The idea that all cats love fish is not one that I have observed to be true. Our last three cats have all been very lukewarm on fish flavours, and our latest cat, Ross, will not eat fish catfood at all. That's a problem as most multipack cat foods include fish flavours - you CAN sometimes buy multipacks with only meat flavours, but too often the supermarkets are sold out of them. How lovely then to have this pop up on Vine. A bunch of meat flavoured pouches in a handy multi-pack. But would it pass the exacting tastest test of Ross, our cat?Ross relies on his keeper monkeys to only bring him the best of everything and his, very expressive, tail flips towards them at the slightest hint that culinary corners are being cut or that any kind of fish is being slipped onto the menu. The packaging was undone, good sturdy box, but easy to open. First out was a "Game" pouch, well, okay. Ross appears and slowly and deliberately sits down to watch what the monkeys, are up to. Might be dinner time, but monkeys are pretty crazy and might be doing something not even related to Ross, so let's play it cool for now.The game flavour pouch is removed from the box and placed on the worktop. Aha, says Ross - yessss!! What's for dinner - let's go and help the process along. Off to get a clean cat bowl from the cupboard, almost tripped over Ross who is by now getting quite excited and criss crossing the walkway. A cat fork from the draw. A "for gods sake hurry, I'm wasting away down here" paw appears over the edge of the worktop. The tear-off segment of the pouch is easily removed and the pouch upended over the bowl - don't need the fork, unlike other pouches the contents slide out on their own with no need to go in after them. As usual (as cats seldom deign to drink water) put a few drops of cold tap water into the empty pouch and use it to rinse out any remaining gravy and add a small mount of water to the meal.No doubt driven by the scent arising from the meal preparation, the noise from the floor has moved from pitiful to hyper-excitment and its hard for the keeper monkey to reach the cat feeding station without tripping over the cat blur, but somehow this is managed. As the bowl hits the ground, a mixture of sounds indicate that this IS the stuff to give cats - no tail flipping today - just the sound of ravenous eating and purring loud enough to shatter windows. The story has been repeated for all the other flavours in this pack - none have failed the Ross test. Of course, one can never be sure, but it looks like in Ross's opinion the monkeys did good and this cat chow will suffice.

We call our cat the fluffy tyrant sometimes as he is a very important cat and he very much knows it.He prefers the ALDI own brand cat food with gravy which we call his gravy gak, it is inexpensive but it is what he likes. Sometimes ALDI do not have the gravy variety and when this happens my partner and I co-ordinate by text message so between us we can go to every branch of ALDI in the area every day in a panic as the supply we have at home goes down.Recently I ordered this Amazon brand, it is in gravy and is inexpensive. The fluffy tyrant will eat it, he leaves some so obviously I have to discard that so I can clean his bowl and give him his next meal in a clean bowl.So he still has a preference for the ALDI one but he will eat this one. If you too have a fluffy tyrant then it is worth trying this brand, it is very inexpensive and may get you out of trouble!ALDI restocked the gravy gak and we have about 30 boxes in our garage, but if and when we run out again we know that we can always order this and have it at our door in less then 2 days, knowing this really helps with our anxiety!!!!!

To me, as a human, this seems just as good quality as any similar cat food pouches. It makes all the usual nutritional claims and the texture is pretty good. It seems good enough value and comes in a handy 'dispenser' box for your cupboard. The pouches are 100g each, not those tricky 85g ones. The unknown quantity when you buy cat food is your cat, of course. If your cat is the 'eat anything' type, I'm sure you'll be fine. But if your cat's like mine, perhaps not. The problem I think is with the aroma. My cat quite liked the turkey flavour in this pack at first, but won't even taste the others despite much encouragement. She normally eats Petit Gourmet or Sheba.I have to say that the chicken variety in particular smells pretty bad, even for cat food. It smells a bit like, dare I say it, urine... so I don't entirely blame my discerning moggy for turning her nose up at it.What can I say? It's a decent product on the whole from what I can see, so it's probably worth a try if you have a cat that will usually eat pretty much anything.

Quite difficult to review this one to be honest. I have two cats: one that will eat practically anything (including popadoms, crisps and goldfish) and one that is incredibly fussy. The good news is my unfussy cat loves this food, eats her own and then half of 'fussy' cat's food as well. However, fussy cat will only eat half a portion of food at a time and there is never any food left so I can only assume that fussy cat eats the 'left' half. Otherwise unfussy cat is also a very greedy cat.Small gripe, whilst the food packet is easy to open, the nature of the wet food means you nearly always end up with a bit of cat food on your hands when putting it into the bowl. This is something I haven't experienced with other cat food.In conclusion - if you have a cat that will eat anything then this is a good low cost cat food. However, as with all cat foods it is worth trying it to see.

