5 stars is not enough for these sponges.They are completely fabulous.I've never used a beauty blender so can't compare but these sponges are so easy to use - they come with great instructions! I use mine damp with 1 pump of Foundation and I get an incredible flawless airbrushed finish. It's amazing. The finish is nicer than with a brush and these are quicker and easier to clean.I clean mine after each use with baby shampoo until the water runs clear and have had no issues at all. People have mentioned online issues where there sponges get a bit hard from soap buildup. I have not noticed this.I have not sterilised mine but after about 6 weeks mine was getting ratty and cracking so I used the

The only makeup sponge I rely on!I’ve been honestly in love with this makeup sponge for years now. If you’ve tried it you’ll know why.Unlike the other shaped beauty blenders I find the shape and texture of this sponge so much better for getting in every little corner of my face. I like to use quite a bit of foundation to cover my reddish skin, and using the little tip and the curved edge really helps.I use the “bump” method, rather than smearing foundation or powder onto my skin I bump it on quite quickly and it soaks into my skin without the sponge soaking up lots of product.The only issue I’ve come across is that when cleaning the sponge it tends to start to tear (only a little bit)

I am a man in his forties who has never used makeup in his life. I have a facial disfigurement however which has worsened with age to the extent I have to deal with constant questions and comments from other people - although I do not really mind this (used to it) it has proved problematic at times. I basically look like I have a large bruise below my eye. Due to this I saw a skin camouflage practitioner recently and was prescribed a couple of products to cover the area, the first being a type of 'foundation' fixed in place with powder. Applying this with my finger was difficult and the sponge supplied with the product fairly useless.

My favourite brand of cosmetic sponges - superior to the BB in my opinion as they have a flat side. Texture and longevity wise, very little difference. The swell up and soften nicely when water is added. In the case of these mini sponges, they are slightly larger than the BB's lime green teardrop minis too, which I feel are a little too small. These are fantastic multi taskers for the undereye area, nose, applying contour, blush and highlight, as well as erasing smudges and blending - and with this pack of four, you can assign each colour to a different task. The finish you can achieve with these sponges is so much nicer than makeup applied with a brush or fingers.Regarding cleaning,

Hands down, these are the best make up sponges I have used. I have been using them for years, after trying them on a whim as a cheaper alternative to the Beauty Blender and I have never looked back! These sponges are the perfect consistency, not too dense but not too flimsy. They hold just the right amount of water when damp to apply make up seamlessly but without being drippy and messy. They don't seem to absorb too much make up either. They are lovely to hold and use, very ergonomic. The flat side is excellent for applying foundation to the larger planes of the face like cheeks, chin and forehead, while the pointed end is great for getting foundation and concealer in around the eyes and nose.

The sponge does the job at applying foundation with a professional-looking finish. This particular product bought from Amazon seems to be the genuine product, with the sponge expanding quite a noticeable amount with water, and shrink again to its original shape and size when dried. One downside, not particularly due to the quality of the product itself, but as a general downside, is that the sponge needs to be replaced once in a while, as even though every time after I've used it I would clean it, it still can become mouldy easily. My tip would be to: not be lazy, and wash it every time after you've used it, every time yes, and leave it to dry under the sun or on the radiator (this double measure would undoubtedly prevent your sponge from getting ruined)

My favourite sponges by far. I prefer these to my beauty blender because I LOVE the flat side. I usually apply my foundation with a brush then blend it out with the rounded side of the sponge to get a completely flawless finish. Then I use the flat side to blend out concealer around my eyes and nose if I'm going to contour. It's also great for using with loose powder to bake. The flat side of the sponge is best for this since you can place it really precisely in straight lines for contour on cheeks. I would never buy any other sponge again! I recently tried the ecotools version but it really isn't comparable to the finish and texture of this sponge at all and I regret wasting my money trying

I love the shape of these, and the texture is fab too - they don't suck up all your foundation. I've been using them dampened, with a full coverage liquid foundation, lightly applied, just patted on, and I'm delighted - makeup goes on really dewy and natural, and lasts all day.I've used a little baby shampoo to clean them, and that works well enough - you'll never be able to wash off the foundation marks entirely, but that's fine. Also, be careful when squeezing them - they can go misshapen, so be gentle when they're wet. Let them dry completely before using them again.All in all, these are easily the best sponges in terms of use, price point and reliability I've found.

I have used sponges in the past but not one of them come close to the Real Techniques sponges in product quality and value for money. I bought the duo pack and find it very convenient to use them against each other, so when I've washed one I can use the other one while the first one is drying. I dont find that it absorbs a lot of the product (I know a lot of people say this) particularly if you wet it before you apply your foundation. It might not be very absorbant because I use quite a thick N07 foundation. I prefer the sponges to foundation brushes, they give you a much more even coverage and doesn't leave streaks/ lines on your face that I find brushes do.

I have bought this sponge for other people as pressies before but this is the first time I have tried it myself. I am very impressed. I use a solid cream foundation that comes in a compact with its own round thin sponge. This sponge is a lot better to apply my foundation and the shape allows me to get the correct coverage around the eye area in particular. The texture is close but it seems to let go of a lot of the foundation onto your face easily, so you are not wasting it having it left on the sponge. It is also lovely and soft.I am very happy with it and can understand why it was a requested pressie in the past. Why was I so late to catch on?

I absolutely love it! This is one of the best cosmetic purchases I've ever made, I honestly thought the whole beauty blender craze was abit of a gimmick, like how much can a sponge make?? It turns out ALOT! My make up has never looked better I'm really impressed, it's soo easy to use, looks tinie when I got it out the packaging but expands alot, I'll definitely be repurchasing this sponge it's amazing and less than half the price of the original beauty blender, the only thing I don't like is the colour I think it would be better in a darker colour, as mine has stained from my foundation and looks dirty, but all in all I give it a 5 star

Ok are these products fake? Yes!Are they very good? Also yes!!Obviously fake at first sight - I am attaching a photo a RT blender and one of these (on the right) for comparison. They grow so much more in size and change shape when wet but honestly the quality is just as good and the shape change doesn't affect the precision. They wash well, I've had them for way longer than I expected them to last and they are still like new, having using them daily. I wouldn't recommend you knowingly buy a bootleg product, especially since you could get the original for the same price but having fallen for the scam, I gotta say these worked for me.

Little bit surprised when these tiny little sponges turned up - should have read the description!After toying with sendinging them back, I decided to try them out. Having applied primer with my fingers, I dotted some foundation on my skin and started to dab with these tiny sponges. It didn't take as long as I expected, I got all the hard to reach areas like my nose and eyelids. The coverage was thin, but that made it buildable, which worked really well when I tried putting a thicker concealer on and dabbing it with a mini-sponge.Unexpectedly impressed with these, perhaps I will order them again.

I honestly don't know how I managed with brushes everyday...... This gives the smoothest application for foundation and concealer I've ever come across. Gives a tide-mark free finish and it's also really good for building coverage in certain areas without appearing caked on or unblended.It definitely needs to be cleaned after each use, otherwise it starts to feel quite dry and firm and doesn't do its job as well but in theory you should wash all your make-up applicators everyday.It's lasted me over 2 months so far with no loss of quality so I'm very happy and will order again in the future.

Been purchasing RT sponges for years and I’m so happy there available on amazon. They blend my foundation and concealer just fine but as expected do absorb water based foundations more so I suggest applying foundation to the face with ur fingers or brush and then blend with the sponge. Sponge is soft enough, I’ve found others softer but I’m not complaining as it does a great job. The quality does reduce after a few washes and the sponge softens and you see it wear down after a few washes. I constantly repurchase these as there great for the price !
