I am thrilled with this item. Before my cat would just stare fixedly out of the window, watching rain droplets trace translucent lines in the reflection of her misery. Her days passed in inane, grey repetition. The same drab objects passing in and out of her bubble of self-loathing. She would do nought else but sit and ponder, dwelling on the meaningless of her own existence. Barely would she bat an elegant eyelash at our futile and puny attempts to entertain her, remaining in her shallow funk for endless months. But not any more! Our once shadowy wisp of a feline is feeling fine! Or more than fine! Just a sprinkle here and there around the apartment sends our cat literally writhing with glee! She has been transformed from a manic-depressive into just plain manic. From barely moving around the house expect your cat to concentrate their newly found boundless energy on the following new hobbies:1. Sprinting (up and down the hall, into the kitchen, onto the top of the wardrobe, onto the bed, into the lounge and up and down the stairs - even at 3am!)2. Home décor - our cat now helpfully lends a hand with the Feng Shui of our rooms by getting rid of those useless old items of furniture and decoration we hadn't the heart, or the money, to replace. That priceless hand-made oriental rug left to you by Grandpa that he picked up during his WWII tour of duty in the navy? We should have shredded it anyway. Did it always have that stain and funny smell? Who cares! And what about the Victorian art nouveau pictorial vase circa 1900 that was Grandma's pride and joy? We never liked it anyway, smash! That mid-century dinner table and chair set? I actually prefer the scratched/splintered shabby chic wood effect, such trend!3. Alarm clock - now that our cat has an addiction to a mild hallucinogenic she needs topping up at regular intervals. These are as follows: 3am, 5am, 6am, 6pm, 7pm, 10pm ,11pm. Now I can make the most of my mornings, evenings, late nights and early mornings just like I always wanted.4. Surgery - As your cat is now seeing through the space and time continuum it makes it quite difficult for them to distinguish between the real world and what she is actually envisioning, and she wants to share it with you! Do not, for any reason, extend a body part in their direction. In fact, close the door and wedge it shut. Poke cat treats through the gap at regular intervals wearing oven mitts.5. Staring contests, with your soul - now that your cat is tripping the light fantastic expect when you are alone, in the bitter watches of the night, when all your life seems to shrink, the walls of your bower closing in about you, you will open your eyes to find two dilated demon holes discharging visions of the nether-worlds directly into your sleepy peepers. Refreshing! All in all it does exactly what it says on the tin.

This has become part of our evening routine now.My compadre is a 13 year old Norwegian Forest Cat who likes a kip and lots of cuddles. After dinner he sits next to a pile of his toys...I ask him “Do you want some weed?” Then it’s game on!The tin this comes in is really nice, the lid fits tightly enough to prevent the ‘nip from drying out or him helping himself, but not too tight that you need a screwdriver to open it!The idea with catnip is to slightly warm it by rubbing it through your fingers.....be careful though as this activates the murder button within your feline compadre, many lacerations of experience speaking here!I sprinkle a little on to his toys and he starts to eat it,then I agitate more over the toy which results in a 13 year old kitten killing everything! I make my dinner whilst he is in kitty heaven, I look through and he’s on his side, gripping a toy tightly with his front paws kicking with his hind paws....big black eyes glaring at me.....the hunter killer is in his element!Really great quality catnip, does what it says on the tin....it’s a yes from here!100% recommended.

I introduced this to my cat today. He's an old cat of about 12 years. At first he wasn't sure. He took a couple of cautious sniffs of the pot I'd just opened, and didn't seem to be too bothered. The thought crossed my mind that I might have wasted my money, as he withdrew from the open tub. Then he went back again. For some deeper sniffs. Then, some very, very deep sniffs. He started rubbing his head over the pot and playfully biting it, continuing to sniff heavily! Then the dibbling started - he was like a dripping tap - he made a wet patch on the sofa from the dribbling! He even had "air bubbles" of dribble all round his mouth. As he carried on dunking his head in the pot, catnip would get attached to his wet chin. He looked very wistful, very perky and needless to say, his interest in the cat nip tub was incredible. He became more playful than usual. I have no doubt he enjoyed the experience. I have taken it away and hidden it now. It's for special treats and occasions!

Even works outside left for hours and the usual culprits turned up on my doorstep to investigate what was going on. I don't own cats but whenever I leave my door or window open next door neighbours have cats all around me and they come inside, I don't care but I do care when they spaz out after seeing me and start running into things knocking them over etc, last time a grey cat tried climbing my curtain instead of retreating the way it came lol.Said grey cat was rolling around in this stuff on my door step outside while it was slightly windy, he got scared off by cats fighting and was soon replaced by a black cat who was also interested. i'd say oit was a sucess, as for why I do this,I want these cats to feel relaxed around me so I can leave my stuff open and not worry about them freaking out if they have come in for a smell( i tend to slow cook stuff most of the time), its cheap theres loads of it and the stuff I got smell strong enough, decent tin too

We have always purchased another catnip brand but I thought it would be better value to try this one instead. The catnip we were using before was all leave and this has sort of stems and flowers in as well which my cats find confusing for some reason! They mulled the little pile of catnip over, pushed it around with their paw, sniffed and poked it and then spread it around the living room by rolling in it. As they didn't actually EAT any of it, they came back in about an hour looking for more. This time they did cautiously eat it as well as rolling. For about fifteen minutes after that there was the sound of our two cats running around in the hallway, getting into mock fights and I do believe they may have taken out a lamp or two. Then they settled in for a peaceful six hour cat coma. So far so good.