Puss is a very fussy eater, who usually dines on the more expensive small pouches of Mon Petit or Sheba. Our first attempt to feed her with one of these Lifelong selections was somewhat disappointing, as she sniffed it and looked up as if to say "you expect me to eat this?".By the morning though, I noticed that every scrap had been consumed. For her breakfast, I gave her another pouch of the cod in gravy and she seemed to tuck in with obvious relish. So, after initial concerns that our fastidious feline would refuse this food, it appears to be going down very well. The sachets are easy to tear open and the chunks of meat in a rich gravy appear to be of decent quality and consistency. It's also significantly cheaper than our usual brand,so both Puss and her servants are happy.

I have 3 very picky and temperamental cats, who are never happy with the same food. So I was a little sceptical when I received this Amazon Brand - Lifelong Complete pet food for adult cats. It contains 24 x 100g mixed selection pouches in gravy, - 6 chicken, 6 beef, 6 cod and 6 salmon - and contains added vitamin D3 for healthy bones and teeth, and vitamin E for a healthy immune system. It looks good in the bowl, consisting of small chunks, and no runniness, and there was no odour that I sometimes notice with other cat food. My cats approached cautiously, but soon tucked in happily, and I have had no problems getting them to eat it. There have been no upset tummies, and they really enjoy the food,so I am happy to recommend it.

My cats are strict Kit-e-Kat devotees, and on the rare occasion I try to treat them with something expensive, or even some real fish, they are completely uninterested. Kit-e-Kat or nothing for my cats, and they will cheerfully miaow for food with full bowls in front of them, unless it's Kit-e-Kat.So, I was pretty sure they wouldn't like this. They love it. They polished off a box that would normally last a week or so in two days, and then miaowed for more. If I walk anywhere near their bowls, they are THERE and asking for food. The really really like this. So, if you have Kit-e-Kat cats of unsophisticated taste, I'm pretty sure you can do well with this.

I often have to look for new lines of food for my faddy cats, so I thought I'd give this a try. I was a bit wary, bit no need to be as the moggies love it. Sachet open, in bowl and devoured in no time at all. So I reckon that if my expert review panel are so ken it deserves 5 stars! On the more mundane but important side of things - a stout box for shipping and storage at home, a good variety of menus to keep their interest going and the sachets are easy to tear, unlike some I've tried in the past. A little thing I know, but when one of your primary cat cares is an aged infirm grandmother it is important for her to be able to tear the sachets open easily.

Recently we have had to watch our spending a bit more and had to try and save a bit of money where we could. I tried these as you can get 24 for 5.99 (even less if you subscribe and save) usually when we buy cheaper like whiskers both cats just lick of the moist part and leave the chunks but they clear their bowls with these! Very happy! Also tried amazons dry food which the cats also love. It’s helped financially without our cats suffering quality ? Photo shows how juicy it is and shows just over half a sachet in a bowl (as mine share a sachet for each meal)

Our cat isn't the keenest, when it comes to eating from pouches, but she will eat these if she is hungry enough. Our uninvited neighbour's cat also liked it. The food quality seems to be O.K. for the price. The pouches are tightly packet, making storage easier. The jellies are all poultry varieties, so not much variation.Tilly likes the beef and chicken varieties in gravy. She will nibble at the cod and will not touch the salmon. It is a matter of personal taste I think, rather than a comment on the quality.

These 100g pouches are filled with plenty of meaty chunks but there isn’t much gravy. I’m assuming what little there is, is quite tasty as my cats tend to slurp this up first before eating the chunks. All 4 flavours have been met with plenty of enthusiasm from my cats and they appear to like this gravy selection as much as this brands jelly version. A very competitively priced cat food that does get eaten by my cats.Box contains 24 100g pouches in total:6 x poultry6 x beef6 x chicken6 x game

I have been buying branded cat food in massive multipacks for 14 years for my two cats, and generally they have been very happy on that, but my wallet has suffered a bit.I'm really pleased that Amazon have branched out into selling their own pet food, following on from the Amazon Basics household range of products. My cats have been perfectly happy to switch straight over to this brand and, Inca, in particular, almost inhaled his sachet last evening, so its definitely a hit with him.4 stars

2.11.2018

Our three cats are notoriously fussy eaters when it comes to wet food, but they really like this Amazon Brand Complete food. It seems to contain quite a lot of solid substance -- the ratio of solids/jelly seems better than it does in many other cat foods we've tried -- and, unlike some other cat foods, it actually smells quite nice to human noses! It's certainly being wolfed down, and there have been no upset cat stomachs as we sometimes get when we change food. Pleased with this. Four stars.

I received a free sample of this and on the strength of my cats' reactions, I'm going to order it regularly. The mixed selection provides a good variety of flavours and although the food has quite a strong smell, it doesn't seem to have affected the litter tray, thankfully. The only disadvantage of this product is that one of my cats went a bit crazy and kept asking for more, like a crazed drug addict, but he seems to have settled down now.

Nice easy to use and dispose of packaging for the outer packet, the foil wrappings for the food pouch opens easily with a notch tear - and the pouch tips out cleanly and easily into the cat bowlThe cat, clever as anything, licks all the gravy off, then returns later and eats the meat - contrary maryMust be tasty as she clears the bowl on the second eating session.Nice chunks of bite sized meat, the gravy smells good, tempting.
