I don't know where Amazon get their weights from, but as another reviewer has commented, these white fish treats come in 15 gramme & 110 gramme weights. Full information can be found on the Thrive website. There are other dried meat treats in the range which are supplied in the same size tubes but varying weights. Presumably the weight of the dried meat is simply affected by the density of the fresh meat regardless of its volume. Also, the 15 gramme tubes do have a very ill fitting plastic cap, so I too had a delivery where one of the tubes had spilled out into the box but a complaint to Amazon customer services dealt with that. This is something I think the manufacturers need to address. The 110 gramme carton is very secure. That aside, it has to be said that these white fish cat treats are, to say the least very very smelly, but one whiff of them and presto - my 4 cats appear as if they've never been fed for weeks! They just love them - can't get enough. So much so that when I left the new 110 gramme pack in the Amazon box in an under stair cupboard - latched but not locked - I came down the next morning to find that the cupboard had been somehow raided, the container several feet away and the lid further away still. The thick foil seal on the top of the container half eaten and torn away. I think that they had only managed to eat half the contents but this was proof enough, they see these Thrive White Fish Treats as a treat indeed! But at the price, not too many at once - and keep them somewhere secure!

Thrive is a cat treat which comes in a number of different types - white fish, tuna, shrimp, beef, liver & chicken. It is made from freeze dried ingredients without additives e.g. the white fish version is composed of 100% freeze dried white fish. One thing to be aware of is that although the packs of different flavours look the same size, the weight of product varies considerably. For example, this maxi tube of white fish contains 120g whilst the chicken version contains 200g, although, both maxi tubes are the same size and full. The maxi tubes are a recent innovation, and, are good value, given that a 15g tube of the white fish version is around £3 in Waitrose etc.Our cat, Pepper, goes crazy for the white fish version of Thrive - he is almost as frenetic about it as catnip. We feed him 6-8 pieces as a treat now and then. The moment he hears the tube rattle he comes running. He is a bit cooler, but still enthusiastic, about the chicken version, and, less predictable around the other flavours - they are mood dependent. A tip is that as you work your way through a tub, inevitably, some of the content will collect as a sort of "dust" at the bottom of the tube - this makes a great garnish on your cat's food and increases its appeal considerably.Clearly, this is a low fat product and one that leaves no mess because it is enthusiastically consumed down to the last crumb. Both Pepper and I recommend Thrive White Fish Treats as a snack or reward.

Our 17yo Himalayan was diagnosed with (of all things...) a grain allergy shortly after we adopted her. After extensive trial & error, we now keep her on a raw food diet, and we've been trying a bunch of different treats to find ones she will a) eat and that b) won't trigger her symptoms (think explosions out both ends--really not okay). Madam will sometimes deign to have a bit of raw chicken liver, some butter, or the tiniest bit of raw cream, but otherwise disdains 'natural' (read: cat-appropriate) treats such as raw shellfish/seafood or raw meat tidbits. These Thrive treats are her firm favourites (she also likes the tuna, but as they're somewhat larger & drier pieces,we need to break them up for her a little as otherwise she'll try to swallow them down and we worry she may choke) and while they don't elicit the same 'ravenous crocodile' response as her illicit favourites (roast chicken Greenies which my mother sometimes sends her from the US, which do contain grains but which she handles just fine in very small amounts), she nonetheless has taken to these moreso than any other grain-free brand. We tried all the flavours, but she will only eat the chicken and the tuna; cats, ey?The big tub means we can sprinkle a little on top of her food now and then to change things up for her. A bit pricey, but worth it if your kitty has dietary requirements.

