We’ve always had good experience with Osprey for water packs and day packs. This is our first hiking pack, and it shows the same degree of quality and design. Short version is this is an excellent mid-size pack, well made, well constructed, and comfortable. Though of course that last is highly individual—try it on (with weight and walking some distance instead of around your living room) before taking it out on that four-night overnighter!Pros:Torso adjustment: No excuse nowadays to buy a pack without a good torso adjuster (if you’re still using an ancient pack without an easily -adjustable torso length, it’s way past time to upgrade!).

The quality of this Osprey pack is top notch. The construction is perfect and the materials used as premium as they come. The height is easily adjustable through a compressible metal prong, which is latched onto nylon loops on both sides of the pack. The back metal frame is very sturdy, separated from the pack, and covered with mesh to allow room for your back to breathe.This pack has the traditional layout I love: sleeping bag compartment on the bottom and main compartment on the top. The bottom compartment is big enough for a compressible down bag rated for zero degree F or under. For those who prefer not to have a separate sleeping bag compartment,

This backpack so far exceeded my expectations that I don't really know what to say!! This is the real deal. It's lightweight, well-made, has a comfort-moulded frame, and has very intelligent design for the pouches, pockets and stretch-straps. Do watch a video [you can check both youtube and the manufacturer's website] to get an idea for the best use of the various features - it's a lot. It has sternum and waist straps for keeping the load where you want it, and maintaining maximum comfort. The back pad is mesh and breathable. The shoulder straps are well-padded and adjustable. The rain cover is not only easy to access in the lowest rear zip pocket, but it's a bright contrasting neon,

This is a good sized pack, it is comfortable and feels good to carry. It is sturdy and well-made and has plenty of places to stash all of the supplies. I have used this on several trips and I feel I was more well-prepared than most. I like the rain covering, but I feel that if I was trying not to be seen and take cover somewhere in the woods then this would hinder my ability not to be seen since it is such a bright color. Overall, it is a comfortable and sturdy pack and does not cause pain in my neck and shoulders.

Brilliant rucksack, loads of space and comfortable to adjust as you’re walking. The one thing missing are trekking pole holders.

Easy to adjust, light and comfotable to wear and lots of storage sections. Love this backpack and the colour....perfect.

Used for 4 weeks backpacking/travelling round Vietnam, still as good as new. Comfortable to use/wear. Good quality.
