I bought this as my new build case had no room for a writer. This was the best looking one I could find and probably the lowest price. Its very nice, except for the drop down flap.The flap is pushed down by the tray as it ejects, but the springs are too strong for my liking and push quite hard on the tray bottom forcing it up slightly. I can imagine over time that this might cause issues which a slight rethink on design would eliminate.I have carefully stretched the springs so that they just hold the flap up but don't push too hard on the base of the tray. I feel much happier with it like this as there is little force on the bottom of the tray when opening and closing. Only other issue,

I would of given 5 stars but reduced to 4 as door doesn't quite shut on its own but apart from that very good

This is very good drive for DVD rom, good looking, good deisgn and good function
