These handy little sponges and easy and pleasant to use and helped to spread my foundation evenly and smoothly without soaking up too much product which the more traditional, porous sponges can do. The unusual shape means that it's easy to apply product around the nose and eyes using the 'pointy' corners. The packaging comes with no instructions whatsoever but from looking at the product info on Amazon and reading other reviews I gather that they can also be used for blotting shiny skin. I often get a shiny T zone during the day and I found that they did blot the oil away. I'm not sure (due to the lack of instructions) what the difference between the orange and white sides is,but I've been using the orange for foundation and white for blotting. They cleaned up fairly well after a quick rinse with facial wash, but I'm not confident they will last 3 months as suggested in the Amazon blurb.

I have rosacea and have to cover it very carefully with make up before I can face the office. I found these brilliant for blending in the layers of foundation which I build up over the worst patches, particularly on the cheeks. Everyone knows "celebrities" can pass unrecognised without their make up, and these make up sponges, used skilfully, could transform bad or ordinary skin into a flawless cover. However, they come at a cost as they don't last for ever. I do feel they give a far better blended and even cover than just using fingers, but I don't want to get addicted - I'll keep them for special occasions or when the skin really does not some extra assistance in the masking department.

This pack includes four ‘miracle’ blotting cushions. These are useful to keep in your make up bag when out and about and handy at work, for when your make up gets a little tired, or ‘creasy’ around your eyes. They are quite absorbent and so are useful to absorb shine, even without any product.I am not sure these are essential – they work rather like the sponge in my powder compact. Indeed, if you need to replace a sponge in a favourite powder compact, these would work well. I like the shape, which enables you to get into the corners of eyes and either gently blot the skin, or apply powder. However, use these gently, or you will just end up smearing your make-up.

My daughter has very greasy skin on her T zone and open pores which she uses Biore strips on weekly....these help a lot. However, she says that these blotting cushions are fantastic when applying foundation to get a matte look which really lasts. Use them slightly damp and follow tips on the Real Techniques website and you can't go wrong. She has tried so many products for this problem, and this was the only thing that lasted without that horrible shiny look coming back and ruining your precious make up which you've taken a lot of trouble over.Very impressed.

Firstly, before use, these sponges need a good soak. Then, after a good squeeze, you can use them to apply liquid foundation or concealer to the skin. This stops the sponge from absorbing too much product. The sponges also require a good hygiene routine too - I wash mine out straight after use to avoid any clogging up or bacterial growth. They work brilliantly though, and can even out skin tone better than using fingers or a brush. The pointed edges are particularly good for blending around facial lines and contours.A great applicator overall.

These are thinner than standard make up sponges, making them easier to manoeuvre around the curves and contours of a face. They held a good amount of product and released it well onto my skin. They worked well with both my liquid foundation, my pressed powder and a clean, unused sponge used on my previously made up face freshened up my skin too. They washed well with a little facial soap, though there was a little staining left from my foundation- something that seems to happen with all make up sponges.I like them and would recommend

I love the shape of these cushions and fit handily into my make up bag. There are two orange and two while blotting cushions in my pack and they really do work quite well. I could easily live without these but as I have a shiny t zone these are great for absorbing excess oil from my face as the day wears on. I have used to blot my skin to get rid of excessive oil and also used to apply foundation powder. This is a good product that I would use again and they wash easily to reuse too.

I found these little sponges quite useful for both application of foundation as well as smoothing touch-ups thereafter (such as creasing). They do also work well if used on slightly oily areas, leaving a matte finish. They are very smooth and absorbent.Packaging could be better; it is virtually impossible to open without damaging a nail. Four in a pack with recommended replacement after 1-2 months, it feels costly but they do a good job.

These blotting cushions are ideal for applying liquid foundation, they give a nice clean regular finish to the application making blending easy.I usually use a large sponge and these cushions do the job almost as well, are much easier to wash and fit into a hand bag or makeup bag easily without taking up much room.As a blotting cushion I didn’t find them particularly helpful, I would say a thin tissues is as easy and effective to use.

Love these beautifully soft blotting sponges. Not a big fan of lots of makeup and these are great for giving cotrol over how much you are using, as well as being a great shape for smoothing around all the geography of your face. My favourite thing is their ability to soak up oil on your skin. When the weather gets warm it is a real issue and these little chaps are so small and easy to squirrel in your bag, you can take them everywhere.

These Blotting Cushions from Paris Presents, help to soak up the grease spots from skin, without disturbing your makeup too much. Grease spots left to their own devices can produce shiny areas of skin which has got blocked pores, leading to nasty blackheads and blemishes. If you are prone to oily skin then it's best to get rid of it and these blotting Cushions will do that nicely...happy dabbing :).

These little sponges are very handy to keep in your bag if you have oily skin. I find that they take oil away from my chin and forehead straight away. Sometimes this is enough and it makes my makeup look refreshed. I can also add powder after blotting with this and prevent dipping my makeup brush onto oily skin them into the powder. They have become an essential for my makeup bag

Very good make-up sponges, nice quality and useful addition to my make-up bag. Good for ensuring a nice finish to your foundation and for refreshing your face through the day. I like the thinness of the sponges as they're good to use but also don't soak up too much foundation. Quite pricey I think but if you divide by the number of sponges, the price is fair.

These are four latex-free miracle blotting cushions, designed to be used dry. Colours are two orange, two white. The packet designates the product as being for base make-up, to help smooth and perfect the layers.Feels good, smooths make-up well.

Very useful sponges for applying make-up and working it onto the skin, as they are thinner and more pliable than most sponges. Works well around my noses where there are thread veins. Useful tool to add to the make-up box.
