This is the best, no the Greatest that I have ever got a bottle of this whisky as it was not just in a box it was in a beautiful tinpresentation box within the packing which I can keep my bottle after I have drank the contents which is really nice as to me this is special because I am an Irish man at heart being from Irish parents so I feel very happy with this box and thank this seller for some thing I can keep long after the whisky has gone. Not just a good seller but a thoughtful one as well Thank you. Today 26th of May 2015 I got my delivery of this whisky and I must just add that it was so well packed that it would take a lot of beating to do better.Thank you LIMATO.I must also add herethat I have bought more than one time this whisky so as this review has been put later than this review take each part as a single review.

I agreed with Brett H "pentangle" review. Both my wife and myself visited the Jameson distillery in Midleton, County Cork, where my wife tried out the whiskey sampling. She was given the bourbon to try first, which was awful. She chose Paddys over all the others without hesitation. And at the end she was given a further shot of Paddys.I regularly visit Ireland and bring back a two or three bottles of Paddys. In my opinion Paddys is the best compared to any other irish whiskey or scotch. Bushmills seems to be the nearest for taste and smoothness, but its still not quite as good as Paddys.Jameson whiskey maybe one of the most well known irish whiskeys but when you try Paddys; I doubt you will want another Jameson whiskey except,if its poured into an irish coffee. You've got to try Paddys it's pure nectar.

So coming from County Kerry in Ireland this whiskey was pretty much the only whiskey I knew growing up. When my Jamaican husband came to Ireland he & my father & uncles bonded over it & he always brought a few bottles back to London with him as its very hard to find over here. This year we didn't make it home for Christmas & he was lamenting not being able to get his Paddy's. So I thought, let me check Amazon & low & behold there it was! When he found them tucked up under the tree he was so delighted. He thought I had my parents send it for him, lol I dare not tell him I found it on Amazon or he'll be asking for it all the time. Lol

I am on my second bottle. I bought the first one on a punt and didn't regret it. This is a smooth, deeply malt whiskey that lingers on the palate. I like it with a drop of water but it's easily smooth enough to drink neat. Before this great find my favourite was J&B but it can be hard to get hold of except in Duty Free. I paid just £15 for each bottle whilst they were on offer, I would pay £20 if I had to. Liking this whiskey was quite a surprise to me, I have tried other Irish whiskeys but was never impressed. Shame the company is now American owned, Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it!

Truth-be-told, I only picked this Whiskey up because it happened to be on offer. Not that I expected it to taste like vinegar, but thought that it may be a little harsh to the taste ... but I'm (very) happy to say that this is a smooth, warming drink - and this is straight; undiluted and not mixed, although I can't wait to try this Whiskey with some Ginger Wine! When it comes to Irish Whiskey, I usually go for Jameson (my Grandfathers brand of choice), but I'd like to think that if he was still about, he'd certainly take to this too! Recommended.

I have had a soft spot for Paddys ever since I visited the Jameson distillery in Midleton, County Cork where it is made. At the end of the tour they called for 4 volunteers so my wife and I gave it a go. We were presented with three samples to try. First was a bourbon, which was frankly rough. Next was a Scotch, Johnnie Walker, which was a whole lot nicer. Finally a sample of Paddys Irish Whiskey and it was so smooth compared with the other two that I have been a disciple ever since! Enough said I think.

My order came today and later I had my first taste I have never tasted any thing like this it is like going to heaven and getting a drink made there as it feels so smooth all the way and not harsh one bit. You can definitely know that you have had a drink of the most beautifully made drink in all the world as it feels that you are in heaven, I must buy only this in future as there is nothing to compare. I have had many whisky's that are supposed to be great but this is without doubt the top of the shop.

Let me get this out of the way first off - I’m a Scot who loves Irish whiskey !I have many Scottish whiskeys but I love Irish! Especially Jamesons!!I bought this for £12, I have just tried this and I wish I had bought several more now.I would describe it as somewhere inbetween Jamesons and Bushmills, I like both so it will certainly work well for me.I think this shall be a go to whiskey for me from now on.Highly recommend this and if it’s on offer then buy a few as it will never go wrong !

This was on offer for £12.50. You have to be a whisky snob not to like this. No good if you like the peaty islay stuff but for us mere mortals who just like a nice whisky type drink and want to save a few quid, cant go wrong! I dont often buy from Amazon as grew tired proving I'm aged 18 plus when that was over 30 years ago but suffered the Amazon delivery stupidity for this bargain.

My wife bought me some of this back from Ireland recently and was a bit unsure at first as had not heard of paddy before. I'm normally a bourbon drinker and my favourite tipple is Woodford reserve and jd single barrel. I was pleasantly surprised as it's very smooth and easy to drink compared to scotch! Will look for another bottle once this one is finished......

Never tried Paddy's before, bought it many times only for my uncle to "borrow" it off me, so was expecting quite a harsh strong taste. I was wrong about that, very mellow to me anyway, nice taste and aftertaste and I bought at £16 which is a steal at any time. I would buy again.

Bought as a present for my Dad.We shared a few drams and was a nice bit of stuff! Ridiculously smooth unlike pretty much anyother whiskey ive had. Very easy to drink! I just have it on ots own and only thing i pit in it is another one!Give it a try wint be dissapointed

Its been a while since I have had Paddy, it’s a nice whiskey as the nearly empty bottle after one day shows hahahahhaha. Irish whiskeys are triple distilled and it makes a difference to taste and the next morning! Lol. I must get another bottle soon!

Title says it all. You cannot argue that this isn't one of the best flavoursome whiskies you have ever tried. I can go through one bottle in a night because it's so good. Highly recommend if you are a casual whisky drinker as this goes down a treat.

Better than many single malts I have tried, this was a pleasant surprise and works well straight unlike many other blends. Very smooth, slightly sweet finish, very moreish and tastes pricey. Will definitely buy this again.
