticks come as a liquid with a sponge applicator on one end and the clear overcoat on the other end.

This is a double ended product with 4ml lip colour at one end, and 3ml finisher at the other. The lip colour claims 16 hours life, and is very liquid.The test colour Not Guilty 410 is dark and dramatic, not as dark as some of the currently fashionable lip colours which can look like you've been in a fight and come off worst. Out of the bottle there is a hint of blue/purple giving a deep rather than pinky red. It seems much darker on the lips than in the container. It does need very careful application- not some thing to apply in poor light or with a shaky hand. The fixer is transparent and viscous- gloop comes to mind. It has a slightly artificially scented smell/taste.

This one fits the pattern exactly, it being of good quality, doing what it claims, and having the right price in its marketplace.This lipstick is a vivid red liquid, which is applied with an applicator. The applicator is not quite so easy to use as a solid stick while bouncing around on the bus, but the applicator enables much more accurate placement to get the exact shape you want. I read in one of the reviews that the color did not come off even after food, sleep etc. So I had to do just that to be sure of it :) I did a lot of research to look for a long lasting color that did not burn a hole in my pocket. The packaging I must say was the most horrible ever from amazon. I ordered 3 other items and the things almost fell out of the box which wasnt even taped well. Anyways glad I got them all.The color is lovely. It is a shade of brown with a very light tinge of red. You MUST apply the color and then the balm on the other end of the stick which is more like a sealant. I never knew liquid lipsticks could actually stay on . and you bet it stayed.

All the lipsticks my wife has tried recently have been trending towards moisturising without the power to stay on all day. This is fine, but it's nice to see one that bucks the trend and aims for full on staying power, though there is a balm as part of the gloss, which I'll get on to.The Not Guilty colour Provocalips is a very deep red, great for night time or formal events as well as creating a slightly different look to the usual brighter shades. One side of the lipstick has the colour and the other side has a gloss to lock it in. You can actually feel the colour side drying on your lips before applying the gloss, which also acts as a balm to prevent them drying out too much,

Update April 2017): i have upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars. My eldest daughter (early 20's) tried this out and loved it so bought herself one and 3 of her friends really liked the colour on her and have now also bought it. They all think it is great for the price and would not normally buy Rimmel (Mac, Urban Decay, benefit are their preferred brands) - a big hit with that age bracket.I got this in the Provoca colour which on opening is a deep burgundy red. There is a sponge topped applicator and the colour is deep and rich but the formula is quite sticky (like lip colour tends to be). It isn't the colour I would wear everyday - I would have preferred a more true red than a burgundy tint for my pale skin colour (but did not know the colour befrore hand).

One of the few liquid lips I have tried that actually stay on. Super impressed. Yes, it does feel a little odd at first - drying, slightly although the balm can be applied to moisten the lips. This one in particular was super. A deep velvety vampy dark crimson and it didn't budge for hours and dark shades like this are difficult for me to wear because they usually bleed or smear but it was perfect. It does however begin to come away gradually - I noticed eating food with sauces tended to make the centre of the colour wear away, as did drinking. It was about 8 hours when I saw it begin to come off, not sixteen, but I'm still utterly impressed.One thing I will say though this actually hugs every curve and crease in the lips and makes them look a little more obvious.

From past experience, liquid lipstick tends not to stay on too well, but I am pleased to say that this actually works very well. I received a deep, rich, burgundy red and it is a lovely shade. One end of the lipstick contains the colour and the other half is to 'lock and shine.' This contains a balm to stop your lips drying out and to lock the colour in. For once, this works!Normally, I find that liquid lipsticks disappear much faster than those applied normally. This stayed on at work all day without needing to be reapplied. Even at the end of the day, there was colour visible. However, this does leave a little colour even when you remove your make up. So,

This is the best lipstick I have ever used. I've had many 'stay on' lipsticks, but all have lasted a maximum of 2-3 hours before fading - This does not. I can apply this in a morning, and although it begins to dry out after 6 hours or so, it still doesn't fade or come off. Just reapply the gloss coat and it will last another 6 hours. I have worn it for work, forgotten to remove it, gone to bed and woken up the next day with it still on and in place, to the point where you could probably get away with not reapplying it again! Totally kiss proof, doesn't come off when you eat or drink, absolutely amazing. The range of colours is great. My favourite is 'Kiss Me You Fool' which is a really bright shade of pillarbox red.

After receiving Rimmel Provocalips Play Fire as a gift, I ordered Kiss Fatal as I'd been so impressed with the product. Both colours are beautiful, rich and strong with complete coverage.To apply, firstly you paint the colour side on, then go over it with the gloss on the other end. The colour dries quickly and is like a lip stain, and the gloss feels so nice, not too sticky and has a lovely mild scent.I have worn both for 6-8 hours and each has lasted well, and they are easily touched up. I did find that the Kiss Fatal needed touching sooner, after that amount of time it had faded near the inside of the lip.

This lipstick is amazing for staying power - it has lasted all day/night of working, eating and even kissing (I have been told). The trick is to apply it properly and it will love you long time: ensure your lips are dry to begin with, free from make-up creams and residue etc, it goes on like paint so take your time with the application. Once it is in place, it will be fixed and the gloss seals it nicely over the top. If you eat oily meals, the product on the inner lips will come off, or if you use some other gloss. Oil de-bonds this lipstick, so only use the gloss provided at the other end which is water-based. The lipstick comes off with a nice dose of coconut oil and wet cotton wool pad.

I love lipsticks, I'm obsessed with lipstick. I have over 60 lipsticks and I've also tried lots of long lasting ones and this one is by far the best. Like all long wear lipsticks it is quite drying but not as much as others I've tried. I'd say the colour can last longer than 16 hours if your lips arent dry and flaky and you keep using a balm throughout the day. It's so difficult to remove at night, I literally have to scrub my lips for ages with a baby wipe (which in my opinion is a good thing). One thing I will say is that I cant use this in a bold colour as I find it fades from my inner lip, but I do think that's to do with the way my bottom lip is,

Absolutely great product from Rimmel of London and what a delightful price at this rate I can experience a few colours.I've tried and tested this product Rimmel Berry to the full and can honestly say it just doesn't move off your lips regardless of how much I've eaten and drank all day long, unbelievable but true.2 in one ,the lipstick and then the lock and shine and very moisturising and gentle to your lips.So easy and gentle to apply it simply glides without any pulling, Great for getting going without any messing.This is a lovely shade of red without being to bright and I'm definitely going to highly recommend this brilliant lipstick and lock and shine without a doubt.Absolutely brilliant

Fabulous fun packaging and tube which we love! Nice touch with the little lips plastered over the tube! Product itself is lush, glides on a treat and very easily, allow to dry (count a few seconds) and good to go, we had 2 x cups of coffee in the morning and lips still stained a lovely berry red, didn't completely survive lunch however, but thats fair enough, a quick top up application saw the colour stay in place until early evening! I would recommend as it really does stay in place, would query the claim of 16 hours, but its lasted pretty much all day bar a little refresh and I think thats pretty darn good, especially for the very budgetable price tag.
