Make up manufacturers know they are onto a winner as they sell slight differentiation on the same product as we are all unique. One foundation will suit you, but the same shade from another company does not. You end up having to spend ages looking for a collection of make up from all over the place to get the perfect look, only for you to get older and require a new one!If Maybelline can produce a collection of lipstick that is universal to all then they should be able to sell them to everyone and make a fortune! The 'Sensational Made For All' collection provides several shades that are meant to work across all skin tones. As someone who can only attest to the lighter side of pale, both the 'Ruby for You' and the 'All Bright Pink' are good lipsticks. They are suitable to wear during the day or night and are long lasting. The reason that they may work for most people is that they are a little on the generic side. The matte finish makes them long lasting, but stops it from being too intrusive. Even the highly charged sounding 'Bright Pink' is actually on the conservative side of that tone. If you are truly looking for the one lipstick that will be forever you, this range won't provide the options. But as a set of solid colours to have on standby they are great - and you can share them with mates if so desired.

I have said it so many times that I love Maybelline make up products. I truly believe Maybelline offers quality make up at very affordable prices. These lipsticks have affirmed my continued belief.I have happily tried several shades in this range including.Ruby For You - The perfect red in a lipstick! Deep, rich, classic. A Luscious Evening Red or Statement Red Shade!Red For You - (Matte) A shade slightly lighter than Ruby For You but still a very rich red.Fuschia For You - A deep pinky red, Fuschia is the perfect colour name.Plum For You - A deep rich berry plum shade. These are quality lipsticks from Maybelline. Each of the colours are highly pigmented and look fantastic on.The liptsicks have a creamy texture and just glide onto the lips. Lipstick feels good on the lips and doesn't dry lips out at all. Colour is long lasting and only needs topping up every few hours. The lipsticks have a sweetie smell which I don't mind at all and I would advise to not let that put you off trying this fabulous range.Quality lipsticks from Maybelline offering a good beauty investment and value for money.I would recommond anyone to try these!!

WOW LIPS=========Lipstick is one of the best accessories that you can wear. Most are fine, some are good, whilst some are excellent. The excellent ones are easy to apply, maintain their colour, and don't bleed. This is a lovely little lipstick. This is one of the better ones. It adds lip colour to your lips and you can add definition with a lip liner.Because of the combination I think it can pull together your entire look.COLOUR=======Nude lipsticks are fine but for me it's a coloured lipstick that works on all skin tones. You can be fair or dark skinned and a good coloured lipstick can set off your look.PROSnice plum colourGood brandboldlasts about 6 hoursno bleedingmodernAPPLICATION===========Applyto lips and it lasts for 6 hours or moreCONS=====none so farTESTING=======In the evening whilst out (obviously for the purpose of the review) I only had to apply once all night with the colour staying on throughout the whole evening.OVERALL========If you're after a reasonably priced lipstick this is one to put on your shortlist.

We have tested a few different ones of these lipsticks and we are impressed by the fantastic colours and the soft creamy texture. We tried:-Pink. A very good colour. Not a sharp pink and likely, along with the Mauve, the most neutral of the colours we have tested in this range- Mauve. Another lovely colour which also covers well and is lovely on the lips.- Fuchsia. A quite dramatic light red. Great colour, but maybe not for everyday wear for us.- Red. A matte red. Lovely, creamy and beautiful colour- Ruby. We'd say the perfect red, but also quite dramatic and possibly not one we'd wear outside a party atmosphere.- Plum. Lovely dark plum colour. They all look great and are soft on the lips.It comes with a flowery/fruity smell that is quite strong and to be honest we would rather be without and that's taking the otherwise very high star rating a bit down. The packaging of the individual lipsticks corresponds very well to the colours of the lipsticks and the "red for me" colour is also matte on the container whereas the others are shiny. We like it.

