Bought as a gift for a departing colleague. Was looking for a decent rated Whiskey that they had most likely not tried before, have to admit, this one was new to me also but looking at the reviews, it seemed worth a go. Was decently priced for a Single Malt with good reviews and had an interesting bottle to go with it. I did read plenty of reviews advising the bottle shape made for highly impractical and a somewhat messy pour, but figured the recipient was smart enough to approach with caution and wouldnt grumble too much if he did lose a tiny drop. Note that some people mentioned a handy pouring spout that came with the bottle to prevent these issues, I however did not receive one of these?

After two bottles of this via duty free I was happy to see this on amazon. The bottle design causes a bit of spilling, more than you would want.... I ordered another bottle as a present via prime. It turned up with a shot pourer / nozzle attachment - a huge upgrade! or so I thought. Day two the metal part of the pourer comes free entierly, so more whisky wasted then ever before. Its a a nice whiskey but for the price? I lost a a fair bit of the contents to the poor pouring six sided bottle, or the one hit wonder shot pourer.

Typically we default to buying some form of Bushmills, Jamesons or Connemara for my brother-in-law. As it happened, this popped up in my feed at the right time, and also happened to be discounted at the right time too. I made an executive decision (read: didn't ask the wife) and bought this for my BiL's birthday. Fast forward to a week after said birthday and I received a message from the BiL saying that the whiskey was excellent and thanking us for adding another staple to his drinks cabinet.

Really like this whiskey. Decent body to it, great nose and easy drinker! Bottle looks great but is a shockingly poor design! Tried a number of ways of pouring but difficult not to spill down the side!! Sadly didn't get the pouring spout but they should provide this with every bottle. The fact they even did provide it at one point shows they know its a problem. Anyway the whiskey itself is really nice, so shame to see some if it miss the glass!

I really like this drink. I've never had it before and the bottle attracted me to it then read the reviews. I drink lots of varieties of Whiskies and I would not really class this as a typical whiskey. It feels more of a liqueur or a fruity almost brandy like drink. This one did not come with a pourer and it does spill some what, but not excessively. I would definitely buy again if becomes cheap enough.

An outstanding example of Irish Whiskey. The nose, taste and finish are first class. A wee bit of apple, fruit and maybe even cocoa are prevalent. The finish is super smooth and leaves you wanting more. The only snag was in the pouring as a little can be lost even with care in the pouring. I used a pourer attachment to stop this as you won't want to waste a drop!

Really enjoyed. Saw on offer...tbh I liked the quirky bottle (which will become a lamp!). I drink mainly Malt Whisky or rum so didn’t know what to expect.Dark appearance with a distinct whiskey nose. A smooth taste with a hint of honey and finishes with warmth.Different taste for me but one I enjoyed and will buy again. Didn’t spill any either!

Normally a scotch drinker but bought this for an Irish friends birthday. Bottle looks incredible and sets it apart as something a bit special and it was very well received. Sadly did not get to taste it so can not comment on the flavour but will endeavour to get his review and update.

PositiveWhat an absolute delight, there is no heat at all from less mature whiskey's. The lady who blended this knew exactly what.dhe was doing.NegativeCool bottle design and look but crap for pouring.Will be buying again but will decant but not because I'm posh.

This was really quite an enjoyable whiskey. It was very smooth and went down smoothly with ice. However, it also didn't wow me and leave me wanting more. I think it would make an excellent present for someone as the bottle design is certainly a talking point.

Bought it as a congratulations gift for a friend and they said they really loved it and thought the bottle was pretty cool too! I personally know nothing about whisky or alcohol for that matter to review but they loved their gift so here we are! :)

Got this for my 25 yr old son who loves his whiskey, as do i.. as it was a gift we wanted something that looked great as well as tasting good... it certainly looks more expensive than it is.. but worth every penny.. a very smooth tasting drink

Bought for a friend. Not knowing much about whiskey I bought it based on the fact that it was single malt and looked cool. Friend said it was really good and definitely worth the money! Also comes with a branded speed poured which was a hit

I bought this for My boyfriend he's wanted to try it for a while and because Amazon were selling it at £23 a bottle at the time (limited time deal) I couldn't resist. He said it was a really lovely whisky. Easy to drink. Nice flavours.

My Friend was surprised to see a gift like that. As he loves Whisky but he said haven't tried or seen this bottle and was amazed to have it. He messaged me the next day and said thanks bro loved the bottle and it taste superb:)
