Just the right length and not too heavy to carry round with and lock your bike to something that doesn't move. I always lock up the rear wheel to a lamp post or similar in town to keep those thieving gits off my pride and joy

Had trouble accessing the lock once and had to grab the spare key from the house to open it. I always ride with the spare keys in my bag now. Apart from that it’s a good quality lock
