Real Techniques Expert Concealer is a single brush for applying concealer. The brush arrives in standard Real Techniques packing which is a sturdy plastic packing that keeps the products in top condition and on the back also has a reminder to check out the brand via social media where sites like YouTube include instructions on correct use of the products. This is just an individual brush. The concealer brush is for the application of concealer, specifically around areas such as the eye, it’s not pointed and doesn’t differ that much from other similar makeup brushes in that you could just as easily use a spare eyeshadow brush to apply concealer. It is a more densely packed brush so is better suited to concealer verses being used as an eyeshadow brush.Base products from Real Technique are orange in colour, I appreciate the colour-coding so it's easy to identify which brushes I need for which phase of my makeup routine, and the name of the brush is also printed on the side so you know which is which. Real Techniques are a good quality but also fairly light brushes so easy to use, the handles are metal but around an inch and a half of black plastic which allows you to get a good grip, the brushes themselves are dense so firm enough to do the job but still silky soft so feel pleasant on the skin.Real Techniques tend to be more expensive than some other brands, typically I will have no problem slapping my makeup on with a cheap £1 set of brushes, but you do definitely get what you pay for as Real Techniques are a much better quality. Currently this brush is priced at £7.89 which is a bit much for a single brush and one that is not that specialist.

I admit I have a lot of makeup brushes but this is brand I keep returning to. Real Techniques is brilliant for being good tools at affordable prices, in fact outstanding value for what you pay, and this is a very good brush, but it's not the best concealer brush I have used as due to its design as a tightly packed 'finger tip' style brush meaning whilst not incapable it's not the best at buffing out to airbrushed loveliness but is pretty good at applying concealer right up to the inner eye corner and lash line or in the corners of the nose rather than with fingers! If you don't like a softer concealer look, need full colour blocking for coverage or prefer 'baking'your concealer this maybe a good one for you as you get a good opaque coverage with this brush. This makes it is still very useful and after playing with it for a week alone to apply my concealer, I've found I like to use this in conjunction with my favourite blending one as this is great for 'packing on' product especially on days where your eyes are round your knees and you resemble Gollum you're so tired. This is where you apply the product a touch more heavily in dabs almost stippling the area of coverage and pushing the product in a 'rolling motion' similar to using a beauty blender into the skin to get less of a 'layer cake' result and you can get reasonably good blending by this, but I just like to swirl my buffing style concealer brush over the top or the application or round the edges at least to get a diffused more natural look, sometimes with translucent powder, sometimes without. My favourite concealer brush remains my

The expert concealer brush is very similar to the deluxe crease brush from the original eye set (forgot the name) which is a cult product as a concealer brush rather than an eye brush.I did buy it hoping it would be very similar, as it is the only brush like this I have seen as this price that is good.Like the deluxe crease brush, it is chubby and dense. It seems to be very slightly shorter, which I think is probably as it is specifically designed for liquid product rather than cream/powder eyeshadow blending. It is also slightly flatter rather than completely round which makes it better for the contours and smaller areas when applying concealer especially around the eye area.Love the price for this brush.I have my first real techniques brushes for a long time including the deluxe crease and they last very well and are very good. However I can't comment on more recent releases as I try not to buy too many brushes when I already have plenty.

When i first saw this brush i thought it was for eyeshadow and that leads me to two wonderful Real Techniques facts: Each brush has its purpose stamped on it so you cant get mixed up and they brushes are colour coded!! As eye brushes are purple and this brush is orange it must be for your base. Hurrah! Thats a weird thing, they dont shout about this fact much. Ive only just noticed the fact myself.Bad things about Real Techniques brushes are the lack of lids (generally), the packaging (getting the lid open is like entering the krypton factor) and the lack of info on the packaging. Id really like it if they put a teeny bit of use info on the box or included inside. This brush is so soft, really really soft, which is essential if you are going to be gently applying it to your lower eyelid skin, which is some of the thinnest in the human body. I can apply this brush dry to my eyelids and it doesnt drag my skin at all.

