This makeup brush set is intended for an everyday makeup job but it is stepping it up. It is a really great set because the brushes are multipurpose, soft, and not shedding hair at all. They blend the makeup very easily and can be washed in lukewarm water with liquid soap. They are coloured differently so you can easily find which one to use, also they have a label on them so you know for which purposes they can be used. I own several sets from RT, and I am very pleased with their lineup and they haven't disappointed me yet. They are of great quality, affordable and will last you for years.200 expert face brush has firm bristles and it applies liquids and cream foundations without a fuss and can blend them smoothly. It can even be used to apply moisturizer beforehand.300 deluxe crease brush is perfect for blending out the eyeshadow or to blend the concealer underneath the eyes.400 blush brush is tapered and really soft, it blends powder blush effortlessly but can also be used for translucent powder or bronzer.402 setting brush is ideal for setting the under eyes with powder or for applying highlighter when you don't want to use a lot of product. The sponges are really nice and soft, pretty large, and on the packaging, they advise you that you should replace them in 1-3 months. The sponge can be used both wet or dry and can be easily washed in lukewarm water with soap. It is ideal for touch-ups or on the go and for the precision blending and can be used with creams, liquids or powders (concealer, highlighter, baking, blemishes, etc.). When used dry with either liquid or powder foundation it gives you full coverage (dewy makeup look), and when used wet it gives you much lighter coverage for that makeup no-makeup look. I found out that you need to wet the sponge fully and then squeeze the excess liquid because otherwise, you may experience the "bumps" in the sponge (other people can think it could be fake because of that).Overall, this set has excellent products for the everyday essentials, they are versatile and I would definitely recommend!

Wow oh wow is this makeup brushes and blenders set such a blessing when it comes to applying make up!The set itself arrives beautifully packaged in a pink toned sheer packet, perfect to easily see exactly what you (or the lucky recipient is getting) and is full of the essentials needed for applying good makeup. The 2 beauty blenders are a pale peach in colour which makes it easy to see when they are in need of a good clean and are super absorbent allowing for smooth application of foundation, concealer, contouring, etc to your face. I like that there’s 2 of them so you can use them for different things, have a wash and a use, or even just keep one as a spare for when your current one needs replacing. The brushes have handles that allow for good grip, and are easy to hold and use. The bristles on the brushes are so very soft! It means that not only are your powders, eyeshadows, blushers, bronzers, etc applied easily and evenly, but they feel great against the skin too! They don’t shed the hairs like cheaper ones I’ve had have done, and have a luxury feel to them.I like that they all consistently have the same design, with girly pink handles, which makes them easy to pick out of my others one and differentiate them as a set.Again the brushes are easy to clean with the correct brush cleaning products, and dry out just as soft as when they came out of the packaging.I think the set is great value for money, especially for the quality that you receive. I wouldn’t think twice about getting another set when I need to, I’m seriously that impressed.I think they would make a lovely little gift for the girly girl in your life who is into cosmetics and beauty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I found out I would be receiving this voxbox! I’ve used a few pieces from RT but not for an entire look. I’ve been using these tools exclusively for my daily makeup looks. I’ve been extremely impressed. The sponge feels slightly firm at first touch but once you wet it it expands and softens immensely. I love the size and that it has a flat side. It applies like a dream, I even like it better than beauty blender. The brushes are soft but sturdy, and they do not shed whatsoever. I’ve always used an angled blush brush but I’ve actually thoroughly enjoyed this fluffy blush brush. It applies my blush so soft and evenly. The crease brush is also really nice. The bristles are a bit shorter and more densely packed than your average crease brush. It’s a nice alternative, I would use both styles consistently. I have been using the setting brush to highlight my cheekbones, nose, and Cupid’s bow and wow! It’s the perfect size to work with all of those areas of the face and even though it’s a fluffy brush it packs a pigment punch! Lastly, the expert face complexion brush is top notch. It’s applied my foundation as well as my Morphe, Tarte, and Sephora foundation brushes. Always happy to have another to add to the lineup. If they added a powder brush and a contour/bronzer brush then it would take this collection to the next level and be the ultimate everyday full face collection. It would also make a perfect full size travel kit and a great gift! Overall this collection is awesome and perfect for all experience levels and I would recommend for purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was absolutely thrilled to get this brush set free from Influenster to review! It was my first time trying Real Techniques brushes, and I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve used their sponge before, and so I’ll start with that: this thing is superb. It’s softer than a Beautyblender, and the flat bottom not only keeps your sponge from rolling away, but it’s perfect for baking your jawline for a sharper contour. On to the expert face brush… I loved this. I normally use a sponge to put on my foundation, but ever since I got this brush, I’ve been converted. I don’t find that the brush soaks up that much extra foundation, since it normally only takes two pumps for me to do my entire face. The deluxe crease brush has been a game changer for me. I love how it lays down my transition shades, and blends them out beautifully. I have only used this brush with powder eyeshadows, primarily Morphe, but it works just as nicely with my higher end palettes as well. The blush brush, I’m not as crazy about. It blends out my blush beautifully, just over a larger area than I’d like. I’m used to using a tighter brush, though, so that’s a personal preference issue. The setting brush is amazing! I use it to apply powder to bake my undereyes, set my concealer, and soften the edges of my contour. It’s also great to use with a highlighter! All in all, I give this brush set 4.5/5FTC Info: I was given these brushes by Influenster for review purposes.

