The game was a game boy game years ago and was remade from the ground up for the Switch and you can tell within the opening scene that it was a true labour of love, everything has been made with such attention to detail, the soundtrack is amazing the gameplay is so wonderful & the story is beautiful. The new additions to this version like Dampes hut (a section of the game that allows you to complete challenges and even build your own dungeons) is a lovely touch. It really is a dream come true.

I played this the first time on the original game boy. The new version is gorgeous and still retains so much of the original. The sounds in the village especially brought back memories. I played on the easier mode and think I would have been better off on the hard mode. That said, I still found the game entertaining and the puzzles challenging. Brilliant first LOZ game for kids to play. It's much more simple and linear than games like twilight princess with lots of fun characters to meet.

I remember this game fondly many hours spent as a kid playing this fantastic title. So was over the moon to replay a classic but remastered!. And it doesn’t disappoint it made me feel like I was 5 years old again they’ve nailed this perfectly updating the game but leaving the core mechanics that made it so good!. Highly recommended I may be blinded by nostalgia slightly but nevertheless it’s still worth picking up. Only complaint is it’s a tad to easy even on hard mode.

This game reminds me of a game I loved called Fantasy Life which came to the 3DS. Link’s Awakening is pretty hard and complex I feel and I’ve needed to use a walkthrough to make satisfying progress and also watched some gameplays. Still it’s a really good game if you want a challenge. The graphics are beautiful and the story line is great. The text is well balanced with gameplay. There isn’t too much reading and watching so plenty of chance to get stuck in and play.

Another zelda classic. So happy that has made the switch. Not a main zelda title game like botw, ocarina of time, twilight Princess or wind waker. But we'll worth a go specially if you're a zelda fan. Some people that are new to the series from the botw may well not appreciate it as much though

An incredible revisit to the 1993 classic. You’ll become immediately hooked once again if you loved this title all those years back; a immediate sense of nostalgia is felt but with something new for the current era. A fitting title for new and casual gamers too, they’ve instantly fall in love.

This game was released years ago, but being able to play it with these revamped graphics and a new engine is truly fantastic. Especially for those of you with kids who have maybe not played the game yet - this is the perfect game to get them into a franchise that they will grow up loving.

I’m slightly too young to have played the original version but this one is absolutely amazing. Beautiful graphics and some familiar characters making an appearance. Great fun to play with a few challenging puzzles. A little short for my liking but worth it non the less.

Reminds me of the 90's SNES version, only this time I am playing along side with my 10 year old daughter. Moderate difficulty compared with the original. I think I'll dig out my snes and play it again after we finish this. Good addition to anybody's switch collection.

A fantastic remake of a game boy classic. Link's Awakening may not be the most challenging game in the series, but the gorgeous graphics and charming soundtrack more than make up for the relatively forgiving puzzles. Definitely something you'll be replaying again.

A great addition to breath of the wild and feels more of a puzzle game rather than the epic adventure. Which is good! Faithful recreation, and highly addictive with plenty of charm. This, legend of Zelda and Breath are now my top three Zelda games of all time.

Fantastic remake of arguably one of the best Zelda games made. It's one of the first games that made me a gamer today and not a disappointment in the slightest. Only negative I could give it is that some of the bosses feel much easier than they once were.

Enjoyable game with simple but good controls (When the switch controllers are working). There are a few times where it is unclear where to go next and there are no hints. Although not a terribly large map, this does lead to frustration. Brilliant music.

I purchased this switch game a week ago and have had a great time playing it ever since. The story is easy to follow and i love the updated graphics and gameplay. Many tasks to complete and lots of fun things to find. Would definitely recommend *****

Great remake, graphics are brilliant, you can play in hero mode if you want a little extra challenge. Music is great too, only downside is there is a little stutter and drop of frame rate in some areas, but doesn't detract from the overall experience