This is a comparatively cheap lipstick compared to the usual Lancome ones I buy, but I must say, this turned out to be an excellant choice! The colour looks a little odd at first, as if its going to be quite cold and hard purplish on, but it fact it turned out to be a slightly deeper version of my own lip colour, so suited me admirably. I like the texture, which is creamy and slightly glossy, but not too much so, went on a treat and stayed on for quite a while. I took this on a cruise to the Canary Islands and wore it for the day and dressed up for the evening (went really well with a deep burgundy formal jumpsuit) it managed to look right for both sets of clothes.I would say its just the right side of a flattering nude effect, but far more elegant and grown up. As soon as I got back home, I bought an extra two identical ones in the nearest stockists to put in different handbags, that is how much I like it, and at a reasonable price, you can afford to do so. Would highly recommend this lovely lipstick.

This lipstick comes in a conventional lipstick case, which shows the colour on the inside. The lipstick itself is easy to apply, and satisfyingly is also quite moisturising on the lips. The colour intensity is good, its easy to get a rich colour applied which is close to how it looks on the stick. A little smell or flavouring would have been a nice touch as the smell is oddly bland and not pleasant at first. However once applied, the lipstick is quite glossy and the consistency of the lipstick is soft enough to apply smoothly and evenly in just a couple of strokes, but not so creamy that it bleeds outside the lip area. The mauve colour tried was not flashy, but actually fairly neutral and suitable for day to day use, though it didn't last more than a couple of hours before fading, and I had to apply again after eating. All in all this has a surprisingly quality feel for the price range but if you need something that lasts a whole evening you might need to go for a more expensive product.

I will strive to attach a photo but haven't worked out how to yet! This Plum for You lipstick was much better than I'd expected. The colour apparently adapts to your skin tone. I'm not sure how ... but after applying it certainly looked good.It is certainly very intense and a deep pinky plum colour that applied and stayed well.Unlike so many lipsticks it didn't feather and a couple of cups of tea later had maintained excellent colour. I probably don't go for something this deep and dark (unless very tanned) but the colour was lovely and a couple of friends have commented how striking and smart it looks. It is not quite as moisturising as my usual lipstick and a couple of times I have added some lip balm over the top. However, it is winter and my lips are more prone to drying out.The colour was still evident in the evening and I used my normal make up cleanser to remove what was left. This is a superb lipstick and I'm enjoying wearing it. The outer case looks lovely too. Enjoy!

I'm a huge fan of red lipstick, and I have quite a collection - all slightly different. Would this be the one to replace them all? Well, maybe...It's a lovely creamy texture, which doesn't feather or bleed. The pigment is intense, and long lasting - I needed a touch up after lunch, but it lasted a working day and into the evening. This is a nice clear pillar box red, which I think suits my skin tone anyway, so I can't make a judgement on its universality. Initially the lipstick had quite a floral taste, but that soon wore off.The finish of the lipstick is matte, which I think is more flattering than shiny or satin finishes, especially as I'm getting older. The only reason I wouldn't just keep this one lipstick in my bag is that it's a lipstick - I've been using lipstains a lot lately, and have got used to using the built in foam applicators, not using a brush (and carrying one around!)An excellent lipstick for the price point (£7.99 at time of review)

This lippie comes in a bright, attractive, easy-open tube, the colour of which comes really close to the colour of the product. The shade is a mix of a light pink, orange and mid-brown, and is one of those lovely 'neutral' colours that will suit any skin tone and/or age.It isn't quite a matte colour, and it's also not a shiny one; it's somewhere in between, with the slightest sheen. It glides on easily and evenly, and I only needed 2 light passes on my upper and lower lips to even the colour up.It lasts well - through several hot drinks, some lunch and crisps, with only the middle part of my lips needing a touch-up, and, I was impressed that it didn't bleed outside of my lip line. I got about 4/5 hours'use before I needed to touch up.It has a lovely sweet chocolate/candy scent that isn't overpowering and which does fade after a while, so it's not sickly. For the price and performance of this product, I'd have expected to pay more.

