I bought these recently, it's the most that I have spent on hdmi cables. The ones I had before these were thatcable and the amazonbasics hdmi cable, before getting the amazonbasics one I never realised how bad the thatcable hdmi leads were on my system, even though they were cheaper the amazonbasics cable had better picture and sound.. But to be honest after buying the audioquest pearl hdmi I didn't notice that much difference in picture to the amazon cable, but the reason I would buy the audioquest pearls again is because on my blu ray player, amp and tv there is a huge difference in panning shots which are now as smooth as butter. Used to annoy me to no end.

I always believed all HDMI cables were the same. However I compared two I own and there were differences to both the sound, contrast and saturation so based on reviews thought I'd try this one as I needed a longer cable. Connected from Sky HD to Sony HD TV to my surprise this one is better than either of the others in detail, clear dynamic sound, motion and colour. Although not cheap I think it's value for money and will be buying another. I understand the argument that it's simply a data cable so cannot make an improvement but all I can say is in my system the difference is clear.

Great cable for the price. All aspects of the picture were improved including contrast, sharpness and particularly noticeable was the terrific but natural colours. I take the headphone output of the TV into a amplifier and speakers and the sound quality over a standard cable improved dramatically. Highly recommended for the price and the cheapest way to upgrade your picture and sound quality.ProsPicture and sound quality improved dramatically.Build quality is excellent and is built to last.Much thinner than cheap cables.ConsNone at the price

I've had 3 of these for over 4 years and bought them to replace the free cables supplied with av devices.I've just had Sky Q installed and the engineer insisted on using their cable. Set at 1080p the picture was OK but a little soft, so I switched back to my Pearl and the image is instantly sharper and cleaner. Whether or not everyone can see an improvement in picture is subjective but they are of much higher quality and don't degrade over time. Based on my experience they are certainly well worth the investment.

I'd love to give a back and forth test but it was bought as a gift. I have however seen it in operation between a high end Panasonic plasma and a top Sony Blu Ray player and the picture was stellar. How attributable this HDMI cable was to the whole experience unfortunately I can't tell but it certainly wasn't interfering any. Impressed enough to consider the Forest variety (shorter length preferable) for my system though.

Brought this HDMI because it was said to be the best by What Hifi, well it simply is the best. I paid £39 for my prvious one which I was told was good, paid £29 for the Pearl, the differance was chalk and cheese what a change in detail and sound, this really is that good. If your in the market for a new HDMI get this one, go on do it just do it.

For all those of you wondering if this makes a difference to your AV system I can categorically say that IT DOES!. My soundbar has sprung to life and the image quality is the best it can be. Vastly different to Inferior ones out there. Just buy it..or one at least as they are quite expensive.

Bought several of these over time and find them to be an excellent upgrade on standard HDMI leads.They look good. Work well. Are reasonably priced. Have a range to suit all pockets and sound/look great with a decent set-up.Highly recommended!

Amazing HDMI cable Colours and responce amazing well worth every penny buy a cheaper cable at your own expense. Buying cable upgrades is actually where you should start. I would recommend this cable as a must buy!!!!!

Kuro 60" plasma, Denon 4308, B&W CM series 5.1- never looked or sounded so good! Swapped all 5 cables in the end for the Sky HD, Apple TV and Xbox One. Don't let the low price put you off, seeing is believing

i have nothing to compare these with as it's the first time I have used HDMI cables (since the arrival of a new HD TV) but the pictures delivered are great and therefore I can't fault them.

excellent cable. a bit pricey tho. but in this case worth every penny. wish i could afford to replace all my cables for this top audioquest . will buy more when i can afford it.

I love these HDMI cables. I noticed an instant improvement in picture quality that was richer in colour and sound quality that was tighter. Great price, great product!

Pleased with the cable , great quality, Improved the picture quality over the standard HDMI cable supplied by Virgin with my new Tivo box.Well worth the money.
