I've softmodded my XBOX so I can run XBMC on it, and the controller/receiver combination is a real quality item, well worth 5 stars.The looks (black and green) are of their time, but then this is for an Xbox, so I don't expect that's an issue to someone buying this.You'll be pleased to hear that it has excellent range, it seems to pick up signals from the remote from almost any angle, and the battery in the remote has lasted a full 4 years and counting! That's with weekly, sometimes daily, use.This an ideal controller for anyone running XBMC, or indeed just wanting to use their XBOX to run DVDs. Great product.

I use this DVD controller to control my XBOX running XBMC. The controller works fine and is slightly better then the non MS one I now use on my XBOX upstairs. Neither have great range but I don't live in a mansion so they are OK for me. Delivery was as promised. Customer happy with price and performance and as I can't say N/A for the star ratings I've given 4 for the controller and 5 for the delivery etc.

great even came with batteries included. Although they are a little flat and I have to get the remote close to the reciver (plugs into a controller port on the xbox). I wish the battries were AA not AAA (littel ones) as I dont have any spares lying around the house.

I can barely remember buying this item. It really did work very well, so much so it has changed hands several times in the last eight years or so and is still giving good service someone somewhere..

Item was second hand, it was really dirty on arrival. But after a clean with disinfectant wipes it fits Xbox machine and works well.

Great Product as now can watch my DVD collection on the older machine up stairs on my TV . Perfect