This brand of makeup brush is fast becoming one of my favourites. They are affordable but such good quality. I also love the colour of the barrels as they are a nice metallic effect. It makes my concealer look really nice. It is such a handy brush to have for when you want to make sure that your concealer is blended in really well. I love using it for nights out to make sure that everything looks seemlessThis brush doesn’t scratch, pull or lose any hair when I am using it. This is very handy because under the eyes is a very sensitive area, where concealer is usually placed.I can't argue with the price of this brush as it is very reasonable for the quality that comes with it.I feel that it will last for a long time in my makeup bag.I would love to try more from this brand in the future. There aren't enough affordable makeup brushes on the market but these are making up for that

I love the ‘Real Techniques’ range of makeup products as they have been well thought out and designed to make like quicker and easier. The brushes are soft and kind to your skin, they keep their shape and can be reused time and time again. This is a mini version of the foundation brush that is designed for concealing. It is excellent for concealing as you can concentrate the areas that you want to cover without affecting your existing base. This brush is small and is perfect for applying foundation or concealer to smaller or more detailed areas, such as the bridge of the nose, edge of the nose, under eyes, under brow, or for covering blemishes. It buffs concealer into the skin for a seamless and flawless look.

Love this fluffy little brush! It blends concealer well and can be used to buff and stipple. I bought one for me and one for a friend and she loves hers too. It's been used almost daily for 2 months and washed weekly and I've had no issues! Is it fake? I don't know. I have other RT brushes from that well known pharmacy/beauty store with the advantage card and they look exactly the same and feel the same. If it is genuine, it's a very good price! If it's a dupe, it's a very good one and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another! Dispatched super quick (I have Prime though) and delivered the next day.

I have many of the Real Techniques brushes and this is a nice addition. Just the right size for applying eye concealer but it's a pretty niche area and I've got other (cheaper) brushes which do just as well and are not area specific. I like to have all my brushes matching though so I'm happy to have it. I like that they're all coloured so you can tell which area a brush is intended for. Nice brush and as always with the RT brand it's great quality. Dense and full bristles which wash well with no casting. I've never had any of my RT brushes shed while using and this is no exception.

This is my first RT brush and quite happy with it. I like the size and weight - it's not too heavy but does have a little weight to it with the rubbery end. I love the fact the bristles are synthetic rather than animal fur and while it's dense, it's still soft to blend out the concealer without leaving harsh marks. It does a better job around my eyes than using my finger would especially as it doesn't tug on the skin. So far having cleaned it a few times I've noticed no shedding either. Yes I would recommend and it's spurred me on to buy some of the other brushes in the range.

GOOD FOR CREAM=================It's good for cream or liquid concealer.I found the brush was really good for my concealer. I think it's a good brush that is quite dense but still fluffy, movable and not too stiff. It applies and blends really well. It's small enough to cover the little areas. Or simple for detail. However it's also large enough to apply to larger areas.I like the feeling on my skin, it's not at all abrasive.WASH======I've washed it and the bristles remained in place.OVERALL========A good brush for detail especially around the eyes.

I always preferred using my fingers for my under eyes circles. Assuming using a brush would be too complicated. I was shocked at how easy it was to use and the result actually looked much better. I use it all around the face. I bought another smaller flat one that works better for corners of under the eyes. But this brush great for concealing the rest of the face. I don’t need any foundation or tinted moisturiser now. A proper no makeup makeup look.

The bristles on the brush are very soft and gentle, especially when used around the eye area. I particularly like the length of them, and also the tapered shape, because it was easier to apply the concealer accurately. The brush picks up liquid and powder equally well, and blends smoothly.I’m impressed with the quality of the brushes I have tried from this range; they perform as well – and sometimes better – than those I have, costing much more.

Real Techniques Expert Concealer is one brush I would happily recommend as it not only conceals spots, I love how I am able to blend in the dark areas which are based on the under-eye area. This brush has a head which is dense with bristles which make it a firmer applicator compared to other similar types of brushes but with the softness of the expert, concealer makes it perfect for the blending of all creamy concealers.Happy to recommend.

I actually expected this to feel weightier. it's a very light brush. The thickness is good for holding but the rubber bit is in the wrong place .It should be all over or in the middle of the handle. The orange bit is so smooth you could risk it slipping in your hand which isn't really what you want with concealer. These best bit though is the brush itself. Nice and thick and not too soft or flat like most concealer brushes can be. Perfect.

Nicely packaged product which looks appealing. The brush itself is very tactile and easy to hold and I felt very in control with it when in use. Brush head is thick and well made and seems very sturdy there were no bristles loose and the quality was excellent. I used this with my usual concealer product and I found that this brush was very easy to use and did a great job! I would recommend this highly!
