The bottle looks funky, but unfortunately, the appearance is slightly better than the product itself. The brush is pretty thin on bristles, which I'm not used to in the 'voluminous' range of mascara products (I'm used to only needing one coat with those), so I needed two coats to build up and even out my (already black) lashes. The brush clumps a little at the bottom, which doesn't help, so the lip of the bottle gets tatty quickly. And, the mascara is a lot more watery than the 'voluminous' ranges, so there's not as much build-up as I'd have liked, even with two coats. I'd call this a budget, day-time mascara, as for night, I like the 'Cleopatra' look more, which this doesn't deliver.This does have lasting power - 5hrs in hot,

My partner has short lashes because she had chemotherapy treatment 5 years ago and her lashes have never grown back to their original length.So she was keen to try this out, but ‘if you have short eyelashes and its clumpy you might as well not bother’. So a critical and edge-case that will prove if this mascara is up to it!She has been wearing this mascara for a few weeks before this review.It is long lasting, doesn’t clump as much as other mascaras, and more importantly, it can be built up with multiple layers as it doesn’t clump. Im quite funny about mascaras as i think a lot of them have huge marketing claims but they just dont look any different from the other mascaras! This is a nice black mascara, it has quite a fat brush that looks like most other mascara brushes. It goes on easily and doesnt clump. I dont think it makes my eyelashes any diffeerent from any other mascaras to be honest and i prefer a slimmer brush so it wont be replacing my regular mascara. It does however have one interesting point, you can keep on adding extra layers and it doesnt clump. Im not sure it looks much different with the extra layers but it doesnt clump so thats a positive in my book. I hate clumpy eyelashes,

This comes in quite a chunky bottle. It has a quite wide fat brush which I like in a mascara. The consistency is quite loose and I was hoping that this did not leave great heavy coverage on my eyelashes. It didn't.This goes on well leaving your eyelashes look long but natural. You can build up coats to give a fuller effect.It is easy to correct mistakes as it does indeed come off skin easily using a cotton bud.I can't really say I would use this mascara at night for a really lush look, . Because in my opinion this looks so natural that it makes a perfect day mascara. It does indeed last very well and even survived a shower with no Ill effects.I'm not sure that the name Scandal Eyes suits this mascara.I don't think it's very 'scandalous'

With the bright orange packaging and the name, 'Scandaleyes,' this mascara promised an awful lot. In reality, it is a fairly normal product and you do need more than one layer of mascara to really get any depth of colour. That said, the brush is small enough to get into the corners of your eyes without smudging the product everywhere - as I often manage to do with thicker, fuller brushes. I also liked the colourful packaging - not sure why it is always mascara which comes in bright yellow, orange or red now - but this is certainly easy to find.If you are looking for a very, very dark, full look, then this may disappoint. However, it is certainly a reasonable mascara. I did not find any clumping,

I had quite a shock with this mascara, it is one of the chunkiest mascaras I have ever held and used. Surprisingly for such a thick brush it is easy to apply and there is absolutely no sticking or clumping. For that reason alone this gets my vote as I normally pay twice as much for a decent mascar but still cannot acoid some clumpling on application no matter how careful I am.I applied this before going out this morning as it still looks as good eight hours later, I applied two coats for a slightly thicker effect and I am really pleased with the overall effect. A really good mascara at a very reasonable price, and yes I would but this again and I am not normally a Rimmel fan but imprerssed.

I agree with other reviewers that several coats are needed to max out lashes and with careful layering, the final look is great with no clumping. Be sure not to let the coats dry between applying as then the mascara will clump and you will need to start again. When it dries it looks pretty hot and really does last all day even in hot weather. This will give you great, longer, thicker natural-looking lashes but if you are looking for dramatic, jet black colour and rockin' lift'n'curl then look elsewhere. Mascara junkies however, will love this product. Never Go Naked ;)

As I have long eye lashes I like a good volume building mascara that won't make my eye lashes look like spiders legs.This mascara has a good, fat brush with bristles. I dislike those silicone brush heads you get on some mascaras.I wasn't expecting much from this Rimmel mascara but I'm pleasantly surprised with the results. It gives my eye lashes a good amount of volume and it's easy to apply. It also does smudge when I exercise.For the price this is great. It's not as good as my favourite Benefit Bad Gal but for everyday wear this one does the job.

This product does exactly what it says on the tube - it provides plumpness, length and definition on both the top and bottom lashes. The straight brush makes application a simple process without any overt clumping. I wear glasses to correct short sightedness and as a consequence, my eyes can look a little small and squints, so a decent mascara is a must.The price is great; in my opinion Rimmel sell fantastic cosmetics at a very reasonable amount. I'd recommend it. Removal was simple too with a suitable product.

This is a great value "everyday" mascara which went on well - no clumps, smudges or smears. One coat was enough for a simple day time look, and a second coat added more definition for a more made up look.It lasts very well - 12 hours - without any of those tell tell grains gathering under the eyes, or specks on my glasses, and yet was easy to remove with cotton wool and water.Certainly the performance is as good as my usual - and much more expensive - Clinique mascara, and will probably replace it.

According to my wife, there is a constant hunt for a good, if not perfect mascara. Although apparently there are times only waterproof will do.So I handed this to her to review (her thoughts)‘I won’t lose this!’ – (it’s bright orange) and it keeps our 18 month old occupied whilst I put my makeup on in the morning. Like most mascaras I’ve owned it requires a few applications but its never clumpy and doesn’t feel so either.The results are very good.It’s also very easy to remove with wipes.

Usually buy "RIMMEL" when I need a mascara. Not too expensive and never had me disappointed. Easy to apply,none irritating,stays on well but also comes off easy enough when removing make up.They usually last long and get even better after a while (can be slightly too "runny" at first) also like the fact it has a real brush for an appliicator - I just don't get on well at all with the more new types of silicone bristled applicators.

The product was used and tested by my wife whose comments and feedback were used as the basis for this review.Have several Rimmel products and am very happy with them. Comes as a chunky tube and slightly oversized brush, the brush is very easy to apply the mascara and does not lead to any clumping. The coverage is thorough and for my dark lashes I require only one application, to allow an excellent finish. Reccomend.

This is a chunky bottle and a wide brush which personally I like. I found the consistency thick and hoped it wouldn't leave big clumps on lashes, I'm pleased to say it didn't. It gave a very good coverage and was natural looking, you can build up until you get the desired look. It does last all day and nothing flaked off on my face like some do. I really like this mascara and will definitely be purchasing more.
