5 stars is not enough for these sponges. They are completely fabulous.I've never used a beauty blender so can't compare but these sponges are so easy to use - they come with great instructions! I use mine damp with 1 pump of Foundation and I get an incredible flawless airbrushed finish. It's amazing. The finish is nicer than with a brush and these are quicker and easier to clean.I clean mine after each use with baby shampoo until the water runs clear and have had no issues at all. People have mentioned online issues where there sponges get a bit hard from soap buildup. I have not noticed this.I have not sterilised mine but after about 6 weeks mine was getting ratty and cracking so I used theother in the packet and chucked the ratty one.Until I read the packaging I didn't realise these were meant to be disposable but apparently they are. I don't think I helped the longevity of mine by cleaning it so frequently/ aggressivly but I worry about germs. If you are questioning giving these a try, don't. They are fantastic. They are super soft and I have no complaints, they are also a really good price on Amazon

I will say this is my favorite sponge. I've tried off brand, drug store 'dupes', the original beauty blender and basically every beauty sponge possible. I have to say this Miracle Complexion Sponge is easily the best one out there. It's a realistic shape, it's affordable for all not just some and it's just perfect. The pointed end can get into the hard to reach crevasses etc, and the flat side can be for applying foundation, baking, or even just sharpening up contours with whats left over on the sponge to clean up lines. I've used these for professional body painting with aqua paints, regular makeup, and for setting powders! It's truly a multi-use sponge. The cost is the best part along with the shape!Anyone can use this and really can't go wrong, although you do want to make sure it's damp, not wet before use. It's made as a quality product, at an incredible price for it easily being the best makeup sponge out there. :) I tested Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for free from Influenster, but all opinions are my own. I bought this literally 8-10 times before ever receiving one free!

The only makeup sponge I rely on!I’ve been honestly in love with this makeup sponge for years now. If you’ve tried it you’ll know why.Unlike the other shaped beauty blenders I find the shape and texture of this sponge so much better for getting in every little corner of my face. I like to use quite a bit of foundation to cover my reddish skin, and using the little tip and the curved edge really helps.I use the “bump” method, rather than smearing foundation or powder onto my skin I bump it on quite quickly and it soaks into my skin without the sponge soaking up lots of product. The only issue I’ve come across is that when cleaning the sponge it tends to start to tear (only a little bit)after a few washes. Or maybe I’m too heavy handed when I wash it through! The NYX foundation that I use is quite thick and does tend to stain the sponge surface and make it look not quite as pretty, but it always cleans up well.I know some people swear by brushes or even using their fingers to apply their makeup, but at this point I don’t think I could use anything other than this. It really is just that great!

i've been using this sponge for roughly 1 month for concealer, foundation and powder. i first wet the sponge by squeezing it under running water then with a lint free towel i squeeze out the excess water and start blending my foundation using a bouncing motion. i also use it to blend out my under eye concealer & set it as well at applying excess powder in areas i like to make bake to help makeup stay on longer. i also clean up my contour with the flat side edges. this sponge is so versitile and the quality it great for the price. if you take care of it it will last you well over a year maybe even more. although they recommend you replace every 3/4 months i have had several for over a year and they work perfectly.i don't use harsh cleaners on it either so just take care of it and i also don't pump my foundation onto it i usually apply foundation to my face them blend from there. i haven't had any staining or difficulty removing product from my sponge with these tequniques. *i tested this product and a few other brushes for free but this experience and opinions are my own.*

I am a man in his forties who has never used makeup in his life. I have a facial disfigurement however which has worsened with age to the extent I have to deal with constant questions and comments from other people - although I do not really mind this (used to it) it has proved problematic at times. I basically look like I have a large bruise below my eye. Due to this I saw a skin camouflage practitioner recently and was prescribed a couple of products to cover the area, the first being a type of 'foundation' fixed in place with powder. Applying this with my finger was difficult and the sponge supplied with the product fairly useless.Based on reviews I bought a pack of these and they are fantastic - I am able to build up the cover through a dabbing action and the small size allows me to navigate around my eye with ease. I haven't tried to clean it yet but keep it in a small airtight box so it does not dry out, a month on the first sponge is as good as new. I accept my opinion is somewhat uninformed, but hopefully it may be useful to somebody.

My favourite brand of cosmetic sponges - superior to the BB in my opinion as they have a flat side. Texture and longevity wise, very little difference. The swell up and soften nicely when water is added. In the case of these mini sponges, they are slightly larger than the BB's lime green teardrop minis too, which I feel are a little too small. These are fantastic multi taskers for the undereye area, nose, applying contour, blush and highlight, as well as erasing smudges and blending - and with this pack of four, you can assign each colour to a different task. The finish you can achieve with these sponges is so much nicer than makeup applied with a brush or fingers.Regarding cleaning,I have never had a problem getting all the makeup stains off by using a naturally anti bacterial tea tree shampoo, rinsing, and then following with a gentle foaming facial cleanser to remove any shampoo residue. These sponges are latex free so are good for allergy sufferers and are great value for money. Highly recommended.

