HORI is always the to-go-brand for Nintendo accessories, I've never been disappointed. I'm buying their products since the Nintendo DS launch.The stand is well made, there are rubber pads at the bottom to keep it steady and some rubber pads on the "shelf" mount to keep the Switch in place (and don't scratch it).You can adjust the stand to several angles to find your best orientation to play your favourite games.I usually use it when the main TV is busy and I want to have a quick session with Zelda, using the Pro controller for max performance.I got the black one but there's also a red one "Mario" edition but the features are essentially the same.It's a useful add-on for your Switch if you

To be honest, when I'm on the Switch, I'm happier playing either fully handheld, with the joycons attached, or on the TV. I thought I'd buy this on release though as I thought it would come in useful. If I'm being really honest, I've actually been using it for my tablet rather than the Switch. It's great for sitting the tablet on the loo and watching things while I'm in the bath. It's a great little design, folding up into a nice little size when not being used. I can see the obvious benefit of being able to charge the Switch (or tablet) when on the stand as it elevates it up off the floor. All in all, a good design, and not bad for a tenner.I'll happily use the stand for its intended purpose once Nintendo puts some more content on the Switch!

This stand is actually more impressive than I first thought it would be. Firstly, you have the choice of three different angles, which puts the Switch's one set angle (a fairly useless one at that) to shame. Secondly, the air vents at the back of the Switch aren't covered (sadly the same can't be said about the Orzly stand), so there's no need to worry about overheating. Thirdly, and perhaps the most important one, is that you can charge the Switch when using this stand, either from an AC adaptor or a portable charger.(I personally recommend this iMuto charger with USB-C out:

I bought this to replace the joke of a kickstand on the switch, and it definitely was a good decision.It is fairly rigid (just be careful about knocking it) and the switch seems to be fairly comfortable in the stand. The angle can be changed and it can be folded away (giving it portability).Only thing I could complain about is the lack of instructions (you'll see why). I struggled to find out how to actually open it for about 5 minutes and almost went to watch a YouTube video to work it out.All in all seems good, doesn't block any vents and would buy again.

I love the switch but hate its little one-sided stand which is good for nothing, my boyfriend bought me this product as a gift as he knows how much I get frustrated with it, and yes the stand is sturdy, light and compact. However if you were looking, like we wanted a it of high as well so that the screen is more eye level, unless you're a toddler this won't help unless you place it on top of books or boxes. So good if for a child or only to have something more stable but not very useful to lift the screen to eye level.

The Hori Play Stand arrived about an hour ago and its great. The three problems with the Switch in table top mode are the kickstand is too flimsy, the angle is rubbish and you can't charge and play. This fixes that. The stand itself folds up nice and compact. The switch is held nicely in place in the stand but two little plastic parks that slot into the switch. It raises the switch up to a better viewing level and all three positions on the stand are great. For a tenner you can't go wrong

Purchased this console stand as it allows for much greater stability when using the Switch in table top mode, and is the perfect accessory for charging the console, without having to lie it down see attached review picture, and it has ventilation holes in the back of the stand which perfectly match the switch. Can also be used for a variety of other devices, e.g. tablets, mobile phones etc. Overall a great product and it's also attractive to boot, buy it you'll be glad you did.

I don't have my Switch yet hoping maybe May, but have used one lovely console, I ordered this stand for when I have a Switch but also for use with other things like Ipad mini or iPhone.It's really good with the Ipad mini great height for drawing or painting on it.I think would be good with my PSP , Vita or Ds too.Can't wait to test with the Switch.The fact you can charge while using is a plus I see you can't do that with the Switch in portable mode which is ridiculous.

Fits switch perfect and allows male to female rose gold 1.6 feet extension cable to be used without any problems highly recommend using these two items together as it allows to use docked mode without docking in dock thus keeping your switch screen safe and stopping scratches. .. no lag from cable and keeps machine charged while you play buy it won't be disappointed it even has holes for intake vents on back of console

Great little stand, has three “slant” settings so you can have your switch set to any of the three angles.Only downside for me is that it’s made of plastic, would have been fantastic if it was made of alliminium or other metal. Feels like it could be easily broken. Rated 4/5 for this reason.Aside from that, a lovely product! Brought the Zelda one and Mario, so I could have one for at home and one for travelling!

I wanted to make it easier to play the Nintendo Switch while using my computer at the same time. When folded up the PlayStand is a very rugged solid unit, ideal for travelling. The three angles on the stand are all better than the built-in Nintendo Switch stand, particularly if you're sitting above it. I've found that the stand supports a smartphone or a small tablet pretty well too. I'm impressed.

If you like playing your Switch in handheld mode but prefer using pro controller and like to take it over to a friend’s house or a cafe then I recommend this product 100%.It’s lightweight and foldable, can easily fit into a pocket (sorry ladies) or simply into a bag.I would advise being careful with it (since it’s plastic) but we’re talking about a £300 console so no need to state the obvious.

I have used this product for nearly a month and i am very pleased with how much it has improved tabletop gaming on the switch. I purchased this stand a long with a usb c dock extension cable to prevent scratches on the switch from docking. Not only does it look good, it also has a great design that complements the switch's design to allow for safe and easy displaying on the stand.

While the stand built into the back of the Nintendo Switch does the job perfectly, sometimes you need a little more height or a better angle - particularly if you're sat at a desk, for example. This stand is perfect - simple to use, set up, and pack up - and is one of the best accessories I've bought for any system. I bought it for £10 and it's definitely worth it.
