Some reviewers of Dreamies have suggested that they contain a drug of some kind which causes cats to be addicted to eating them; even suggesting possible 'withdrawal symptoms'.Nonsense! And let me tell you why.I don't currently own a cat, but I am friends with quite a few cats who come to see me when their owners are out at work. With their owners' permission, I give them a treat or two. For quite a few of the cats, Dreamies are their No.1 favourite. But, as with all cats, they're fussy about what they like and don't like. Now let's consider: if the cats were craving Dreamies because they needed their "hit" of whatever secret addictive "drug" the manufacturer had put in them, then they wouldn't have a favourite, and a second favourite, and a few they think are ok, let alone some flavours of Dreamies they turn their noses up at. They'd simply be eating anything that gave them their "hit".This is particularly obvious when you consider the top three favourites, where one is the absolute winner. As they like all of these favourites, then flavour would be secondary to the "drugs hit" if these things were so addictive. But that's not the case.My local cats go crazy for the Salmon and Tuna mixed bag. In fact, fishy flavour goes down best. Beef is way down the list. And if it's not Salmon and Tuna, they'll sometimes walk away after only eating a few Dreamies. Therefore, whatever it is they crave in Dreamies isn't some secret addictive drug, else they'd not display your typical feline fussiness about what they want on any particular day. Crack-head cats wouldn't do that.

Sometimes I try to sneak a few treats out of the bag and leave them scattered around the house to surprise my kitty but he always hears the rustling or the opening of the treat drawer and comes running at a speed that would have to be seen to be believed.I am VERY generous with the amount I give him, I simply can't resist the look in his eyes or the way he stares at the drawer then me emitting small meows to really pull at my heart, so I was worried I was giving him too much. The vet just gave my kitty an A+ on his first yearly health check. Her first reaction as he happily came out of the pet carrier and put his paws on her chest sniffing her with the curiosity of... well a cat,was to gasp at how beautiful and strong he looked, she commented his teeth, weight and coat are in puuurfect condition and she's never seen a coat so soft and white in her entire career, wishing all cats she saw was as healthy as kitty. My fears that he would turn into a little fatty fat fat dispelled, I awarded him with more dreamies and beamed with pride.I love that Dreamies come in various flavours and kitty loves them all. I hope they introduce more flavours soon.

My back up supply of 8 packets of Dreamies has just arrived and I can only say thank goodness for Amazon, not only a good price but nice fast service too. I was trying to make the first pack last until the new lot arrived as I just didn't know how to explain to the cat that he had eaten them all, my life would not have been worth living! (I live nearly two hours from the nearest supermarket so couldn't just pop down and buy some more) My cat is 18 and he thinks he has already died and gone to heaven and you would honestly think he was two months old, the acrobatics he goes to, to get me to give him some more. He actually sits on the arm of the chair staring at the packet, willing it to fall off the shelf and magically open. I have written to the manufacturing company to complain to the 'inventor' but have been informed "he is currently on the run from owners such as yourself who are driven to distraction by the constant demands of their feline companions".I can only advise you not to by this product unless you want to turn your cat into a drooling demented loonie!!!

Our cats are terribly difficult to please when it comes to their food and can often turn their noses up at a bowl of what they had declared to be nectar the previous day. I therefore purchased these treats with some trepidation, unsure whether they would turn out to be a hit or a miss.Well, a handful of treats is hoovered up in super quick time, without any of the usual sniffing that can accompany something new, or any of the fickleness that they often display on day two, three and so on. They tried the cheese version of the treat first but have now also tried the beef, chicken and salmon - I am amazed to say that they are all a big hit (beef seems to be their particular favourite)and are certainly worth considering as a treat for the cat or kitten in your life. Middle cat's eyes light up when she just sees one of the treat bags being picked up and she gets terribly excited - she is normally the most ambivalent of cats, so these have to be good. The Thomas' cats vote this cat treat a HIT - and they are certainly not easily pleased.

These cat treats are amazing things. Our cat, usually the most sedentary and aloof of creatures, can usually just about summon up the energy to saunter to her bowl when she feels like a bit of food. And the thought of asking for food, or even begging, is totally alien to her. But produce a pack of these things and she goes nuts, begging and miaowing in unprecedented displays, with far more energy than she usually expends on anything. Put them in her bowl and she instantly scoffs the lot, even hunting down morsels that have fallen out of the bowl and get hidden between it and the wall – we usually have to hoover these up as she has such disdain for food on the floor. She goes absolutely wild,I can only describe it as an addiction. So in summary, in terms of our cat (I know every one is different and other cats will have different tastes) these are amazing treats to which she is now addicted. 5 stars.

