This is a great little enclosure for your external M.2 SSD. I'm using it with a Crucial MX500 250GB SSD. I've hooked it up to both a Win 10 PC and a Chromebook with a USB-C to C cable and it has worked fine.I would agree with the reviewer (treetop) below - thanks for the advice: leave off the aluminium sticker that covers the end screws unless you're sure you never want to swap over the enclosed SSD. To my eyes it looks fine without and is much more convenient.

I work with a lot of sample libraries which demand a huge amount of space and super fast access. I bought this for a Crucial 1TB flash ssd. Very easy to use with a Mac - just open up and pop in the memory card, fix three screws and format the drive and you are up and running. The small neat size is ideal for travel and makes for a hugely powerful but tiny solution. For less than three hundred pounds I have a superb fast drive

2 year warranty Well packaged, unopened. Good instructions very easy to install Crucial M2. Screwdriver and screws provided. I did not bother affixing the sticky front plate cover as I may need to undo the screws to swap the M2 in the future. Up and running in no more than 10 minutes. So far excellent, thank you

Used to house a new SSD drive during a migration process. The casing is very well made and comes with a screwdriver.Even though I've completed the migration job, I still use the kit to house an old SSD drive and connect it to my laptop for extra storage/backups.

This is an extremely effective unit however I bought this for the purpose of cloning an M2 Evo drive from Samsung but found out that this does not support NVMe drives.Windows picked up the transcend unit but not the drive that j had placed within it.

Does what it needs to, runs MacOS as a bootable drive without too much drama. Does get hot, and it looks like when the drive fails (as mine did) you have to rip off the front aluminium sticker which, going forward, ruins the aesthetics.

Nicely made. Feels very robust/solid. Ideal for housing many of the M.2 Format SSD's that are on the market. Just double check its suitability in connection with the SSD you are buying or have bought before you buy the unit.

This enclosure is USB3 and has a USB-C connector. It works fine with my SSD but installation is fiddly.Works fine with my 128GB Sandisk M.2 SSD, with fast read and write speeds (maxes out my old SSD)

Works well with Crucial mx500 1TB, it can get hot but I think it's due to fact that m.2 drives like to generate heat, but thanks to proper build it is disposing heat well, case is also solid.

Sturdy enclosure and works as intended. Very happy with Samsung EVO 860 512 GB drive in it. Apparently doesn´t support NVMe drives, so make sure to have a SATA drive instead.