Our cats love these. The pieces are quite large so we tend to break them into smaller pieces as the kitties seem to get more enjoyment from eating them this way and the tub also lasts longer. (They also like the powder that accumulates at the bottom of the tub so you can sprinkle this on their dry food when all the pieces are gone. We have also tried them on the beef, liver, white fish and tuna treats but this is there absolute favourite - and one cat will turn up her nose at any treat that isn't the chicken or liver. As they're expensive we tried to freeze dry cooked chicken at home to reduce costs but unfortunately this did not work very well and the kitties were most unimpressed...Generally we've found the Amazon price is generally the cheapest around for the chicken treats (around £16) and have just started using the Amazon subscribe and save option making it extremely good value with the 15% off you get if you have 5 items or more. We also subscribed to the Aplaws dried food and Felix "as good as it gets" wet food and the cats are very happy, although they would probably just eat the Thrive chicken treats if they could!

Our cats were rescue kittens and despite lots and lots of TLC have remained very, very shy of strangers coming to the house. However we are now - four years on, I may add - making real progress with this, and it is largely thanks to these wee beauties. They go nuts for these! I explain to visitors the scenario and get them to give the cats a treat. Or two, or three.... Much purring and leg snaking ensues. Then the cats copy them! No seriously, the cats now associate potentially scary people with something yummy happening. They are so much more relaxed when people come round, and will take the treats off their fingers. Layla used to sit at the top of the stairs growling, now she only does that at the postman.Honestly. Big improvement! We currently don't give the treats at other times as we are trying to use them for this specific goal, but I hope to do so in the near future and would be confident about doing so as you can see that they are simply dods of fish, no other rubbish like other treats. But they do make your fingers stink, which is why no- one ever comes back to our house!

Our 2 cats love these - to the point we have to put them inside a non easily reachable cupboard, if we leave them out they have learned to knock them off the countertop and feast on the floor..However, we recently needed to give one of our cats a course of tablets and much drama followed as usual until I tried this:I used a small drill bit (cleaned in the dishwasher) and hand drilled a small hole into a "larger" lump of thrive. popped the pill inside and sealed with small bits of thrive dust from the bottom of the tin, the cat scoffed it! and again the next day, and again the next day, its not 100% and occasionally we have to try again, but never have I found anything that could get a pill into my cat without the use of welding gloves,a towel, butter and several plasters afterwards..so its not enough they like the treats, I like them for the added ease that they have brought into my life...

My cat loves these treats and I have been ordering them for convenience via Amazon. They are definitely 5 stars as my cat will do anything for a Thrive Chicken treats - he hates the fish ones however. But I am going to stop buying them via Amazon now as in addition to the £11/11 per package of 4 boxes - I have often bought 2 boxes at a time - VAT is added (only at the end of the process and not at the initial total) and I can buy them in Sainsbury's for £3 each. Thus it is quite a lot more expensive via Amazon rather than my local Sainsbury's - which may include VAT as well but the total cost is £3. These treats have become a necessity in my house - although my cat is lovely, occasionally he seriously needs distracting and Thrive chicken treats work 100%. I highly recommend them but am personally going to buy in future where they are considerably cheaper in my local Supermarket.

I originally saw these at my vet's office, he made my little bugger quite obedient with these. The little bastard goes mental for the tuna treats. Seriously. If I didn't know what was in it I would assume it was laced with some super catnip. I have a treat jar that I fill up with these treats. I just open the jar or slightly shake it and he comes running, looking like he's flying up the stairs. It seems quite expensive, but is well worth the price. I usually break up the really big pieces (he gets quite a few treats a day). I also sprinkle the dust from the bottom on his wet food, so there's no waste.(I tried the chicken liver one before, he seemed to like the smell but not the consistency I guess as he would always spit it out. However the tuna is a clear win. Also, as I know that feeding too much fish is not good for them, he mainly gets his fish fix with these treats.)

