I have pale skin and tend to opt for ivory or porcelain foundation shades. This ‘light’ palette suits by skin tone perfectly. The light matte on the left side is used as a concealer below the eyes, the forehead and chin and also doubles as a corrector. The pearlescent darker shade on the right is used to add a mild shimmer; below the eyebrows and around your eyes and nose. I tend to use this on my cheek bones as it adds a very subtle shimmer. Both shades have a creamy texture and a lightweight feel on the face. I’ve found that this product works best applied with a small sponge or your fingertips. I tried a small kabuki brush but I didn’t have much success with this method of application.

This is amazing! Thank you to the lady in the reviews, who stated she was of mature years, saying how good this is. I've used it for the first time, today, and absolutely love it! The left side i used with a short, firm eyeshaddow brush to use as a concealer. I don't wear foundation, and have some dark circles under my eyes, but not puffy. With hardly any pressure with the brush, all the usual concealing areas were covered, looking totally natural, i put a light stroke on the eye lids and under brows, then used the other side of this due set for my lids and in the crease, to give the faintest of sparkle and slightest of depth. It's a lovely texture. Dries to a satin slightly matte finish,

Being a lady of more mature years I have to be very careful with highlighting products as they can accentuate fine lines and wrinkles and make you look older. This is absolutely amazing. Used with the proper brush, a wide loose soft brush, This gives a really natural look. You must use this sparingly. I gently brushed some of this onto my cheekbones and the centre of my nose and forehead and it gives your skin luminosity. I can honestly say that this is one of the best highlighters I have ever used and this will be a definite staple in my make up bag. Both colours are wonderful. Really natural and go on beautifully. This is a new favourite and staple in my make up bag. Would absolutely definitely buy this again.

Though I'm not a fan of full-face makeup, sometimes you do want to get your face on and you want to make your skin look, well, healthier. This would do the trick - this is a combo compact of a glowy highlighter and a foundation/corrector (both of which look good on my face) which is easy to carry in a purse or travel bag. Application was good and the products blended on my skin well - you can build to the coverage/glow you want. There's no applicator provided so I mostly just used my fingers to apply and blend, but it also worked well with a foundation brush (not a fan of sponges). I got the medium shade which is a bit darker for my pale cool skin than I would like but it's not bad,

This is a duo pallet of highlighters. One is a standard highlighter for adding lightness to darker areas such as under the eyes and a shimmer that gives a glow and shine to other areas. They both provide very light coverage but it can be built up somewhat. If you have good skin then this would be sufficient to brighten but if you need more coverage then this would need to be used on top of a standard foundation.I got into make-up when it was fashionable to have a completely matte finish so it feels a little strange to deliberately add shine! Added in the right areas it can give really nice definition.A little thin for my preferences but it's a nice addition to my make-up collection.

Really like this product. It comes in an attractive compact which feels solid and needs definite action to open so no danger of it opening in bag. There is 2 colours each filling half of the compact. One is light and is suitable really on any part of the face. The second I thought was darker until I applied and found it gave a lovely sparkly look to the face. I loved it on the top of my cheeks. I found best to apply with a sponge but i did use a brush for overall blending. It lasted all day. I think if I was wearing it at night I would build it up more but it was perfect for daytime. No irritation or redness to report and it was removed easily with micellar water.

I'm generally a fan of Max Factor make-up; it doesn't irritate my skin, which is easily sensitised, and it tends to last a decent amount of time. This little compact is no exception.The compact contains two creamy highlighters/ concealers which can be applied with a small sponge and blend very easily with my natural colouring giving me a nice healthy glow. It's been great on skin with very little colour from the sun, but I'll use the darker shade when I've got a bit of colour. I've also use some on my eyelids to act as a natural looking shadow.As it seems pretty versatile, I think it's well worth the money.

I have pale skin, often use the ivory shades in foundation, and the Light shade of this highlighter is perfect for my skin tone.One side contains a sort of 'concealer' that you put under eyes, sides of nose etc. The other side gives a great subtle shimmer which I really like applying on my cheek bones. It's a creamy consistency and easy to apply with just fingers! It's quite subtle which is great for me as I don't wear huge amounts of make up and I use these highlighter on more special occasions, evenings out etc.Current price is such a bargain too, especially for a such a decent brand!

This is a useful compact that is very well suited to my skin tone. I trialled 01 - Light and it is perfect for me - see the pic for my lovely pale arm LOL - will give you an idea of skin tone. The corrector side of it really evens out my skin tone well (especially blue undertones and red thread veins) providing a nice matt base - the highlighter side is subtle and can be built up if you like a more obvious look. For me, subtle is great and i like the gold shade on my skin. Loses a star for me because I find the compact fiddly to open. Otherwise all good.

This is a nice compact and great for today's makeup fashion of giving highlights and glows! One side (the peachy shade) is used under the eyes, on nose, forehead and chin to highlight and smooth imperfections and the other side (right) is the bronzer, with a warmer metallic glow. They are both nice and creamy to use and blend well. I am using the 10 Light and it is ideal for my fair skin. It makes the skin look contoured and healthy without any shine or oiliness. Not a bad price either and great for the summer days ahead when you need a bit of a glow.

This is a dual product in one container. The left is a creamy, light concealer for fixing imperfections such as under the eye area. The right is a subtle, shimmery, creamy highlighter. Unfortunately, no applicator at all comes with this product, so either use your own, or use your fingers. I found the product easy to blend when applied with my finger, but a brush could also be used - especially for the highlighter. The highlighter looked natural and lasted all day. More could be added to give a more dramatic evening look.

A creamy highlighter that goes on well, particularly with a sponge.The two shades allow you to create a nice, subtle look which just enhances your look rather than create a Casper the friendly ghost face.It goes on lightly which allow you to build the coverage to suit not only your mood but your situation- heavier for a night out, lighter for a glam day time look.It hasn’t irritated my sensitive eyes and comes off easily with a make up wipe when it is time to say goodbye to your make up for the day.

A super combination palette of concealer and highlighter. It suits my skin tone very well (Max Factor says it suits most light and fair skins).You do not need much to be effective.I use my fingers for the concealer, but then use either a brush or a sponge to apply the illuminator.It is light and creamy and lasts all day.It certainly does give a healthy glow and also the bonus of a boost to your morale.Really a good price because they way I use it it will last a long time.

This is a duo compact with a two tone highlighter and concealer cream. You can apply this using a make up sponge to give you a light and natural healthy glow. It is a light non greasy product, which leaves skin looking fresh, without drying it out. It is good value for money, with a little amount of product going a long way, so it should last you a while. It is ideal for lighter skin tones, when you want to add a light bronzed shimmer too.
