[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this mascara on with no other makeup and my husband thought I was wearing false lashes. I have long lashes however this definitely made an impact! When I looked at the wand the bristles weren’t like what they looked like in the shop- obviously it was dry because it was the display one- I just expected the bristles to look more ‘bristley’ but on application it still separates most of my lashes so they don’t go all clumpy because I can’t stand when it looks like you’re wearing mascara.. I prefer them to look darker and thicker in a natural way and this definitely does that!

I ordered this for myself after reading the good reviews and also it was at sale price and I have always liked rimmel products. The mascara does definitely make my lashes look longer and it doesn't seem to clump at all which is great, I find that it is long wearing and no smudges. But the only downfall is the amount of product that comes out on the wand, it's just far far to much I have to wipe the wand with a tissue everytime which is a massive waste but I don't want all that mascara going on at once. The bottle should have a slimmer neck so some of the excess product is wiped off which is what most mascaras have, shame really it would have been ok if not for that problem, too much waste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this mascara for a few weeks now and I am really loving this product. I have naturally long eyelashes, however, I struggle to find a mascara that really accentuates my lashes. The brush on this mascara helps to grab all of the small and corner lashes to really show case my eyes. It’s doesn’t rub on to my skin during the day leaving any annoying black marks which is a must from a mascara. I am a huge fan of an extreme black mascara as I think anything less isn’t noticeable the pigment in this mascara is great and it’s a really dark true black.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this ‘Rimmel Volume Flash x10 Mascara Black Extreme 1’ last week and have been in love with it ever since. The product is super easy to use, hold and apply. The mascara gives your eyelashes a fuller and thicker look with up to ten times the volume in an instant. Which is amazing! The formula is perfect as it’s not too watery or thick. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone who loves a little bit of mascara or false eyelashes as this gives exactly that effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been really impressed with this mascara , firstly i think the brush is good, its a traditional brush but isnt too big or too small. It allows just the right amount of mascara on the brush to coat the lashes . I was impressed with how much volume this created after just one coat! I noticed a big difference straight away and after a second coat my lashes were left looking thicker, longer and more volumised . The mascara dries quickly and lasts all day without smudging or flaking .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have shorter lashes like me these shorter bristles are great, they look weird at first but they actually do a better job of getting the whole lashes start to finish and are the fluffier type as opposed to the annoying silicone bristles you see everywhere (also means bottom lashes aren't left put and easier to do also). As for colour I wasn't the most impressed it had a greyish undertone so I do hope Rimmel get the shade right for future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new mascara so thought i would try the volume flash extreme black. The wands bristles are quite small and i was concerned the mascara wouldnt apply well as the mascara is very thick, but i was suprised! I only needed to apply the mascara once and my eyelashes was voluminous and strikingly black. I had a long day and the mascara was on for 14hours and it still looked as good as i had applied at the start of the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Volume Flash X 10 Mascara - Extreme is a great mascara the wand inside of it grabs enough product to evenly spread onto the lashes. The actual texture of the product isn't too thick and is very light. The final effect you get with the product is a lovely false eye lash look and a lovely long lashes which last all day. It's easy to remove with makeup remover I would definitely purchase this product again.

This mascara is actually smaller than I thought it would be when it was received. About 3/4 the size of the normal sized mascara however it has lasted a very long time. Its lovely and just coats your eyelashes perfectly with out clumping or going everywhere. It is extremely black and highlights your eyes dramatically so although smaller than expected I will be buying this again over any other mascara I have used. Definitely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this mascara as I haven't had a new mascara for ages, I was really impressed with how easily it went onto my eye lashes giving them an intense look which gradually built up as I added more layers , super impressed with how dark my lashes went and the overall look was long fluttery lashes with hardly any clumps! Would recommend this mascara!

Over the years I have purchased this several times. i have also used other brands and they vary in quality and price. Although I like this one, as I have aged, my eyelashes have become thinner and I now have to use a lash primer with all brands of mascara...when I do, this mascara is as good as ever. I do think though unless you have the luxury of thick lashes, th addition of a primer primer always works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use nars climax mascara but it is expensive so I wanted to see if I could find a good alternative for a cheaper price and I wasnt disappointed by this mascara! It gave great volume and good length and didn't clump together when layering on. It is quite a small, silicone type applicator which is nice too. I would recommend this mascara!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love! This mascara does exactly what is says on the tin, My lashes have so much more volume! They are thicker too. I put two layers on and they layered up really well. No clumping. I usually have to use at least two different mascaras to achieve this but not any more thanks to this mascara! It's now a permanent in my makeup bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this mascara! It's replaced my all time favourite. The wand is like nothing I've come across before, I love it. It's kind of feathery, rather than bristles. Makes it so easy to apply, and didn't get no product on my top lid. Lasts amazingly, didn't smudge, didn't flake, and very buildable. Highly recommend.

I really like this mascara but I was expecting the 'black' mascara in a red bottle but instead received 'extreme black' which comes in a black bottle. I don't understand why I received the wrong one, so just be careful you get the one that you want. I think perhaps the colour was listed as black and was showing the red bottle but in the description is the word 'extreme'.