My cat loves these. His favourite variety is White Fish, followed by Chicken.I like them too, because they're real food, not chemical gunk. And they're practical to feed. I've trained my cat as a book promotion photo model (he enjoys posing for photos), and use cat treats as rewards. Sulu licks his chops to let me know when another payment is due. :-) These treats are super practical, because they're and don't crumble much, so they don't leave stains on the book pages. They're also so light in colour (except the chicken liver) that they don't show in the photos if they place the on the page.Since these are expensive, and my cat earns a lot of treats every day, I break the big ones into several small pieces. This works well.My cat enquires if someone would like to sponsor him? If you send him a pack of Thrive treats he'll pose for photos with your product. ;-)

My two cats Poppy and Tiddler love these treats and I used to buy them directly from Thrive in their large tubs. They cost me nearly £19 a tub and would last about three weeks, which is not very cost effective. Now I buy the smaller tubes (in packs of four) that Amazon are now supplying in their 'Grocery Supplies' section and have saved a few quid as their Subscription system gives extra discount too.Whatever meat used is freeze dried then packaged, so your cats are getting the wholesome, natural product, just dry. No additives at all. These are just treats, so other food must be provided, obviously.Every morning, my two come to me for their Thrive treats and although I am obviously a cat lover,(not ashamed to admit it), I bet yours would too if you fed them these occasionally.I think they sell these in a four pack 'tester', so why not try them?

These are crazy expensive, but still cheaper than buying the smaller tubes. We use these when feeding our cat pills - she loves them so much she munches the whole lot down! We've tried these treats on several cats and without exception they miaow in ecstasy when they try them the first time. We reckon that's a miaow that they have wasted their whole life up until that point NOT eating these freeze-dried chicken treats. Seriously, we've never seen a car who didn't go crazy for these. So if money is no object when it comes to treating your feline master, or you want to get them to take their medication without losing all the skin on your hands, then these treats are a must-buy.Warning: hide the big tub and decant portions to a smaller tub.If they get wind of the fact you have a big tub they may gang up to mug you in the night.

Our cats go mad for this stuff! And why wouldn't they? It's easy to see it really is just dried fish. We've tried them on the Tuna version (which they also like) and the Chicken (which they like less) but this is their favourite. Clearly all cats do like different things, and these large tins are expensive if they don't like it, so I'd suggest seeing what flavour they like first with he small tubes before jumping in with one of these large tins. A variety tube pack if definitely a good first option. If they do enjoy it though, these large tins are great value compared to the small tubes. Weight for weight you save a mint! In addition to the size of tin and better value,I also find these large tins seem to have better quality pieces. Our cats are both Maine Coons and typically enjoy fish based food.

My cats just loves this treat!!! He particularly likes the fish ones, but eats very eagerly the chicken too!I treat my cats like they are my own human babies therefore their nutrition is paramount concern to me.For a while I researched on treats I could give them and bought many of the whiskas brand and dreams. my Vet told me that they are just like taking your child to Mcdonalds on a daily basis! they taste good but are very unhealthy. She introduced me to thrive which is 100% meat and I bought one tube to start with. My cats loved it and everytime they see me picking it up, they go nuts and start jumping on me!!!I have to keep reminding them they are not dogs!Im very pleased with this product and guilt free now that i know i can treat them without putting junk inside them!

@miss_princess_lola loves this product. It is the only treats that we give to our cat and she goes nuts for it. As soon as we have the box she comes running. We have tried all the different flavours of this brand and bought the little packets to see which Lola preferred. While she appeared to enjoy all of them her favourite seems to be the chicken, hence why we bought this larger packet this time round. The packet lasts a long time, but I guess that depends on how often and how many chicken bits you feed your cat. We only give Lola a couple chicken bits at a time in a puzzle game, as it is only supposed to be a treat. The product also does not smell like other cat products that you can buy on the market. We really love this product and more importantly our furry friend loves it too!

I am not sure what these other reviews are going on about. A tube that holds 27gms of something, holds 27gms, you have to be an idiot not to realise that. These treats are totally irresistible my cat only has to see the tube, or even hear the noise when I shake it, to come running. He sits and cries for them and he is really not the crying type. These are freeze dried treats, I did chemistry at school so I know that means, take a lot of fish and remove the moisture (that is why it is so light).Note to other reviewers (it's actually is the same as 6 tins of tune from Lidl, only better quality fish).I think the real point I'm trying to make is everything from Thrive is about giving you pet thebest quality available and not about shopping in Lidl