When the blending sponge trend first started, I was very eager to jump on the bandwagon and use a new tool for my foundation, concealer, and contour. However, once my first sponge wore down, I didn't go back because the price was too high. This product is a very successful, inexpensive dupe of more pricey sponges and the quality is at a slightly lower, but similar level to the Beautyblender. I definitely appreciate the flattened edge of this sponge but my only complaint is that when you wash the sponge, the shape changes and it seems like some of the water/cleaning solution gets stuck inside the sponge and won't dry out completely. The shape is great for concealer, and works well for contouring and the price is definitely a bonus*I was sent Real Techniques products for free through Influenster, but all opinions are my own*

I have always applied my foundation with a brush, and I have never tried a beauty blender before. At first, I was a little unsure how this sponge would compare. I tried it for the first time today and I am very impressed! I got it damp and used it with Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, hoping to get a dewy, natural look. It was a total success! The flat side made it so easy to get coverage all over my face, including under my eyes. I also liked using the pointed tip to blend in concealer. I ended up with a really nice, airbrushed look. I still love my brush, but I think the sponge gives me slightly better results with minimal effort. This is a great beauty tool for the price point!I tested this free through Influenster, but my opinions are my own, and I will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.

Hands down, these are the best make up sponges I have used. I have been using them for years, after trying them on a whim as a cheaper alternative to the Beauty Blender and I have never looked back! These sponges are the perfect consistency, not too dense but not too flimsy. They hold just the right amount of water when damp to apply make up seamlessly but without being drippy and messy. They don't seem to absorb too much make up either. They are lovely to hold and use, very ergonomic. The flat side is excellent for applying foundation to the larger planes of the face like cheeks, chin and forehead, while the pointed end is great for getting foundation and concealer in around the eyes and nose. They wash well and last a very long time if looked after, and are great value for money.

The sponge does the job at applying foundation with a professional-looking finish. This particular product bought from Amazon seems to be the genuine product, with the sponge expanding quite a noticeable amount with water, and shrink again to its original shape and size when dried. One downside, not particularly due to the quality of the product itself, but as a general downside, is that the sponge needs to be replaced once in a while, as even though every time after I've used it I would clean it, it still can become mouldy easily. My tip would be to: not be lazy, and wash it every time after you've used it, every time yes, and leave it to dry under the sun or on the radiator (this double measure would undoubtedly prevent your sponge from getting ruined):) Have a good day!

I am a HUGE BB fan. That was all I used, I'm willing to pay the price, and I do think there's nothing like it in the market. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the RT sponge. It is not a dupe for the BB, but it is a GREAT sponge on its own. I find myself reaching for this sponge every day now. I also feel comfortable traveling with it, because it is less expensive (in case I lose it) and because i know it is going to give me the beautiful, even finish I want. It is more firm than soft, and it takes days to dry completely after you've wet it. I haven't had any problems with it holding bacteria or tearing. I recommend this sponge. Mine was sent to me from Influenster, but my thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.Seriously, try it out. You won't regret it!

I received this this miracle complexion sponge in my Real Techniques voxbox thanks to Influenster. This sponge is so soft and easy to work with, and makes blending much easier! It doesn't retain or suck up the product, just by dampening this little sponge you will get an even and great distribution of the product you are using. The angles of this sponge are so perfect! The flat side can be used to contour or to apply your power to "Bake", as well as to get any little are that is usually hard to reach. The side of the sponge can be used to really spread and blend out the product through larger areas of your face. The point of the sponge can also be used to conceal little imperfections!GREAT job real techniques. what a great product!

My favourite sponges by far. I prefer these to my beauty blender because I LOVE the flat side. I usually apply my foundation with a brush then blend it out with the rounded side of the sponge to get a completely flawless finish. Then I use the flat side to blend out concealer around my eyes and nose if I'm going to contour. It's also great for using with loose powder to bake. The flat side of the sponge is best for this since you can place it really precisely in straight lines for contour on cheeks. I would never buy any other sponge again! I recently tried the ecotools version but it really isn't comparable to the finish and texture of this sponge at all and I regret wasting my money tryinganything else.

I received the Miracle Complexion Sponge from Real Techniques for free as a tester along with the other brushes in the holiday set. First, I must mention how adorable the packaging was. It made me excited to use it. The sponge is so soft and definitely up to par with my Beauty Blender I bought from Sephora. The only difference or con I would say is....The Beauty Blender comes in a little circle case that makes it easy to store the sponge back in, so it would be cool to have a separate case for that if buying separately from the Holiday Set, which comes with a makeup bag. I don't wear makeup as often anymore, but this was perfect to blend in my Halloween makeup and the sponge is easy to clean.

I just received this miracle complexion sponge and it is truly a miracle. I've already tried it and I am in love with how soft and easy it is to work with. I've tried so many other beauty blenders and they have been extremely hard to work with. They would always take up too much of the concealer and barely blend. But this miracle product makes it so easy to blend like a pro. All you need to do is dampen the sponge and you're all set. It will blend everything from foundation to concealer to any powder. You can even use the flat side to bake. I just love this so much. I am so glad I received this product from Influenster and tested Real Techniques for free, but all my opinions are my own.
