Erm... It's a shame to be writing this review. The rest of the BOTW amiibos have all been excellent with wonderful levels of detail and some great painting that really evokes the art style of the game. This figure, perhaps, not quite so much. The moulding detail is nice, bordering on the great around the belt and bodice, and I like the delicate features of the face and confidant pose. The painting, however, is just flat. There is none of the life and energy that is so evident in the painting of the other figures. It's like they've taken there inspiration not from the visual representation of Zelda but from her voice actors performance. Flat and a not quite right. This review sounds a little more negative then I intended (or then my score shows)but it's only really in comparison with the others in this series. Still, it's nice to finish off the collection and they now all sit proudly in the games cupboard. On a side not, I would like to encourage people to keep checking the availability of these through Amazon and the Nintendo Store rather than paying a mark up. They crop up quite often at the RRP but don't stay in stock for very long.

Just received this product today and I am absolutely in love with it! Amiibos are becoming harder and harder to acquire, as everyone is wanting to buy them for Super Smash Bros or Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as you can use them to get characters or special in game items in BOTW. I have been looking for these for such a long time, as they are always sold out on the Nintendo UK website. I snagged these for 49.99, which is the original price found on Nintendo UK. I've seen these going for 60-120 pounds, as 3rd party companies now they can rip you off by upselling these to people who really want them. I was glad I waited for these to come back in stock. The box and amiibos are in perfect condition and I see no damages to any of the amiibos. All in all I am extremely pleased with this product and will look forward to using them in BOTW and keeping them on my shelf with the rest of my figures and amiibos.

Kelly LeBrock, one of the great thinkers of our age, said that "love has many faces". Unfortunately the same can't be said of the Link Amiibo, who appears in this rendition as a shadowy faceless rider. Is he the hero of legend riding gallantly into the fray sword in hand or a man twisted by war and blinded by hate for Gannon, intent on vengeance? He gives nothing away. The Amiibo is, like the rest of this series, very nicely crafted with a wonderful level of detail (except the face). I really like the painting and think it does an excellent job of capturing the Breath of the Wild cel-shaded, almost impressionist, art style.I haven't opened Link yet and as such can't comment on what he brings to the game but I believe it will be the usual selection of crafting materials or equipment. I'm sure they would help but are by no means essential.

This link Amiibo looks cute and looks just like link in the the game the legend of Zelda links awaking its very nicely made and very detailed it looks and feels quite good quality too i really like having the Amiibo for the game BUT i would say its definitely not needed to change the gaming experience in any important way at all all you get is a purple ghost version of link called “shadow link” in the chambers you create and it stores them on the Amiibo for using your created chambers on a friends switch if you wanted too So for £14.99 you don’t really get much game play experience with this at all but i like Amiibos and its a cute looking well made figure for putting on a shelf and/or collectingthem So for me its worth my purchase as i think i will now start collecting them myself so this is my first but game charger NO

Fantastic addition to Breath of the Wild. The wolf link is fantastic, when you play Breath of the Wild, you can summon him once a day. He will stay with you until he dies. It is amazing to have a wolf wander along beside you. He will go off and hunt animals for you. If his hearts have been depleted from a fight then he will eat and restore them (you can also drop raw food for him). If you have your sheikah slate set to find something, when you are near it, the wolf link will guide you to it.Unfortunately I only managed to get 9 hearts on TP, but it makes a massive difference. I think that if you only had the standard 3 hearts that it comes with it would be frustrating,as he would die very quickly. There is just something really satisfying about running along and having a wolf running beside you.

I bought this for the new ACNL update as through this Amiibo you get Wolf Link in your town (Side note: He's amazing) And to be honest, I wasn't expecting what I got, the level of detail on the figure is astonishing. Midna's hat/helmet is easily the best part to highlight this the intricate design really elevates it to a higher level than if it was just a simple block of gray. And with Wolf Link, they could have been lazy and just painted on the strands of fur; but they didn't. There's a large amount of effort to get it to look like fur. The base as well is really nice, with the little bit of concrete with a chain attached to the leg, and the Hylian crest on the bottom. I personally am not a fan of the jagged tail, but that's my only criticism. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this.

