These are among the best training shoes that I own, which is interesting since I had never heard of new balance as a range before being supplied these to review, I would not hesitate to recommend them to others or purchase some shoes from this brand range again in future.I do, however, think that they are better suited, at least for me, as fashion trainers as opposed to running shoes. They are incredibly light, probably the very lightest footwear that I own, however, as a result there is a kind of "wind chill" as the wind does go right through them and they are not water proof at all, the average shower of rain is going to leave your feet soaked, let alone running through puddles.The sole of the show is also flat,

I have been using these trainers exclusively in the gym for the last few weeks and have been very impressed. They are very, very lightweight compared to the usual trainer, and are very comfy to use, especially when running long distances on the treadmill. The insoles have held up well and have "moulded" to the shape of my feet making them even more comfortable when in use, and the fit was as expected.The design of these New Balance trainers are pretty basic but also pretty stylish and go with most gym wear, and subtle inclusion of the NB logo on them is a very nice touch and one that which I actually prefer. They were put through the washing machine after 2 weeks' gym use,

I found these to be really comfortable to wear, plenty of room in the toe area, a good width and true to size.The uppers are an open fabric design that lets in lots of air to keep your feet fresh but don’t get caught in the rain whilst wearing them as your feet will get wet very quickly.The heel area has a good amount of padding and holds your foot in place so no rubbing, which is normally where cheaper trainers cause me blisters.The insole has an adequate amount of padding but could be better.They are ideal to wear to work if you spend a lot of time on your feet and the all over black colour is acceptable in most workplaces.Price is about average for branded trainers with similar fabric uppers

I'm not an athlete, I don't mind a walk on pavements avoiding mud and puddles.These running shoes are light, comfortable, easy to wear and easy on the feet when walking.The stretchy cloth uppers was a new one on me, but I'm old! it makes for flexibility in an upper and wet feet in the rain. Well to be honest I've never found a fully waterproof trainer, I can't afford GorTex so with these you just get instant wet feet rather than eventual wet feet.I'm sure real runners know all this and live with it, I still remember leather football boots with dubbin and nail in studs!!I like these comfy trainers/running shoes and will enjoy strolling about in them on fine days.

Very comfortable and light shoe, it has practically all the upper part of a very light and super breathable mesh, it does not look very resistant to see how it is with the kms. the sole is the best I have put it in places that a pure and hard trail has slipped me but this type of hexagon adapts to any surface. That yes the shoe itself would use more to get the dog out comfortably than for any type of running ... it does not have any stability but it grips with fear, they are very comfortable, cool and with a beautiful style.

Perhaps a little smaller than I expected for a size 10 wide. My big toe is at the end with little wiggle room. Some other size 10s give me a little more wiggle room. The do fit. They are comfortable. They don’t appear as cushioned as my other running shoes but when running in them they felt fine and comfortable. They look good. They appear to be well made. Would have liked a little more wiggle room but these are reasonable quality comfortable running shoes which will do the job required. Good.

Nice pear of running shoes, comfortable to wear but less padded than others i owned. the fabric and design allows the feet to breath, decent grip on the sole. The size fitted fine. One thing i dislike is a cosmetic thing, is that they use a white glue on the sole and it shows alot as its a black trainer. Other than that they are a nice pair of running shoes, but i think there is plenty of other options out there at the price tag these go for.

This is a running shoe, but I bought it for walking. Primarily I was looking for light weight with a flexible, rather than a rigid sole. I do some running on a high school track and it is comfortable there. Have not used this shoe for street or trail running. I have found over the years that New Balance running shoes have worked for me as I require a high toe box. This shoe is no exception.

Store totally recommended. Very serious people. Good prices (I think the best). Minimal shipping costs (2.50). Ordered on Thursday afternoon and arrived on Tuesday. Fast even with the one that is falling. I compared in the future. Ah! The shoes are very comfortable. Perfect narrow last for my feet. Very light. I wanted them to walk and they exceed expectations.

OK. Black at the bottom of my legs with white socks looks very different, but then years ago my son refused to buy a really great pair of Nike spikes and said, "I wouldn't be caught dead in pink spikes!" On the road these shoes feel so much better than the old, wornout shoes I have been wearing and I ran nearly a minute/K faster while just on a breakin run.

Wasn’t expecting a whole lot. I’ve owned many new balance shoes and they’ve all served me well. Bough these as a casual knock around sneaker so they won’t see harsh intense use. Breathes very well and they’re very soft walking. So far so good. Fit was right on the money with my usual shoe size. Good for a quality knock around casual sneaker.

Full disclosure, I am a recreational runner, good for 20 ish miles per week. I wear a 10.5 4E shoe, and the pair I bought was a perfect fit. The shoes look nice, are light, and give good support. I only rated this 4 stars because New Balance shoes wear out rather quickly (these are not my first pair). Otherwise, a very nice shoe.

I bought these for my husband and he is very particular with shoes, so I was originally reluctant to buy. The first pair I bought was slightly too tight. I went up 1/2 size and they fit great. My husband said they are very comfortable and he lives that the sole is black as he doesn't like the look of white souls.

I bought these shoes for my husband since he has so many problems with his feet that his podiatrist recommended New Balance. These are so comfortable for him, he wears them all the time, great arch support and they're so lightweight and the material is breathable so they're great for the hot weather in Florida.

Foam is great, replacing two year old New Balance running shoe, and I don't run. These are a bit narrow, curious if I should have gone with a wide. They should expand after a couple of weeks? If you are unsure between the running shoe and cross trainer, go with the running shoe, more comfort and lighter.
