I don't apply powder with sponges and used this one for stick makeup and creams, so if you're not looking for that in a review skip this one. This sponge can take the place of the brushes I use for my stick foundation and my cream blush, bronzer and highlighter. When I dampen it and bounce to apply the results are the same as the orange sponge, but it's better than the orange one when I swipe or buff. I have some stick and cream products that apply better swiped or buffed, and the orange sponge made them streaky so I used brushes. This sponge doesn't cause streaks, probably because it's fuzzy, so now can I use and wash less tools when I do my base.

Real Techniques New Foam Technology Miracle Powder Sponge for Even Powder Application is one sponge I know I will be purchasing again as never before have I found such an easy way of applying my mineral powder foundation. There is no spillages with this sponge plus it blends my makeup flawlessly meaning I have no powder sitting in my pores or even my fine lines or wrinkles. I get the perfect finish with this silky, velvety soft sponge and for me, it is the best applicator I have had the pleasure of using.From the first moment, I felt the soft texture and seeing how the powder clung to the sponge making it ideal for applying to my skin.A great product, happy to recommend.

This is a great little sponge which with it's unique texture makes powder cling to it which allows for a less messy make up application. I find with a make up brush my loose power gets everywhere and i get more on myself and the table than actually on my face but with this I've noticed instantly that it works better and with its contours it's much more precise as you apply the powder, rather than the brush which tends to puff it into my hair, into my eyebrows and eyelashes etc!!I'd definitely recommend, this is currently £5.99 and this can be used again and again with careful washing, I think this is a good investment for easier powder foundation application.

This powder sponge is topped with velvet finish which picks up powder quite easily and lays it onto the skin in a light finish. It can be used both wet or dry. It is amazing how you can use a wet sponge on a dry powder foundation without getting the powder wet because it has a velvety texture that just grabs the powder, and it gives a slightly dewier finish because the sponge is wet. This sponge is also ideal for baking, the rounded side is for blending and the pointier side is for smaller areas on the face.They advise replacing the sponge every three months based on the usage.I would definitely recommend this new sponge.

I have always used a brush to apply my powder but after using this sponge I am converted for life!Because the finish is a slight velvet it makes it easy to apply the powder with a wet or dry sponge and doesn't wet the powder meaning it was super easy to apply onto my face into get into all the nooks and crannies.Super soft on the skin and dries back into shape. It's easy to hold which makes application even easier.It's currently selling for £6.99 and I would more than happily pay that for this sponge in the future.

I’ve been a fan of Real Techniques make up sponges for a few years and this sponge specifically for powder application didn’t let me down. Sizing wise it’s the same size of their other standard applicators. The feel however, is more velvety and soft. It was perfect in being able to apply powder without smearing and it was easy to apply the powder accurately, in the intended spot. Powder clings to the sponge naturally making this all ease. The price point is good value for what you get. Very happy with the product.

I tested out this product using a BB cream and the ergonomic shape made applying the cream to the nooks and crannies of my face a sinch. The reverse pointed bit allows the undereye and sides of the nose to be covered evenly.The negative aspects of this cosmetic sponge is that I cleaned it with hot water and washing liquid in a mug but it was impossible to get it as spotless as I'd like. Also, the plastic packaging was really difficult to break into.

They are soft in your hands and goes back to shape after you squeeze itThe way that they are egg like shaped makes them easier to hold in your hands.They are good for blending in foundation and also concealer.Because they are so flexible you can hold on how you wanted to get into the inner corners of your eye and around your nose nicely.Unlike regular makeup sponges these don't absorb a lot of the foundation which is a bonus in my opinion.

Got this for a friend and they've used it ever since their old one needed replacing. Can take a lot, has a nice cut for foundation and such, and generally any make-up powder sticks to this thing perfectly. It's soft, unlike some more rigid sponges if they're your thing, but pick up and apply make-up perfectly, distrubuting it equally across the face. The packaging feels high-quality, as does the item. Very easy to use.Definitely recommend.

This is the frst time that i tryed a velvet material sponge ... It is convenient and fast. I also use the brush from time to time but I like to vary it ...This one I used it for the powder that shines a bit instead of using the same brush for the mate one. They sey is cruelty free product so I give an extra star for it, usually i give priority to Cruelty free products when im searching for something new to try/ buy....

I have always been impressed with Real Techniques products. They are not at all gimmicky and do what they are designed to do perfectly.This powder sponge is so easy to use dry on powder and for a more intense effect dampened. The sponge can cover larger areas with the flat surface and can be used for more defined work with the edges.Currently on sale for £5.99 which is a real bargain.A full 5 stars from me.

This has a different texture to the usual foundation rt sponge or beauty blender that I'm used to.I've tried it for setting powder both dry and dampened. I prefer it dry. It gives a lovely velvety finish. I'm not entirely convinced I'll continue to use it or repurchase as sponges are bulkier than brushes, but I can't deny it does a great job.

The feel of this Miracle Powder sponge is totally different from my other Real Techniques sponges, it has an almost velvety finish. It picks up powder well, can be used damp or dry and applies evenly either by blending or dabbing.It really does give a flawless finish and is perfect for applying powder foundation or setting powder!

This is an amazing make up sponge. It’s exactly like Juno and co velvet sponge. If you haven’t used it, use it because it gives you the most flawless foundation and powder. I use it for foundation and powder and trust me, it’s a game changer. I definitely will be buying it again. Also it’s so soft. Definitely recommend it.

Please note that although the pictures show two sponges in the pack, you do only get one! Tad misleading Amazon!That said, what a sponge it is! Its so so good! Makes your powder look airbrushed. I always expect big things from Real Techniques and this did not disappoint.. you wont regret this purchase
