This unit does what it says. It is okay but not great. It is an adapter that plugs into the Nintendo Wii that lets you use an HDMI cord to connect your TV. It supports 720p at 60fps and 1080p at 60fps.1. The unit overheats when in 1080p mode. After a few minutes the video starts cutting out and inspection reveals the adapter is extremely hot. I had to drill vent holes into the unit to address this. 720p mode seems to be stable.2. The unit does not completely address analog video noise artifacting. While the picture is quite good, a close inspection shows the picture does have some visible noise.

This adaptor actually damaged the internal display adaptor within the console. Clearly, the electronics in this product are of such poor quality that they caused internal damage to the console!Even after reconnecting the original RCA cable, the problem persists. My console is ruined and the seller only offered a refund for the adaptor they sold me. Woohoo - got my money back, but left with a white Nintendo paper weight connected to my tv

Same problem as a lot of people. Video cutting in and out every couple minutes. Not usable. To bad because when it works it does the job.
