My 2 year old Cavachon is a prolific chewer, so went for this as the reviews were good regarding the length of time it takes to destroy it. I have bought other 'indestructible' toys which have gone in the bin within mins of the dog being given them. I went for the Hippo as I thought it had less things to chew off. Within minutes, the ears had gone and also the round disc feet. My heart sunk.... another waste of money I thought. I put a large treat inside and it won't come out - it has kept her amused for hours! It only arrived yesterday afternoon and it's STILL in once piece! She is having fun knocking it around with her nose trying to get to the treat, but as yet, she's been unsuccessful (evil owner)but love the way it's keeping her occupied and she is enjoying the game. I am going to buy another - I am so impressed and it's a great price too.

Fab little green elephant(?) Yes, as other reviewers have said, it does smell (it’s advertised as being scented to attract the dog) but its hardly overpowering and my dog didn’t mind in the slightest. I fill it with dry kibbles (Harringtons complete - his food anyway) and he spends a few minutes rolling it round with his nose and eating up the snacks as they drop out one at a time. I did cut all but one of the retaining “teeth” off at the mouth of the hole (easily, by stretching the rubber with one hand and cutting with scissors in the other) so it allowed for the kibbles to dispense. He’s not going to stick his tongue in the tiny hole to fish anything out - he’s a German shepherd x malamute, not an anteater! It’s just a means of slowing down his eating but also entertaining him for a little while - and to that end it works perfectly!

I've only given it 4 stars, although that one star could have been earnt if my dog hadn't manage to make a hole within the first 3 weeks. He is very hard on balls, usually destroying them within days, but this one has lasted since just after Christmas, so it's done really well. I did read one reviewer saying that the hairy bits inside the hole for the treats to come out of made it difficult for free-flowing treat time! So I had cut them off a little bit , too, only 'zippy' was ahead of me by just making another larger hole in the other side.I have recommended this to friends and others who have rough dogs , as it is also big enough to not get stuck under the sofa!

I have a Jack Russell who is nearly 3yrs old. She chews like crazy. I've bought so many toys for her in the hope of finding something durable and long lasting. We've had everything from rope toys, long, rougher and tuffer, tyre toys..you name it and she's destroyed it. Where do I begin with this toy...it's amasing! It's tough, it's bouncy, you can pop a treat inside and she can easily carry it in her mouth and play with it. It's not be destroyed yet and we've had if almost a month. It's kept her busy and you can see the kogs working in her head to try and get the treat out. Perfect! It's great value for the money and the service was quick and friendly. Thank you!!

So far, it is holding together nicely. I was very worried about wasting my money. My black lab has a bad habit of destroying toys within an hour, and that's being liberal on the time. She has been carrying this around all day, thoroughly enjoying herself, and to my surprise it has not broken, not even a dent. This toy has a lot of 'give', which she loves. I get worried she's broken it whenever I check, because it squeezes so much, but it just goes right back to form. I will update this review next week, if it has stood the test of time, then I shall give another star.

I struggled to find any treats small enough to fall out of the hole as it is- or maybe my dogs are just a little stupid! Therefore if you get some scissors and cut down the four plastic prongs covering the hole it make it much easier for your dog. Only use hard treats (i bought cheap kibble meant for tiny dogs) as soft treats will mush up and crumble everywhere, making a mess on the floor. My dogs are not heavy chewers- I get the impressions this would not last a heavy chewer/destroyer for too long but I do not know for sure!

I have 2 Dobermans who make light work of even the most sturdy ball. I bought the green and blue balls for them and what a revelation! These ball bounce, are light so can be thrown inside or outside. My dogs absolutely love these balls and even though we have had them for a few weeks, they have not made a dent in either of them. They both will bite the hell out of the ball and so far they have stayed in tact! These balls can be filled with treats as well. Absolutely bargain for £5.99 each and would definitely recommend!

I have bought two of these in different designs and keep the elephant for peanut buuter. He plays with both for a good hour each day. I alternate between this one and his other one which I use for liver pate. Easy to clean as well. Rinse under the tap to get ecess out (if there is any left lol) and then place in the dishwasher. PetSafe toys are the best ones out there as far as I am concerned. Worth paying more money for escellent durable toys for your dogs which give them (and us watching his manouvers) lots of fun.

Yeah finally, a beagle proof treat dispenser. Thoroughly recommend and he loves it. Although as per some of the other reviews you really do need a small treat size for this to work. After a while I nipped a few millimetres off the inside prongs with a pair of scissors (literally the finest bit) and this meant we had a wider selection of treats to choose to put inside. It really does bounce too, my beagle loves throwing it around. I enjoy watching him play with this.

I bought two for my dogs. The Collie usually destroys any toys including kongs, then steals the Gsd one and destroys it too.Easy to fill with usual dried food. Haven't needed to trim in order for treats to come out.So far 3 days of non stop play by both dogs and no damage. Last few treats more difficult to get out.Filled to brim when workmen were in and didn't hear peep out of our very vocal Gsd. Looking to buy other toys bin the range.

We are very pleased with this product. My 10 month old Doberman just loves to chew and he's been through so many toys that just last a matter of minutes.Although he chewed off the ears and feet of the blue hippo in less than 5 minutes, the rest of the hippo is surprisingly completely intact and looks almost as good as new. A really good purchase.. probably the longest lasting toy we've had so far (5 days and counting!)

This is a nifty little toy that my dog has not managed to destroy despite having for 2 months. Its about the size of a apple and is quite tough, i have a husky and she hasnt managed to tear it to pieces yet, but ive found that as she has gotten older, she is doing that less and less. The bit for the treat part is quite small though, i have been using it for cheesy bites.A good buy, i bought all 3 shapes.

Love our busy buddy. Our labrador puppy gets all his meals from these and kongs so it's nice to mix up the items (maybe more for us then him!)I particularly like this one as you can snip down little tabs just inside the opening to make it as easy or difficult as you want for the dog to get the food out.Used daily and hard wearing so far. Only downside is the time it takes to get the kibble in there!

Just the right size for my Yorkie, she can just about pick it up and when it bounces it goes in all directions because of the feet and arms so it's great for her to chase. I use tasty bite treats, sometimes they come out fairly quickly but I put a couple in and it keeps her entertained for 15 minutes or so. She sometimes gives out an exasperated grunt if she can't get them out quick enough, ha ha.

I think if they wanted to my dogs would destroy these in no time as they aren’t solid, however the texture and shape is interesting which has meant my 2 play with them as opposed to destroying them. The dispensing hole is easy to adjust, my dogs love them for this and it helps a lot to distract them when I have to leave them. A lot cheaper than Kong toys and worth a try to save money.
