Very good value price for such a high quality feed. I have 3 rescue kittens (ages 18, 17 and 8 weeks old) who have been eating these kibbles along with Felix Kitten As Good As It Gets wet food and Whiskas Cat Milk (once weened from specialist milk provided by my vet) since they came into my care. Within a week of eating these I noticed a shine to their coats, their health improve, good weight gain and fantastic growth, especially considering how young these little ones were when they came to me as they should not have been away from their mothers at such young ages. Veterinary checks have also shown they have been putting weight on correctly and at good speed on this diet with their teeth being very clean.A little personal, but I have also noticed a greater consistency and less smell in their poop since they have began this kibble in comparison to the very cheap biscuits they were fed beforehand at a rescue centre.A 2kg would last roughly 3 weeks at present with my 3 kittens which includes mixing this into their wet food and keeping 2 bowls out throughout the day for them to nibble on. Wouldn't dream of moving my kittens over to any other brand of dry food and they will be moved to the Royal Canin sterilized kitten kibble once they are spayed to ensure their weight remains consistent, especially so as they are all indoor cats.It may seem more expensive than supermarket available dry food brands but it is definitely worth every penny for your cats physical health and growth when the ingredients for this are compared to other brands (high real meat/protein content, little "filler" carbohydrate ingredients).

My baby girl was the runt of the litter & had to watch all her siblings leave home... it was nearly 2 weeks of just her & Mum before she was ready to come & live with me. She was so, so small so I fed her on the Royal Canin Baby Cat. She loved it & grew. I then put her on the Kitten variety & she loves this even more!! I just love to watch her little head as she crunches away. It almost looks like she's eating chocolate she enjoys it so much. What's more important to me is that she looks like she's almost normal size now. She'll never be massive - in fact she's still petite but she's bright & alert & so full of energy!!Yes, I'd definitely recommend this food to everyone who wants the best for their kitten.I did a lot of research before I settled on this food & I'm convinced it's the right decision.I've tried but I can't think of any thing bad to say about this food. I guess the price is steep - but I bought a 10kg sack on offer so I can't even complain about that right now.Try it. You won't be sorry! Nor will your kitty!!!

Our kittens love this and prefer it to any other food we tried them on.The kittens were small for their age at just under 6 months when we got them due to being fed the wrong food and the vet recommended this food. Needless to say both cats are fairly normal in size and couldn't be called tiny any longer at just over a year. We've perhaps one lot of hair coughed up in all the time we've had them and they've never been sick on this. Plus the cat litter tray smell also decreased once we got them on this. Their coats are smooth and glossy and both cats have tons of energy for mischief so it's obviously suiting them.Although it is an expensive brand buying in this size brings the cost almost in line with other cat foods you can buy at the supermarket. We've recently moved them onto an adult brand of this and they love that too.The other bonus with this being dried food on the odd weekend we've been away overnight there's no problem leaving it in their automatic feeder for them as long as they have plenty of water.

I will shortly be buying another pedigree kitten, and when it came to purchasing food for her, I knew that there surely was only one choice - Royal Canin Kitten! After previously using this food before, I certainly can attest to both the quality and superior all round excellence of the Royal Canin brand as a whole. This food contains all of the nutrients that your kitten will need to gradually grow into a healthy young cat, and also helps to keep them, strong, healthy and fed - I also highly recommend following on with breed related Royal Canin food later on too!If you're considering purchasing this for your kitten, I shouldn't think the results will disappoint you - while Royal Canin food might be expensive,it really is a case of getting what you pay for with this product. A healthy, nutritional diet is a must for any pet, and I cannot recommend this food enough - I really do recommend that you try it!

I started to feed this to my British Shorthair kitten from collection due to him already eating this. I have read and must agree with other reviewers and say that I also went for the smaller 2KG bag due to the fact my little kitty could never manage the larger ones before it staled and went bad.My kitten thrived on this food and as per vet recommendations for my breed he was fed on it until just before his 1st birthday. Some people have complained about the price to me in the past of premium pet foods and I always say if you divide the cost by 30/60/90 days however long a bag lasts, it is only a small price per day on food and definitely worth the results in my pets. The food in my opinion has helped to turn my little kitty into a handsome, strong and healthy energetic Cat and I would heartily recommend it to any Cat owner. 5 Stars......

Bought a bag of cat food for my cat before this one, she did not eat it, she probably ate the last one because she had to. Since she's a kitten I've been trying to find something she'd like. Tried Purina One Chicken and whole Grains as her first food which she liked, then switched to Applaws Chicken and Salmon, which smelled horrid but she ate it and then it was Arden Grange Chicken and potato, safe to say she didn't eat that, ended up in the bin with more than half left. Then it was the royal canin, I bought a 2kg bag first and she absolutely LOVED it! After she finished with that I bought the 4KG bag and she's nibbling away at that one aswell.I would recommend trying this one first before any of the other Cat/Kitten foods as my Kitten really enjoys it and you most.Likely can't go wrong with this.

