This is chain lock is about as good as it gets for security. An expert lock picker on YouTube demonstrates picking the lock, but cutting or grinding it is going to take a lot of time. The big drawback is this thing is ridiculously heavy and large. I can feel the weight of it in my bike basket. However, I'd rather haul the thing around and feel secure about my bike then have the thing stolen.

After nearly two years of use this nearly looks as good as the day I bought it even after using it every other day to secure my scooter in the city centre. Brilliant deterrent. I always have it in my topbox but if you were putting in a rucksack or over your shoulder it would feel very heavy quite quickly. Lock mechanism still works a treat too even after nearly 2 years.

Brilliant. No one would ever take on a bike with this chain on it, the only question is how do you transport it to where you are going to use it? I thought ammo belt style over your shoulder.

Got this from my local shop, was a little stiff at first so put some wd40 in the lock and its been perfect ever since. Its a tough chain and a good brand. Would highly recommend!