A fantastic looking amiibo based on the Breath of the Wild version of Link and his horse. It’s surprisingly well detailed for an amiibo and even has little details painted on to his shield. It works with the Breath of the Wild game although I have only used it on the Switch but I believe it also works on the Wii U. To make it work on the Switch you have t go to the options menu and turn on the Amiibo settings. You then place the Amiibo over the right joystick. The Amiibo grants some random items mostly mushrooms for some reason and random weapons. If you are only looking to by this to add to your collection, you will not be disappointed.

The Bokoblin amiibo is a very nicely rendered representation of the ubiquitous Breath of the Wild baddie. He 's much smaller than the other figures in this series but has nice sharp painting with some lovely colour on the ears.Unfortunately the picture on the card back (it's the nicest looking box of any amiibo so far) makes the Bokoblin look like he's wearing a little white hat. I think he looks great in a little white hat and get a tinge of sadness every time I look at him and realise it's not included.I've not tried him out in game yet but it probably gives you some goodies associated with the Bokoblins.

As a model: this is yet another quality miniature from Nintendo that is perfect in detail and I really like the blue eye and poseable legs.As an Amiibo: Having played Zelda BOTW to the halfway point, I purchased this amiibo for it's in-game bonuses. I wish I'd bought it earlier as the regular daily delivery of 3 metal boxes (each contains 1 ancient part and an arrow or gem) and 1 chest (which contains an ancient weapon or ancient core) really help you get the ancient weapons and arrows that help with killing those pesky guardians that can be so devastating early on in the game.

Finally found this at a reasonable price. I'm using it for Animal Crossing Welcome Amiibo and bringing Wolf Link into my campsite. I've also being inviting other players into my game to allow them the experience. Eventually I'll invite him to my town to once I'm done ordering from the campsite in game. The functionality has so far been great. The actual figure is well made and detailed. Bringing back fun memories of playing Twighlight Princess on the Wii. All round, well worth buying with cross platform functionality.

Arrived with great detail. Although smaller than expected, it has a nice touch of high quality to it, and the paint work is very well done. A bit overpriced (most probably due to COVID), as on Nintendo website it is around £12 instead of £29 at the time of buying on amazon.Works very well with Amiibo and has so far given me new horse armour, weapons and shields, and plenty of ingredients to use for cooking and elixirs.

The Amiibos released to coincide with the release of Breath of the Wild are really something special. Very well detailed and nicely painted, perfectly mirroring the games art design, they are the best series of Amiibos thus far.The Guardian Amiibo is very large and beautifully detailed. It's a lovely collectors piece and apparently adds some nice items in game but I haven't plucked up the courage to open it yet.

Great quality. Composed of a softish plastic, though not posable. Colours look great. Almost looks like a chess piece and so, looks great even as an ornament. As it happens however, I use it often to get a whole range of useful mushrooms delivered from the heavens together with a decent weapon. One use permitted per day. For the price, it's a steal and bring another dimension to Zelda.

A nice little Amiibo of the Toon version of Zelda. The painting is well done and looks excellent which I think is down to the style of character being more cartoony then realistic like the Smash Bros Amiibo's. It is a shame that Nintendo failed to make enough of these and they are now going for insane prices as many fans will now miss out.Looks great with the Toon Link Amiibo.

Love this Amiibo, even if the guardians are a pain. It's big, I mean, it's legs span the whole of the "?-mark" amiibo case. You can bend the legs, but I don't bother. If you play Breath of the Wild, this will give you ancient parts. It even gives you an ancient core occasionally, the one thing I have difficulty finding in the game.Best of all, it looks fantastic.