I adopted a little kitten that had cat flu, he was very ill and he mildly passed it on to my other kitten who was a who is a little older. That was when I decided to put them on some food that contains antioxidants, and extra vitamins and minerals to help boost their immune system. Although the youngest kitten did have to see a vet and go on antibiotics, he has, as they both have recovered fully and they both had beautiful shiny coats. They are both lively with bright eyes and despite the weather still being cold and rainy they are both showing no signs of being ill. For the reasons above I will keep buying this food, it is good value for money and although it doesn't smell richly of chicken or any other flavour I recognise, both cats are content to eat it each time its offered.

This may look expensive to buy but actually it's very economical as the cats don't need as much of it as ordinary biscuits and food. In fact my cats have all stopped eating any type of meat since starting on these biscuits. I have a teeth challenged long haired cat that copes with these small biscuits amazingly ! My chinchilla persian loves them and so do my two short haired boys. It does improve their coat appearance ( NO it will not stop moulting....wish something would lol) and it does make for smaller deposits in the dirt trays that definately have less odour. I wouldn't use anything other that Royal Canin for my cats now. They do all different types to suit your cat so give it a try,you don't have to buy a huge bag to start off. You never know, your cats may love it too.

Premium cat foods like this might seem expensive, but in my view they are worth the money. I switched my kittens to this from a well-known brand of wet food, and have never looked back. (Now they're all grown up, I've switched them to an adult variety of Royal Canin dry food). After they'd been eating this kitten food for a while, there was a noticeable improvement in the condition of their coats (the word 'magnificent' was used to describe one of them - by my husband, but still...) and it also had a noticeable effect on their, er, digestive health. On the old well-known brand food, when they used the litter tray it would sometimes smell like the portaloos at a kitten rock festival. But the RC kitten food sorted that right out. Plus they loved it. Recommended.

Great price on Amazon - much cheaper than the vet. This is the only kitten food I have found so far that has settled the tummy of my gastrically challenged boy. It is so easy on the tummy and smells great to boot. I had previously tried all of the off-the-shelf kitten foods - both wet and dry, and then moved onto grain free foods. Nothing worked apart from cooking whole chicken breasts, and who can afford to feed those forever (with 2 cats especially). I was sceptical about these 'high end' foods, after watching a TV documentary which claimed that all pet foods are basically the same. Not in this case. On the first day, his poo became formed and the smell reduced drastically. He also stopped passing foul wind constantly. Job done!

This kitten food is loved by our kittens and older cat and is very gentle on the stomach too. When we first got our kittens they couldn't stomach anything soft or too rich but this was perfect for them and they are still eating it now, our older cat much prefers it to his own science plan food so hoping that Royal Canin do an adult version of this duck kitten food! This is by far the most cost effective way to buy this food as it works out a lot cheaper than buying smaller packs more often. I'd recommend you buy the "Van Ness Pet Food Storage Container 25lb 11.4Kg" (and "Van Ness Pet Food Scoop - Regular") to keep the food fresh as the packet unfortunately doesn't have a re-seal option

I have been purchasing this fine brand of kitten food since I first had my pedigree kitten - it has never let me down and really is superior quality food. My cat really seems to enjoy this food, and I have watched him grown from being a minuscule little kitten, into a truly fine animal of eight months old. I am in no doubt as to the nutritional value of this food.It keeps the cat well fed, healthy, and certainly reduces faecal odour drastically. Some may feel this cat food is fairly expensive, but it is certainly worth the price - I can state with some confidence that if you try this food for your kitten, you won't be disappointed.Excellent service, and fast delivery too.

I have always fed my cats on royal canin from an early age due to them been starved when I rescued them at 7 weeks. It is, I consider to be the best for a quality, coat condition, and a all round balanced meal . I have a persian who only eats royal canin and loves the kitten 36 , even though he is 6 years old now. He seems to like the size of the biscuits as they not too small and not too big for him to chew. They have very shiny coats, bright eyes and generally healthy (oh and very little smelly poo's! ) I have tried other alternative quality biscuits but alway end up back to the royal canin . Highly recommended for the quality and goodness for any animal ..

As far as dry cat food goes, this has to be one of the best for price and quality.Even though my two cats are 4 years and 1 year old, they still love this Royal Canin. I purchase this massive 4 Kg bag as part of my subscribe and save order. With two cats eating this every day, this size bag lasts me on average 2 to 2 1/2 months. It smells just like any other dry cat food, the pieces are relatively small about the size of a garden pea. They sound really crunchy when my cats tuck into them.Even though this is a huge bag, I don't have any problems with the contents going stale by the time I get to the bottom as the Re-Seal feature works very well.
