Very good value price for such a high quality feed. I have 3 rescue kittens (ages 18, 17 and 8 weeks old) who have been eating these kibbles along with Felix Kitten As Good As It Gets wet food and Whiskas Cat Milk (once weened from specialist milk provided by my vet) since they came into my care. Within a week of eating these I noticed a shine to their coats, their health improve, good weight gain and fantastic growth, especially considering how young these little ones were when they came to me as they should not have been away from their mothers at such young ages. Veterinary checks have also shown they have been putting weight on correctly and at good speed on this diet with their teeth being very clean.A little personal, but I have also noticed a greater consistency and less smell in their poop since they have began this kibble in comparison to the very cheap biscuits they were fed beforehand at a rescue centre.A 2kg would last roughly 3 weeks at present with my 3 kittens which includes mixing this into their wet food and keeping 2 bowls out throughout the day for them to nibble on. Wouldn't dream of moving my kittens over to any other brand of dry food and they will be moved to the Royal Canin sterilized kitten kibble once they are spayed to ensure their weight remains consistent, especially so as they are all indoor cats.It may seem more expensive than supermarket available dry food brands but it is definitely worth every penny for your cats physical health and growth when the ingredients for this are compared to other brands (high real meat/protein content, little "filler" carbohydrate ingredients).

My 10 week old kitten Dora has been eating this dry food since she came to live with us at 8 weeks old. The person who we got her from had been feeding her adult cat food (wet) mashed up smaller and she was a quite small and skinny.I bought this food for her having done some research into the best food to give a kitten and this food is apparently one of the best available at this stage, with just the right amount of nutrients for a growing kitten. She loved this dry food straight away, and the pieces are nice and small, just right for little teeth. It's a complete food so no need to provide any other food, but we have also been giving Dora half a tray of the Royal Canin Babycat 34 mousse every evening which she also wolfs down!In just the 2 weeks since she came to live with us she has grown a lot, and is a nice healthy looking size now. Her coat is glossy and her eyes are bright, and the vet has said she seems very healthy. Possibly a bit too much info, but I have noticed that her number two's hardly smell at all with this food, but they were not nice at all the first day after arriving so am assuming this is due to this food. The cost is a little bit higher than Whiska's or other well known brands, but is much higher quality and you use a bit less as it provides all the nutrients they need. One 400g bag has lasted me just over a week and a half. I would estimate it would probably last just over a week without supplementing her diet with wet food.

I purchased these when my cat's kittens were about 4 weeks old as it's supposably the best food for weening, I was a bit sceptical at first but it turns out it was right! When I was first giving this to them I was first soaking it in kitten formula as they were not used to solid food and after putting it out every now and then the oldest kitten decided to try it! Within about another week and a half all four kittens were eating it! Strangely though, 2 of the kittens only liked it when it was dry so if you soak it and some of your kittens don't like it try giving them it dry. Also the food did not have a strong smell like some cat food which was good but the kittens seemed to love the flavour. When they were about 5 weeks I purchased some of the Royal Canin Kitten stage 2 dry food as those are bigger and more like the kind that your kittens will probably be given in their new home so I would recommend you do this. I also purchased some Royal Canin Kitten wet food to mix with the stage 2 dry food as one of the kittens was picky about wet food and preferred wet food and the all loved that so I would recommend that too. Overall great product, and I would recommend to anyone who is weaning kittens.

I've been buying Royal Canin Baby Cat 34 dry mix for 2 years now because of the small kibble and high protein content - ideal nourishment for wild hedgehogs, especially autumn juveniles who need to put on rapid weight in time for the winter hibernation. I regularly put a bowl of this (mixed with dry mealworms) just outside my front door near a bowl of water. The mealworms stop cats eating it and the bowl is always empty the next morning. Mother hogs teach their offspring where this tasty meal is so that when they become independent from their mothers, they carry on with nightly visits. It is a delight to see them thriving and hear their eager scrunching as they devour the kibble/mealwormmix.

