In practice, although it feels creamy & soft on the back of the hand, when outlining the lips I find the liner a bit hard in texture and therefore it drags a little.However, once in situ it does last well and, as it is close to the shade of one of my favourite lipsticks, it doesn’t look like there is a vastly different coloured outline, an effect I am not keen on.? Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lipliner 08 Gone Griege is a lovely lip liner for the one main reason it blends in with my lip colour as well as my lipstick, yet still providing me with everything I want from a lipliner. It stops my lipstick bleeding and gives me an outline to follow when applying my lipstick.It is a browny pink colour and the pencil is really soft therefore it does not tear on the delicate skin of my lips. I drew an "X" at my cupids bow as directed by Maybelline helps me create the perfect outline for me to follow especially the area surrounding the cupids bow. This then helps me create the perfect painted lip area.The main reason I do love this lip pencil is the softness of the product,

L'Oréal======They are the largest cosmetics company in the world. They have loads of brands from Garnier, L'Oréal and have huge research facilities in respect of cosmetics. Just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're the best. Equally, just because they're the biggest doesn't mean they're evil. I've tested loads of L'Oréal stuff ranging from WOW this should be on the NHS to Oh my golly gosh-this is dreadful.This is under their Maybelline brand.OK? Let's go..WHAT IS IT=========A Maybelline lip liner. Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lipliner 96 Plum Passion is one lip liner I am happy to recommend as for the one main reason it stays put when applied.I love the colour as it blends in with a few of my lipsticks.I also like the fact it is so easy to apply as it glides on to my lips without the need of me having to use the lipliner repeatedly throughout the day. It is the perfect lipliner if you want to keep a perfect shape for your lips and the added bonus it also helps by preventing my lipstick from bleeding into the fine lines around my mouth which can look very aging.Happy to recommend.

Part of a range with matching lipstick this lip liner helps your lipstick stay put and defines your lip. Comes in a range of 21 shades, I tested gone griege and plum passion and I thought the colours were just OK for the benefit of the review it would have made sense to have the lipstick also. Gone Griege was an earthy tone, which I didn't really like. I also found the stroke achieved thicker than expected. But I'm used to pencil liners. This is a creamy liner.It didn't wash off or rub off easily, I used makeup remover.

This doesn't go on well. It's a beautiful colour, rich and dark and strong. It is nice and soft, but it goes on sort of lumpy, not a smooth line of colour. it has little darker bits in the line, kinda draggy. Once it is on, it stays on surprisingly well. I have had it on all day with a particularly glossy and slidey lip colour and it has NOT bled. That alone is impressive. It has a little plastic sharpener on the end, which I will never use. This is twist up pencil, which I like very much. I do recommend this.

'Greige' doesn't really do the colour of this lip liner justice, it's a lovely pinky brown colour which gave my lips a hint of natural colour. It's easy to blend over the lips, or over a neutral lip balm if you want to use it as an all over colour. I don't really have a problem with my lipstick spreading, but it did provide a nice outline when used with lipstick, without leaving an obvious tell-tale line. Great value but good quality as you would expect from Maybelline.

A good quality lip liner that helps keeps lipstick from bleeding out into the fine lines areound the lips and causing “feathering” .The lip liner has a twist up design which is a good way to avoid the lead breaking with sharpening in the traditional manner with a pencil sharpener.Once in place the lip liner is pretty good at staying put, it only smudged after a firm rub and stayed put even after eating.

This is a really lovely nude rose colour. It is a wind up liner which normally I dont like as it cant be sharpened. However I find this one gives a really natural look so you can really use it to outline your lips well with out any obviously lines. It doesnt have great staying power though so doesnt bees to be reapplied if you want it to last all day. But would work fab for a night out.

I love how soft the liners in this range are. I was put off from using lipliners when I was younger because they were so hard and dragged sharply on my lips. This range is so soft, I’ve been tempted to fill in my whole lip with just the pencil... not just tempted, I have done... a couple of times.The colour is great, good pigment, strong and deep, lasts really well too.

This is a lovely colour and I use it to cover my lips as a base for lipstick. Works very well and prevents the patchy look as lipstick wears off.It goes on smoothly without dragging and you could wear it on its own without lipstick if you like a matt effect.I like this lipliner. It's a good quality item and lasts well. It doesn't need constant sharpening.

We loved the Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lipliner 08 Gone Griege colour, it matched well with the Sensational Shine Compulsion Lipstick, 60 Chocolate Lust lipstick.This lip liner was very easy to apply, having a soft nib. with no smudging and provided a perfect line for the lipstick to follow. It also stayed on all day, along with the lipstick.

I usually use brighter lip liners that go with the colour I'm wearing, but I like the idea of using a liner that goes closely with my natural lip colour - which this does - so I don't need to have many liners in my arsenal. This lovely soft neutral goes on easily and helps keep whatever lipstick I wear within my lip line. Glad it doesn't need a sharpener.

This is hydrating without creating or sitting in lines on the lips. The shade dusty rose is perfect to enhance the lips and make them even. Its is a very natural shade which suits all skin tones. Lasting power isn't bad at all (5-7 hrs).The packaging is small and discreet. It fits in jeans pocket without being noticeable at all.