I loved the colour of this certainly a deep one purple but not gothic purple more of a deep magenta one. The staying power of it good yes will give it that. Not known a lipstick that has so much staying power. Even when taking off after a days wearing it still seemed to stain my lips, now if that is good or bad well if wanting to wear a lighter colour not so good. Used baby oil and that tends to remove most stubborn lipsticks this one however it had a hard time doing so.So yes I love the colour and it doesn’t dry out my lips. The reason four stars is that it seemed to bleed during the day. So the sides of my mouth well would have resembled a clown if the colour had been red.Might be best wearing or using a lip treatment to stop bleeding of deep colours when using this. Best checking out the colours in a shop too if you can as to me I wouldn’t call this a plum colour much too deep pink undertones in it.

A classy yet affordable lipstick from Maybelline, I got it in a vivid shade of red, which is reflected by the colour of the casing, surrounded by a band of gold at the base. This line claims to suit everyone, and to that end, the shades definitely seem well chosen - they are bright, rich and opaque, and it only takes a couple of swipes to get full cover. I like how it feels - comfortable without feeling thick or heavy, and I applied it over a light layer of lip balm to keep my lips moisturised. When not eating or drinking, it lasted without deterioration, I removed it before I ate, though, as I thought it would be worse to end up with accidental red smears from over-enthusiasm lol,so I can't talk about how it transfers.I love the colour and it brings out a healthy glow in my brown tone skin, but it is a loud colour for every day - I'd keep this more for evenings, low lights, or occasions.

The unique selling point of this 'Made For All' range of lipstick is that it's designed to suit all skin tones. Judging by the model shots it does just that. As a result it also follows that if you make a purchase, it's very unlikely it will clash with your complexion, so you won't be wasting your money on something you can't wear!Going from subtle to striking, the current range of six shades is limited, but still wide enough to cover most eventualities. The colours aren't of-the-wall, but if you're looking for that it's a different ballgame. This is more an everyday elegant, safe range than bold or unusual statement to ruffle feathers. The quality is good - as you'd expect from a big brand - and they apply smoothly with good durability and average to good transfer. The coverage of the darker reds seems a little better than the lighter pinks. These lispticks punch above their weight for the price point.Super lightweight gel type formula, super pigmented, you're not aware of there being a product on the lips but they are moisturising without being waxy.Being super pigmented they last an average duration without bleeding or feathering, without having to use a lip liner. They're all strong colours so you'd soon notice if they misbehaved! The colours are all statement lips - have to pair up eye make up to suit. My husband did notice them and commented positively - and that's for all three colours I have!I've taken off one star for the packaging. It is functional, the bullet is the same colour as the lipstick which is handy, but it isn't terribly attractive - just basic and functional. In the photo I have put my three in order L-R being Ruby, Fuschia and Mauve

On a light skin this looks to be a medium pink, not nude exactly but not very bright. Quite a good day time colour. As a twist up lip stick it contains a reasonable amount of product. The cover comes down to the base so is less likey to come off in your bag than the covers then stop at the middle. It has little taste or smell, but comes off easily with normal eating and drinking, although if kept on for several hours without disruption does colour the lips a little when wiped. There is an ingredient list on the case in a pull apart label, it has the tinest writing, you need good eyes and light to make it out. There is a lot of ingredients but most likely the colours are ‘may contain’ as manufacturers like making one label for their whole product range than specifically per shade

I'm a sucker for the marketing pitch of this lipstick: a handful of shades that fit all skintones - make-up does politicised inclusivity: yay! But actually, the lipstick is good, too. It's nicely pigmented, goes on smoothly with a single swipe, lasts a few hours and feels light on. It's not too drying either. The finish is not high-gloss but not matte either. This does need a couple of reapplications during the day but gives a good strong pop of colour, even the more muted shades. And I love that the outer case matches the shade so they're easy to tell apart in your make-up bag.Red: a clear scarlet, has a slightly more matte finishFuchsia: not a classic fuchsia, but a pinky-redRuby: a darker redMauve: a pinky-purple nudePlum: a slightly muted red with blue undertones
