I received this sponge and it's handy case about five weeks ago. I love the angles of the sponge! Nary a crevice is missed! Concealer is much easier to place along the curves of the nose and under the eye. I prefer to use the sponge dry. My favorite application could best be described as "finishing". I love to use a large complexion brush to place the foundation and then use the sponge to smooth everything into a flawless finish. Clean up is easy! One note of advice: Let the sponge dry before you place it into the carrying case. I'm notorious for a makeup bag full of broken shadows and lipsticks without lids. The case protects the sponge from my messy life and that is very appreciated!

The sponge is really nice and soft, it is pretty large, on the packaging they advise you that you should replace it in 1-3 months. It can be easily washed in lukewarm water with soap. It is ideal for touch-ups or on the go and for the precision blending, it can be used both wet or dry and can be used with creams, liquids or powders (concealer, highlighter, baking, blemishes...).When used dry with either liquid or powder foundation it gives you full coverage (dewy makeup look), and when used wet it gives you much lighter coverage for that makeup no-makeup look.I found out that you need to wet the sponge fully and then squeeze the excess liquid because otherwise,

I've been contemplating buying the miracle complexion sponge for a while when I received my sponge in the mail. This is a great sponge it blends like a dream, I love the flat surface to blend larger areas on the face and the pointier end to conceal. I don't use the sponge to contour I just don't see it as adequate enough in that department but I would, however, buy the value pack of 10 because I love how it blends the rest of my face/neck and that's extremely important to me, it doesn't leave my foundation splotchy. You already probably know this but DO NOT use this sponge with a heavy foundation, I used this sponge with a high end foundation that was liquid form and it stained it a bit,

For everyone who thinks the beauty blender is all you need your wrong this sponge is a can't live without it item. It is just a little firmer then the beauty blender and the sliced off end is wonderful for under the eyes and in the creases of your nose. Now for the holder, it keeps your sponge damp which I want, for someone who wants it to dry I have not found out how long that would take in the holder, I let it set out overnight and it was still damp. I like this for keeping it useful pulling it out of a makeup bag for a touch up is perfect for me it is ready to use still damp. It also sits out on my vanity the holder displays it and stops the sponge from rolling all about.

I received this from Real Techniques and tried it for two weeks. I even have the opportunity to travel with it on my vacation so I could test its travel capabilities! THIS is an amazing product! I loved everything about it! From the easy open packaging to the pretty orange travel container, everything was perfect. The complexion sponge is my favorite foundation blending tool ever! The travel container is so cute and keeps my sponge safe and secure during traveling and is also an awesome housing for the sponge to dry once cleaned! Absolutely perfect product and I am so happy to have this in my beauty tool collection! I give this the highest recommendation possible! Add it to your collection!

Using this sponge damp is a perfect way to achieve flawless looking results from any foundation. It makes your foundation look more natural, like it is real skin. It minimizes cakey looking foundation and helps to blend away any lines around the side of the face and the jawline. This sponge is really comparable to the beauty blender but is a fraction of the price! Makes applying my foundation quick and easy and I can always be guaranteed to get a really nice finish. Highly recommend!I love that the new version comes with a case so that it stays clean. It was the only issue i had before. Now i can leave it in the case without worrying about it getting dusty.

The best thing about this sponge is the case it comes in. My sponge always gets much dirtier when it’s in my make up bag but this protects it and makes it feel so much cleaner. Once you have the case you can buy the sponge in it’s own when it need replacing.It would be good if it came with tips on blending but YouTube videos will also do the trick. Always use this brand as the sponge is great quality and lasts a while. Much smoother application than the cheaper brands you can get.I used the mrs hinch trick to clean it: put it in a sock, tie it with a bobble and pop it in the washing machine with your clothes and it case up brand new.

I think Real Technique is a good dupe for Beauty Blender but def not the best one. It is a bit hard (not spongy) compared to the beauty blender and leaves a lot of foundation in the sponge- but good for sheer coverage. pros: inexpensive, multi purpose, flawless finish. cons: not too spongy, use a lot of foundationI like the travel case that comes with the sponge. However, I would love if it had some openings for the air to pass through so it could also be used as a drying tool. Overall a good value for the money. This complexion sponge is my go to for concealer, setting powder and is perfect for blending. I always recommend this sponge to my friends. The travel case is an added bonus. I try my best to clean my brushes and sponges once a week. Before having the travel case i would put my sponge back in with my other makeup and would notice makeup left over on the sponge would transfer on to my other makeup products. So having a case to put it in makes less cleanup for me. I love it and would highly recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
