UPDATE (2 years since purchase). One of the top arms has snapped off making the grip useable. Consider before buying a product that is not very durable in the long run.I have since revisited and altered by review two months after buying this product.This grip was a mixed bag of good and bad but overall I think it's worth the price. I will disclaim that the switch is not dockable with the grip on but it's easy to take off so it's not a problem for those who aren't lazy. I will stress that the only reason I bought this is because I couldn't buy the Satisfye grip which is my first choice.Pros:- The grip is comfortable and does improve games that utilise the directional buttons and those that utilise the stick.For example playing Celeste and Bayonetta feels vastly more comfortable using the grip, especially the former- The triggers are free and open. This was the selling point for me, other cases are cheaper but either cover the triggers or have a plastic frame that makes the bumpers harder to press.- The included case is high quality and not too garish.- The grip itself is not rigid but instead is a flexible plastic. Now I don't have to worry about it snapping if I were to sit on it- The grip is lightweight and low-profile so there isn't a lot of bulk added.Cons:- The grips themselves are on the smaller side. This is subject to hand size as I'm 6'2" so my hands are larger and I personally would like larger grips but if you're smaller this won't be an option. That being said the size of the grips does not significantly detract from the comfort, its just a minor gripe.- There is a gap between the grips and where the joy-con lay so when pushing down on the buttons you can feel the grip flex. This is by far the most common issue I have seen people discuss on here and on Reddit. It is fixable though as I just placed some blue-tack and a sticky label in the corners and the grip no longer creaks or flexes. I've seen others use electrical tape but this seemed to do the trick for me.- The grip is hollow and feels kind of cheap. Now this is a trade off for its lightweight and thin design but I'd prefer something of a higher quality at this price point.- The grip renders the kick stand useless and is only positionable at a near 90 degree angle.The grip does have many flaws but many advantages as well. I would recommend this to someone with money to spare but if £31 is too much I'd recommend looking at a cheaper grip like the hori or JTech grips. If this product was £5-£10 cheaper I'd 100% recommend picking this up if the standard switch is uncomfortable for you.TLDR: Read the title and look at the images.

I have tried three different grips including the lorded Satisfye grip and this is by far the most comfortable one. It does however have its flaws, namely that it is not a rigid grip and flexes, I have reduced this using blutac and gorilla tape as advised by another reviewer and am now used to the little flex that it still has. Also it does creak a bit on more frantic games. It is by no means perfect, but the most important thing is that it is comfortable, the recesses for fingers on the back of the grip and the dipples all add to this.

I don't think I could ever play handheld without this now.The hand grips clip onto the back so it's easy to remove when docking, able to keep the screen in and remove the joycons (acts as a makeshift stand) which is handy for playing at my desk!Overall if you are going to play handheld, the grip alone is a must, but the case and grips that came too were an added bonus!Also, mine has been ravaged by a 6 month old puppy, it's still amazingly comfortable to hold without the rubber!

Really good quality case and grip. Grip can be sold separately but it doesn't fit in normal cases so it's better to get this box set with the case which give your switch protection when you're outside (especially for kids)The grip makes you feel comfortable to play handheld mode, it's like holding a proper controller. Perfect for playing games like Fortnight, Splatoon, Zelda etc.I think this grip is a MUST HAVE accessory for Nintendo switch and it's a good gift for switch players.

The product enables me to use the switch handheld, giving a firmer hold and better positioning to take strain off the wrists. Would recommend to anyone who has difficulty using the switch handheld and who likes the joycon grip that comes with the switch. The carry case is good quality. However, the product is a little flimsy, and doesn't feel secure on the switch (although, it hasn't come loose yet), and mine has a rattling loose bit of plastic inside already (within 3 weeks).

Using the included GripStand to hold the console while playing has made game play easier and more enjoyable for me, and with the option to use it as a stand and detaching the Joy-Cons, this makes game play on the go much more easier. The protected carry case is simple, compact, and with the inbuilt soft screen protector also gives you peace of mind while traveling or keeping it safe in the home. Would definitely recommend as a purchase with your Switch.

The grip frame is an excellent fit & doesn't smother the switch in plastic, it's very comfortable for use over extended periods. The supplied case is a pretty snug fit but I suppose that's better than the switch rattling around inside. The cartridge cases are of very good quality as well. Overall an excellent (officially licensed) product, cheaper but better than the "SATISFYE" grip kit that is sold on here at a much more expensive price.

Initially wanted the Hori Split Pad Pro, but was put off with lack of rumble and motion.So glad I went with this. Total game changer, there's just no going back to playing without it. If you find the JoyCon grip comfortable, you'll enjoy this.Only downside is that you can't Dock Switch whilst it's in this grip, but removing it is painless.

The case is very good, firm and can hold a fair amount of useful bits for your switch. The grip makes hand held gaming more comfortable by far, and let's you stand it up very well. Although it's not too tricky to remove for docking, the clips are quite thin so I would suggest care when removing it, because if they brake it will be useless.

Makes the Switch in handheld mode so much more comfortable and secure to hold, comes with some nice little bits and peices to go with the Switch aswell. The case though is the real bonus as its so well built and designed that you would never want anything else keeping the Switch safe while your out and about.

I couldn't really play my switch in handheld for long because the joy cons are tiny. The grip just sets your hands back enough so the controls are a comfortable distance. The case is really solid. Not the cheapest option but did make a big difference for me so was worth it.

This was for my partner and he loved it. It helps with gripping the console better and with the shape of the case you don’t have to keep taking the grips of. There’s space for a few games aswell so it’s perfect if you need that extra grip on your switch.

Grip is great, feels like holding the controller. Carry case has a lot of room, game storage and even as card. Clips on and off very easy, does not scratch the switch like I thought it would ! Very happy
