Using these sponges damp is a perfect way to achieve flawless looking results from any foundation or cream contour product. It is perfect for making it look seemless and blend really well. It makes it look undetectable on your cheek bones and leaves no harsh lines. It makes your foundation and contour look more natural, like it is real skin. It also makes it last longer because it is pressed in to the skin and is not just sitting on topThese sponges are really comparable to the beauty blenders but are a fraction of the price!I love that you get two sponges in one because it is better value for money and is so easy to useThey make applying my makeup quick and easy and I can always be guaranteed to get a really nice finish.Highly recommend!

Im a bit confused by this. At first glance i thought the different ends of the sponge would be different but the only difference i can find is the colour. So is this saying i shouldnt use the pointy end of the all orange base sponge for applying foundation as its for finishing on this sponge? This make up malarky can get very complicated! I like the idea of having a dual purpose sponge, i dont like having heaps of things. i get confused as to what its all for! This is a good size, not too big (bigger sponges tend to absorb a lot of product when i use them, it gets expensive!) It works well at applying make up, it can be used wet and dry, with liquids, creams and powders and is latex free.

It is great to have a dual purpose sponge to use instead of searching around for seperate sponges.Having really been used to applying foundation with my fingers, it has not taken me long to adapt to using a sponge instead. I can get a more even coverage with a sponge than I ever did with my fingers. These two strong colours help you to remember which is which. Orange for foundation and the pink (for me) for blusher. (Not into contouring yet)As long as you clean the sponge regularly (to avoid spots) this will last you about 3 months which in my book is very good in comparison to the traditional pad which clogs very quickly and disintegrates because you cannot wash it.

I love the ‘Real Techniques’ range of makeup products as they have been well thought out and designed to make like quicker and easier. The sponge is soft and kind to your skin and can be reused time and time again. The dual ended sponge is used dry to give you full coverage. The orange end is angled and is designed to apply foundation smoothly across your skin, it can be used with powder, liquid, or cream foundations. The pink end is for contouring and highlighting, and the rounded edge is excellent for even distribution before blending in. This sponge helps to achieve full coverage effortlessly.

Firstly, before use, these sponges need a good soak. Then, after a good squeeze, you can use them to apply liquid foundation or concealer to the skin. This stops the sponge from absorbing too much product. The sponges also require a good hygiene routine too - I wash mine out straight after use to avoid any clogging up or bacterial growth. They work brilliantly though, and can even out skin tone better than using fingers or a brush. The pointed edges are particularly good for blending around facial lines and contours.A great applicator overall.

No doubt about it, real techniques have the beauty sponge down to a tee. This is quite a small blender, though it's really useful for travelling and when I'm on the go. I have to say I only tend to use the tapered end of the sponge for my makeup, I think it would be quite unhygienic to use both ends as you're using your hand to hold one end whilst you're applying your makeup. The texture is great and this this is a great tool for applying foundation, blending concealer and applying any touch-ups. Thumbs up from me!

Got this for my wife as she always seems to have multiple sponges on the go and I thought this might help her cut down.Real Techniques products are generally of a high quality and this sponge is no different. The Orange "wedge" end is for applying foundation with the pointed pink end for contouring and anything else involving ore precise application. This hasn't lead to surrendering of any of the myriad other implements on her dresser but the fact it's in regular use is a very good sign!

I can't believe there are so many variations of these make up sponges now. In theory, this one has 2 uses: the orange side is for foundation and the pointed pink side for contouring. But really, if you don't do contouring, you'll still be using the pink side to dab foundation on difficult to reach places, or for concealer...all sorts.Real Techniques is a very good brand so you can be sure that these sponges will not fall apart at the first use.

Fantastic! I have a few of these sponges. This is by far my favourite. It's orange and hot pink are not there to make it look pretty. Well for me it isn't. I use the orange flat side for the foundation. And the pink pointed end of the sponge for the blending in the corner of the eyes, around the nose and mouth. Easy to use and it blends better for me than a brush ever will. Great value for money. And it's so easy to clean every week.

This is a full sized make up sponge which is good to apply foundation. I like using the flat side initially, then tidy up with the pointy curved end. This sponge is supposed to have a firmer end although both feel the same to me and the pick bit can be used to apply blusher1 I would never use a sponge to apply blusher as i'd end up with a strip. for me, the whole sponge is being used just for foundation/ concealer!

I found slight differences in the finishes both sides gave but also, pretty easy when using different shades of concealers (that are perhaps not obviously different to the naked eye) and foundations when you have two distinct colours in the sponge so you know what is where.Gives a very soft diffused finish no feels so comfortable to use.

This is a really useful tool for applying make-up. There are two different coloured ends - used dry, the pink side has a pointed tip for getting into the face's unique crevices and the orange side is contoured to aid the application of blusher etc. With regular washes, this product will last for a few months.Recommended.

Love this sponge- excellent quality, so easy to use. Has a dual function with a flat side for wider application and a more pointed one for finer, targeted work. The sponge material is soft and pliable but suitably firm, you get the feeling straightaway it's going to withstand plenty of use. Can't go wrong.

If you are short on space these double ended sponges are great - use the orange side for blending your foundation and the pink side for highlight and contouring. I don’t bother with highlight and contouring though so don’t think I’d buy more of these. It washes and wears pretty well (I use baby shampoo).

Great for applying make up very practical regardless of how you are using them. Having used them for a while now they have been very good providing even application and look like they will last the 3 months its said they are supposed to last.