This is a great set of 4 brushes and 2 make up sponges. The brushes are a foundation brush with firm bristles to buff liquid or cream foundation; a blush make-up brush, which is tapered, with soft and fluffy bristles, to blend powder blush; a setting make-up brush with soft and fluffy bristles to dust on highlighting or setting powders precisely; and a deluxe crease make-up brush with short, dense bristles, to layer and blend cream and powder eye-shadows into the eye crease. But actually, there are no rules with make up brushes and you should use them for what you need them for! These are well-made, good quality brushes and sponges. The bristles do not come out of the brushes, they hold make up,both liquid and powder, well and deposit it on the face where you apply it. The sponges work really well and are great basics. The handles are plastic and easy to hold. The brushes are easy to clean. A friend saw I had them and commented that she has had the same set for a while now, they are great and have lasted well. The price is very good for what the set is, at £21.99 at the time of writing. One of the photos in the description is slightly misleading as it suggests there's a make up bag in the set. There isn't, but I think the picture is meant to illustrate that they would fit well into a small make up bag, which they would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this set! I have owned the miracle sponge in the past and it is great for applying foundation, concealer, setting powder and it blends everything in so smoothly! My favorite of the brushes is the blush brush. It applies blush in the most even, distrusted way, it looks seamless and airbrushed and delivers an even amount. The brush looks big, but it applies perfectly from my apple of my cheek and sweeping back to my hairline. The foundation buffer brush applies foundation well, I especially love it for applying foundation to my nose. It helps to push the product in and get around my nose! I have trouble with foundation staying on my nose and this brush helps give more coverage there. The blending brush is great for doing crease work. It’s fluffy enough to easily blend throughout the crease. I like using this brush for a one or two shadow look and use this brush to blend shades all over my lid and into the crease. I really enjoy the highlight blush. It’s light and fluffy so it didn’t deposit too much product on your face. I’m not a huge highlight fan so when I want to apply it, this brush is perfect for applying a light layer and blending it evenly so it doesn’t look like a sharp stripe on my skin. I am so happy with this entire kit of brushes and the miracle sponge!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For inexpensive brushes these are absolutely amazing and i LOVE them! The bristles are extremely soft and have like no shedding. The RT 200 which is meant for like liquid and powder foundation is nice but i wish it was slightly more dense. The bristles spread a bit to much and make the foundation go on but it finishes a bit steaky so i go in with the damp beauty blender and even it out. The RT beauty blender is one of the softest I've ever tried and didn't soak up to much prpduct or pull any back up off my skin which i loved. The RT 400 blush brush is amazing and super fluffy and honestly works great for my setting powder, the RT 402 brush works great for a subtle highlight and the RT 300 is a little big for a blender brush if you have hooded eyes but i still liked it a lot because it blended out the product i already had on my eyes that i needed to lighten up a bit. This was the first time i ever tried real technique brushes and i fell in love with them. I would definitely suggest these so someone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I want to say if you are a pro or a beginner this is is just what it said essentials...really all you need. Personally I would love it if I received it 3 more times. Every one of the brushes are beyond soft so they all blend extremely well. I have to put makeup on regularly for photo shoots because I model and these have been clutch. I ha e used all 4 brushes and the sponge about the same amount of times. I highly recommend these brushes and sponge. Pro tip for the sponge I find that if I don't WET the flat edge of the sponge it allows for me to apply powders in different colors without then mixing more flawlessly just use one sideof the tip for lighter colors and the other side for darker colors....that estrogen you need to blend edges you can use the excess on the darker side for a flawless finish. The shadow brush apply in circular motion make blending so easy. Though I received these brushes for testing my experiences are my own and I give these new brushes a big gold 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is great, especially for the price. Besides the cute color scheme, the quality is also really good. The handles are relatively lightweight and are comfortable in the hand. I haven't had any issues with bristles shedding. The RT200 is perfect for blending thicker cream products, like my