I was amused by being asked about the flavour when I reviewed these. Based on how my cats react when the tub is shaken I would say delicious. They are both cheese fiends and will lick or snatch the crumbs or cubes from neglected plates, the Philadelphia off your toast and the mascarpone off your fruit pie if you don't watch them carefully. They were rescue cats and they have not entirely lost the habits accrued when they were once starving, even though they now turn their noses up when their catfood is covered in jelly not gravy and won't eat the tinned stuff but the smaller more expensive portions from satchets. They love cheese flavoured dreamies. The other flavours they like but not snatch them from your fingers like.Bought through Amazon's subscriber option I save money and get the product just in time for the spoilt little fur brats to thank me, by offering themselves up for a tummy tickle.

Cat absolutely loves a few of these before I put him out for the night. I give him between 6-8 treats each night around 9 or 10pm after he's had his dinner, (it's good to give your cat a mixture of wet and dry food for their diet), however my cat only really eats wet food so at least he's getting something dry into him for a treat. These are TREATS and are quite fattening, so DO NOT substitute them for your cat's dry food meal. Cat's also don't drink a lot of water, hence why a mixture of wet and dry food is good.Wouldn't recommend giving a MAX of 10 treats a day, as I've no idea how healthy these treats are for the cat either. But a few a day is a nice treat, all cats seem to like these Dreams. Also, the value in a tub is much better than buying small packets in shops for like 2EUR a pop, just something to think about.Mind your kitty's ! :)

Well I've not tasted them, so I can only go off my cats reaction. Bob (cat) has learnt the word 'Dreamies' so instantly wakes from his cat coma and comes running and starts yamming at me. He has yet to break into this improved cat resistant box!Bob has since during lockdown, learnt to hustle several members of the household for Dreamies for looking cute, purring and meowing in dulcet tones, this can happen several times a day, as he catches a person on their own. There must be something very appealing in these little cat biscuits that make innocent little house cats behave like drug induced street cats looking for there next mouse? Will there be no end to this torment of hustling?Especially sincewe caught Bob on the laptop putting the tubs of Dreamies on a subscription! It just proves cats do not need thumbs to type......

I buy Dreamies by the shed-load, literally. Amazon deliveries are always at my door with boxes of these in various flavours every week.My 3 cats Nash, Pyewacket and Molly simply adore Dreamies and Cheese is a particular favourite of Nash and Molly (Pye will just eat whatever flavour is going!) They literally scream at the top of their lungs to get at these. Its bedlam when I get the packet out. Molly has tried to jailbreak the box to get at them (had to start hiding them upstairs!) and Boxing Day was a joy when my 3 furbabies all got a whole packet each to last them (they got Cheese flavour on Christmas Day) the day. They were very happy all Boxing Day I can tell you.I spend so much money on Dreamies I should have shares in the company, but I love my cats and they love me, so I keep buying them.RECOMMENDED!

I've found that dogs often really like a lot of cat food and cat treats. I have a border terrier that loves these treats.I like these treats the most as they're really small so they're great for training and reinforcement. Will always make sure I have these in stock, they're some of his favourites. I highly recommend!Feeding your dog cat treats a lot/making a habit of it isn't harmful to your dog but also not ideal. He probably has a few a couple of times a week, he doesn't have that many. Also, Dreamies can have horrible effects on cats. Cats can get very addicted to them and it can even change their behaviour. It can be very damaging for them. However, the same effects aren't seen in canines; hence why I'm giving a positive review. If I had a cat, it likely wouldn't be positive.

We have 4 cat's at present and one just loves these things, so much so that a simple glimpse of a packet can get him running ... (or used to just coax him in when he's sat outside ... taunting you as you try to get him to come in out of the cold/rain. The little monster ?).But anyway. Dreamies ... especially these large 350g tubs. When they come up on Special Offer you just have to, don't you and this little chap adores them (especially the Cheese or Tuna variety). Though fortunately for him our other cats are not too fussed for them which I find strange though it does save me a small fortune just buying for one, so all the more for him.Now best not disturb him as he's no doubt dreaming of something ....lol.

My cat absolutely loves Dreamies treats. She got some for Xmas and whenever she was given some she was done within seconds. So when I came across these when I was running low on cat treats I thought I ought to make an investment. My delivery was 2 days on Prime which is pretty good.About the product itself, regular chicken treat flavour which I can confirm cats enjoy, from my own experiences and my family's, the containers of which they come in live up to their self-described 'Scratch Resistance'; as my cat isn't able to get in them on her own, as you'd imagine. Other than that, they're fairly easy to store and aren't much of an obstruction in the cupboards.10/10 would meow again.
