I have not worn this hoody out yet, but wanted to provide my review primarily based on sizing, as that was my biggest confusion area when purchasing. I wear an OR medium in both Trim and Standard fits - this hoody being the most 'trim.'The sizing on OR's website is accurate, so if you match up with those, this hoody should fit you 'fitted' - it won't be tight, and you can move your arms comfortably, it doesn't ride up, looks nice around your backside, etc, but it is close to your body.And, keep in mind this is a hoody, not a jacket. To me, the style (which i love, and looks awesome in person!!) gives the illusion of a jacket (meaning you would have a layer of your choosing underneath) - but,layers underneath would be limited (tanks, tight running shirt, etc) due to fitted nature of the hoody. Also, the texture of the inside of the arms feels great against your skin, but would tend to stick to many long sleeve shirts as others have noted. If you are looking for the jacket 'look' I think most would need to go up one size.for reference, my hip measurement is about 2" larger than the medium is listed on OR's website (I purchased the medium knowing this), and I consider the fit to be borderline snug (not compression fit or anything like that!! ;) ) vs. fitted. A tank top or light running shirt would be as much as I would have underneath. So if you are on the border of sizes, that might help to understand how much leeway you have in at least that measurement.Also, I agree with another post that mentions a bottom middle zip would be nice...but no deal breaker...and those with larger hips should consider up-sizing. all in all a great looking performance hoody!!

The theme of sizing that was recurring in many of the reviews will continue here.I own the men’s version of this hoodie and adore it for its versatility as an under layer or a jacket, the breathable when active, and it looks uniquely great! It’s something you can feel warm in when it’s 30-40 degrees, but you don’t have to take it off when you go inside.And so I bought one for my wife so we could corroborate on the greatness of this hoodie. I bought two actually, medium and large. And returned them both because they don’t fit. They look almost fantastic on her! But the size difference between medium and large is dramatic. The medium fits her torso as the measurements suggested they would,very snug but really cute. But what we didn’t expect was the arms and shoulders are not sized for someone with a muscular build (think crossfit). No problem, I ordered one size up like a lot of reviewers suggested. The jump in sizing is dramatic and the large is too loose to wear, except in the arms and shoulders, which are perfect.So until my they start making a size between medium and large, or my wife switches from CrossFit to cross country running, I’ll be wearing my hoodie alone, loving it.

I live in these. I have every one they make in men's medium and women's large. Best all around for doing virtually anything. Yes the sleeve's are tight on a muscled body like mine in both actually (men's and women's) but usually am not wearing over anything. Love the soft feel and it seems to regulate body temp wonderfully. Hood comes in handy, as well as zip pocket. Large hand pockets don't zip but have attachment for keys to keep safe if needed. It is the perfect piece of clothing....hands down

This is a great lightweight jacket that is very breathable. I am so happy with it. Recommend that you go up 1 whole size for women's. I wear slim fit clothes and am athletic, a XS in Madewell and Hanna Andersson, and I wear 6's at Lululemon. I have the Medium in this OR hoody and it's perfect. Their Small would not fit me, and I like very slim fit. Hope that helps someone on fit notes!I bought this after reading a summary of the best running jackets from Runner's World. Great jacket!

Love this jacket. It's the perfect weight for layering, combining warmth with breathability. I use it while biking so that combination is important. The fit is small. I'm 5' 1", 106 pounds and the extra small was too small. If you like jackets roomy or you think you'll layer thick shirts under it, order a size up. Of course, Amazon's return policy makes it easy to swap sizes if you need to.

Was not sure about sizing due to different and sometimes opposite reviews.Ordered my normal Medium. I am 165 sm (5’5) and max weight is ~ 70 kg (~157 Lb).Fits great with light t-shirt under as I was expected. I use this jacket under my new OR rain jacket (bought exactly the same color).Very comfortable.Thanks!

Definitely athletically slim fit. If you have hips - this will not be your jacket. Wish there was a 2-way zipper and zippered pockets. Otherwise a great, lightweight mid layer or light layer for chilly days/hikes/runs.

I bought this for a trip in early spring where I expected the temperature to vary significantly. Love this jacket. People commented on it and asked where I got it. It’s very versatile

Bought this for my wife. She loves it. 5 feet tall and 115 pounds the small fits perfectly. Keep in mind this is only a layering piece and not much of a hoody as OR describes it as

I love this hoody sweatshirt! I wore this on a hiking trip thru the Apls . I had this in my backpack for use as an extra layer, it was very comfortable and I loved wearing it!

I bought this jackets for a hiking trip to Himalayan mountain range in India for layering. It worked well. Lightweight for travel and easy to layer with.

Wife says "it's designed to run in. Not go to the mall. Long enough in the torso, but not long at all. If you are not "runner" thin, size up"

This is a great jacket! It is great for running in temperatures between 35 and 55. I love the fit and it is nice and long.

This jackets fits perfectly on me. I wish the pockets had zippers, otherwise I'm glad I purchased this jacket.