ABH Contour Stick, which is a little too thick for a makeup sponge. The RT400 says it's a blush brush, but I actually use it to apply loose powder and to dust away translucent powder when I'm setting my contour. I like that the sponge has a pointed end and a flat end with an edge. The RT300 is perfect for dusting away excess powder around the eyes and also for gently blending the nose contour. The RT402 is the perfect highlight brush that I've been looking for. It's just the right size and just the right shape to perfectly dust highlight across the tops of the cheeks. I've been meaning to try the Real Techniques brand for a long time, and I'm so excited that I finally got the chance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this set of brushes. It’s the perfect combo to Get a flawless foundation application. I use the large orange handle more compacted brush for applying liquid foundation for the majority of my face. The smaller compact dome brushe is absolutely perfect for blending my concealer under my eyes or around my eyebrow area without interfering with any of the other details. To finish up your foundation the largest brush is perfect for setting powder due to the fluffy texture. Likewise, the smaller version of this brush is perfect for setting concealer and more precise areas. My personal preference for this brush Is for applying highlighter. And of course the sponge is one I actually prefer when compared to beauty blender, due to the shape . It makes application on my clients much more comfortable 25 off and they come in many versions also. Real techniques is a great brand and I’m happy that it’s affordable and attainable our local stores , Due to the great quality.

These brushes look so gorgeous that I just had to add it to my collection. The set contains all the brushes and sponge you will need to do your face from foundation to contour to highlighter. Since I already own these brushes individually I was able to compare the quality and these were the differences I found: 400 blush brush is more rounded in shape, tightly packed and has less give to it but still very fluffy to the touch200 expert face brush is more firm and densely packed, more identical to the sculpting brush but without the slanted shape402 setting brush is more tightly packed, has more volume and very fluffy to the touch300 deluxe crease brush is identical but maybe a bit softer to thetouchMiracle complexion sponge has a slighty denser feel compared to the sponges before it had the logo printed on.Other than these subtle differences the brushes still perform really well and are a welcomed addition to my every growing collection of brushes.

This is a great shape of basic brushes! The blush brush is so soft and fluffy, I honestly use this to apply not only blush but also finishing powder to my face! The complexion sponge is great for applying liquid foundation all over the face, concealing under they eyes and I love that the pointed end can get into small crevices like the nose and corner of your eye. The deluxe crease brush is my ALL TIME FAVORITE shadow brush, it blends everything out perfectly and is so great for people just beginning to play with eyeshadows. The setting brush is great for dusting on setting powders and highlighter. With the expert face brush you can apply liquid foundation with an even airbrushed finish.I love love love this set so much, its great for beginners and also all you would need if you were traveling. Definitely worth the $20 at Ulta!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of the brushes in this set are so soft. I've always had some brushes here and there that felt a little more "scratchy", but these feel like clouds. The blush and foundation brushes are my favorite! The foundation brush specifically is great with precise application while still covering a lot of area while you're using it. It was just easy to avoid my eye makeup for my Halloween costume, which I was impressed with. Most of my brushes would have smeared it because I got too close. The crease brush was nice for blending. I thought it worked well but it felt a tad bit too big except for one time where I wanted my color to be spread out.The sponge is good!Nothing special in my opinion but I was really happy to have a new one! It works just as well as my other ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving these brushes and beauty sponge. I already owned the sponge, so I was even more excited to try out the new brushes and get an additional product I already loved. The brushes are wonderful and have just the right density of brush hair for the type of products they are meant to be used for. The powder brush is super soft and fluffy, evenly distributes product. The smaller brush is perfect for my contour and deposits the powder evenly without creating a harsh line and makes it super easy to blend. Also love the small eyeshadow brush for days where I just want a small wash of color over the entire eyelid. The only complaint is that I wish the brush handles were smaller. They take up a lot of room in my make up brush holder.