My cats loves a bit of catnip and I also use it to rub onto their scratch post. This catnip comes in a handy tub, so after a bit of usage I pop their toys into the catnip tub and leaves them overnight, this drives my little ones mad when they get their toys back smelling of delicious catnip. The cats are happier than ever playing with their toys these days.I also give them some catnip separately and they love it. Gets them a bit ''high'' before they start rolling around the floor and confessing their undying love for the catnip.I am on tub number 2, and my three cats have given their paws up for this product. I predict tub 2 will not be my last.On a separate note, the catnip arrived within days of ordering, well before the delivery date on both occations so kudos to the seller.

The kitties approve! That said, it might not be ideal for everyone, depending on what/how you intend to use it. There is fairly big pices mixed in. Shouldn't matter if you intend to use it inside toys, or scatter it about (we got a big welcome mat, bought specifically for "nipping" purpose, which we scatter it on for four of the kitties). One of our cats does prefer his nip rubbed on a soft toy, so he can roll around with it. But we just rub the toy over the nip-mat, so the larger pieces fall on the mat.All the cats absolutely love this nip! It's great fun to see them enjoying the nip, especially our elderly tomcat. :) He doesn't play much anymore, but this nip always gets him going.

I have two cats and they absolutely love this catnip. They have a lovely scratching post, which they hardly ever used, but now all I have to do is rub a little of this amazing catnip on the scratching post and they fight who will use it first; furniture and carpets are finally safe. This of course is perfect to use as filling for cat toys. I made them some pretty little catnip stuffed birds for Christmas, and they were crazy about their new toys. Sadly, it seems that the toys were too delicate, and as the cats were turned into wildcats with the catnip, they managed to shred the poor stuffed birds in one afternoon, so I just use old socks now and the cats are perfectly happy with them.

...not just for your cat but you, too! Like a naughty child I was watching and giggling at my cat's response to this. It's brilliant!I'm a servant to four lovely felines, all of different character who seldom agree on one thing collectively, but this they all love. Which is why I highly recommend it as the `nip has done wonders for the shy one, grumpy nana has relaxed, too and as for the other two - they just roll around even more so than before.PS - they all had their heads in the jar and tried to eat the stuff, before some of it was placed in an old (clean!) sock. Thus would venture a guess that for fussy eaters it may act as an incentive if a little is sprinkled on food.

I purchased it to make my new cats use scratching boards but it only worked on one, the other one loves it so much he goes mad trying to eat every single bit! I wasn't sure if the cats would like it so I purchased the 1oz although the 2oz worked out cheaper per weight - you get so much as it is anyway. The tin it comes in is handy as well, I've previously purchased catnip in plastic bags. I don't think I would buy it again though as this isn't ground up so it's not ideal for putting on scratching boards, it doesn't fall into it so they just eat it off the top.

We have one male and one female cat. Female cat not interested at all. Male cat loves this stuff. We ram his toy mice in the tin and then give him the mice the next day, he spends a good hour or so stoned after playing with his toy. I'd never seen anything like it before his reaction is so strong. We also have a cat that turns up just for food when it feels like it and we put some of the cat nip down for him/her and he started to roll about it in off his head too. Not seen him since so I think he might be staying away from the local drug dealers house.

I have 3 cats with 3 different natures. Shadow is 14 and the boss-he was a bit wary of the cat-nip to start with but, I think ,when he saw the reaction it had on my 2 females Kipper and Ebony, he said "I want some of that".It turned Kipper from a skittish scaredy cat, to a much more placid pet. Ebony is the most laid-back cat I have ever owned,[ a huge all black,velvet-smooth animal,] and the cat nip made her more so, which I didn't think was possible. You will have fun with this product, and so will your cats.

My male cats love this , the female one isnt interested. I put this in the kong toys , even though they come with a tube of catnip, for some reason the cats prefered this in them. One of the males likes to literally stick his head in the tub but then he bites the tub then my hand then attacks my feet so ive stopped letting him do that! If you dont have any toys to put this in, just use a small sock , fill it, knot it then put a shoe lace on it, seriously my cats love this .

I put some of this Kong Premium Catnip on one of two scratching pads I have for my two female cats and I watched them fight over it! So I know they love it.The plastic jar is so large that it lasts a long time even when giving them a few sprinkles every other day. They love it though and would have more.A couple of hours later and they are laying their heads where the catnip was, and they are chilling.I would definitely recommend this catnip, is the best ever.

I put the entire contents of the bottle into my cats food and mixed it in, it smelt it and immediately pushed it's face into the food and rolled around on the carpet for over 1/2 hour, after it relinquished itself from it's cat acid induced coma it vomited all over it's stomach and ran outside.all in all I was thoroughly impressed so I purchased 5 more bottles that I'm going to boil into a broth and attempt an IV infused cat coma drug that he will no doubt enjoy.