My vet told me to try this for our 2 baby kittens whom are small for their age and suffering from upset tummies. We have tried different kitten foods including Hills but nothing seem to settle them......but we have tried this one now and wow!!! they are totally different, tummies are much more settled and they are full of life and running around like the clappers...(which they should be at 8 weeks!). Its a lot more expensive than some kitten foods but its totally worth it for us to have healthy babies. Quite difficult to find in a lot of high street suppliers but so easily available on Amazon and very competitively priced. Would recommend this to anyone with little fluffy bundles of joy!

This food is ideal for my foster kittens who are often quite young starting solids. The kibble is tiny so easy to manage. They digest it easily and the litter tray doesn't stink afterwards unlike when I give them cheaper food.It dissolves easily in water if your kitten is not ready for the crunchy pieces.I also found my 17 year old cat with thyroid problems does well on this food. Was easy on her tummy (some foods make her sick) and helped restore her weight. A lot of the "older cat" foods are about avoiding weight gain, but our situation was the opposite as she was losing too much.More expensive than other brands but very much worth it.

I bought this in desperation as my 6 yr old cat would eat no other dried food. And i have to say that I'm sure glad I did. I have been feeding her this for 4 yrs now and I would never buy anything else! A bag lasts a long time, so is very economical, The veterinary clinic in my village sells nothing else but Royal Canin, But I buy it off Amozon as it is much cheaper. Her coat is in amazing condition and she has never been to the vet while on this food, I give her one shatchet of wet food in the evening's and the rest of the time she eats Royal Canin dried. The food is second to none for one very happy cat.

Royal Canin is the most expensive but also the best dry pet food on the market. I have 5 cats and have tried them on all sorts of dry food. Cheaper brands contains too much cereal and filler which makes them sick- usually over my best rug! Royal Canin has the highest meat/ protein content in dry food I’ve come across. Coat condition is superb. No digestive issues and no loss of condition. Baby and mother cat is perfect for queens and kittens as well as convalescent cats.

The Mother cat and her kittens seems to enjoy this dry food. My old cat also enjoys them more than his usual biscuits. They are small and easy for kittens to eat, and I find this is one of the first foods I use in the weaning process. I also feed my cats fresh rabbit and chicken, and I believe that the biscuits as part of their diet gives them extra vitamins and minerals and helps to balance their diet. I only use them during my queen's pregnancy and kittening.

Had never used Royal Canin product before this, but the breeder recommended this and so we tried it. Great product, as the Aby kittens tucked right in and we could barely keep it in their bowls. Be sure to fee up to no more than 9-11 months, before moving to an adult level product as it's a very rich product and can lead to the kittens getting overweight (for which we had to buy a Catit Food Maze to slow down their eating habits).

Bought this to gradually switch my 9 week old kittens over because they were having loose stools and smelly flatulence on their other food... and after 5 days of gradual introduction, they are better than ever! Now their digestive issues are solved - reduced wind and their stools are much better formed! And even their coats are shinier! Really happy with this food - totally worth every penny!

This is tiny pellets and a little goes a long way. My 8 weeks old kitten has been on it for 3 weeks nearly now and I still have over half a bag left as I mix with wet and a little really does go a long way with the babies. Probably be eating after the 12week mark but that's okay. Help baby grow.Down side is the older one wants it too oh and baby wants the big boys food! Cant win with cats.

I bought this as I handrear abandoned kittens and it’s perfect for making up kitten porridge when it’s time to wean them from just milk/formula. I liquidise the biscuits with some formula until it’s a consistency that the kittens can swallow and gradually make it thicker until they’re on solids completely and then they love to have the biscuits as they are in a bowl then.

I have 3 4 week old kittens who have just started weaning and seem to love it!Mum cat has a very sensitive stomach and I've tried a few other foods which haven't helped, it's taking her a bit to get used to this new food but her stomach is the most settled its ever been! Will definitely keep trying her with this food! It's worth paying the extra.

I bought this to wean 6 hand reared kittens onto and it's brilliant. It is tiny kibble and when soaked retains its shape but goes soft. The kittens started on this, alongside formula, at 4 weeks and were fully weaned at 7 weeks and they have gone from strength to strength. I would recommend this to anyone with tiny kittens
